    Man it’s insane what can be done with 3D printing nowadays! Building models as a kid and wanting to customize things just meant kit bashing or building with putty. Would have loved the the capability available now back then. Looking forward to seeing more completely 3D printed builds.

      @plastiksurgeon9129 11 місяців тому

    Excellent printer! The body came out VERY nice!
    I do a lot of 3D printing of bodies with my own files, and I tried printing a few times at .030. The body came out great, but WOW……did a take a loooong time! 🤯
    I’m happy with the .050 setting…..a wee bit more sanding, but you gotta do that anyway no matter the subject being printed.

    • @waza3350

    • @plastiksurgeon9129
      @plastiksurgeon9129 11 місяців тому +2

      @@waza3350 That’s unknowable without knowing which model. Depends on the tilt angle and the amount of layers. I can bet at least 20 hours or so if it was something like a Camaro or along that line, and it was tilted at 20° on the Y axis.

    That 3d printer system is pretty cool but idk if I like that it automatically dispenses the resin, that just seems like it would be one more thing needing to be cleaned after printing. Also how easy is it to get the unused resin left in the basin back into the Cartridge you loaded into the printer afterwards?
