behemoth and extremoth are considered so hard a good portion of the fandom considers them to be some of the hardest fights in the franchise, behind only the insanity of frontier
Yeah i think alatreon and fatalis are bullshit but i guess i forgot the behemoth existed because I haven’t fought him since i got the full armor, layered armor, nexus gae bolg, and the nexus dragon soul

Me and my friends did this nightmare pre-iceborne and lemme tell you, it sucked fir 8 hours. I had to force myself to learn the jump before it became natural for me to do so. We did the cluster strat phase 1 to phase 4 then status ailment lock it at the final phase when we were stuck on last cart. My butthole never fused into one cheek so hard.
Now I solo extremoth to repay those lesson back.

I have 500 hours in this game, and I tried for several weeks on and off trying to solo this bastard. After dozens of attempts, I only actually beat him twice.
Huge respect to anyone who attempts this, it's an amazing experience (but a really annoying hunt).
