Peter showed all the 101 manipulation and gaslighting tactics of abusive narcissists. Turned something innocent into an argument, blaming her for it so he could leave and she would come crawling back to him for his affection.
The actor who plays Luke/Peter is really really good. Because everyone loved him as Luke, and then a few years later everyone absolutely HATED him as Peter. Also, I would have had zero idea after Hill House that he wasn't actually American (I can't speak to the accuracy of his Scottish accent in Bly but it sounds good to me).
Peter was introduced with the song "Tainted Love". I enjoy your reactions/reviews of this show. You are quite close on many points; all will be revealed.

100%. Why do those tactics always seem insanely obvious to everyone except the victim?
Really enjoying your reactions. Looking forward to the next one!

Oooooh good catch on the parallel in the song.
