Hi Allie!!! Yes I would love to see a part 2!!! Also I think you should do a video of your drugstore starter kit, so if anyone is just starting makeup and can learn your most recommend products for beginners! 💕💕💕
Samantha Ravandahl did a “no buy” recently and said it helped her do better content and take away dependence on new product reviews. I enjoyed her no buy as it resulted in old favourites being brought back sometimes in new ways
I’m honestly over the new launches and review videos, I love the shop my stash, grwm, nothing new, etc videos! I don’t wanna feel like I have to get every new thing ever 🙄 I love how your so real! ❤️
Yes Allie!!! I would love to see more full face nothing new and shop my stash videos as I’m on a no buy 2020. My collection just got way too big and I was spending more money on beauty products than I can afford, so I’m really focusing this year on using the stuff that I have. Wish me luck! 😬
Lucy Du Feu me too!!! Well that is right after the Sephora after Christmas order AND the Impressions vanity order comes in.... 😂🤪 it’s a problem... but it’s all SO pretty. 😂😉
Lucy Du Feu the after Christmas sale on Sephora.com was amazing! I got Becca face pallet, Lancôme creme shadow pallet, Givenchy lipstick, Marc Jacobs highlighter... I could keep going 😱😂 all for 1/3 of the price! Now I’m definitely on a no buy for 2020!!
You should try revisiting your old monthly favorites from years back to see if they're still your favorites! I've been doing that for a few years and it's a fun way to rediscover old faves and shop my stash.
btw you being satisfied with your collection and interested in making more videos using the products you have - id love to see more basic tutorials like your "how to look good in person" one bc i swear by it!! just a suggestion 💗
I second this. UA-cam tutorials are great, but most beautubers are only thinking of how it looks in photos/on film, and the vast majority of us want to look good to the people around us and just ourselves. For example, no matter what foundation I try (even with trying different application methods), it always looks like it's just sitting in my skin and looks so tacky in person, and I would love to learn tricks on how to change it
@@sorelyanlie2784 I have the same problem, you're absolutely right! I keep thinking it's my application techniques are wrong, or the combination of products don't work with others or from the same brand even. Plus I'm on a no buy this year, so these videos help.
I use that Essence highlighter all over the face because Tati recommended it as a dupe (kind of) for the Hourglass ambient powder and I’m in LOVE! Seriously just blends all my makeup together and makes me look less makeup-y and just glowing in the best way.
@@blueribenaberry I know this is 10 months late but packaging wise their not the same, iv never tried the Charlotte tilbury powder but I do have the no. 7 pressed powder bc I heard it was a dupe lol! Idk if it’s true but I do love it!
it’s kinda one of those “if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it,” things. if you have an eyeshadow palette that you LOVE and use all the time, don’t buy more. I think a lot of us are on that same journey, right now. love your videos and really appreciate you embracing that strategy!
Absolutely would love a part 2. I’d love to see you use some BH Cosmetics products in that video! They’ve got so many amazing products that no one ever talks about! I feel you would LOVE the brilliance bronzers.
I love their products! I actually have a full face of BH Cosmetics & like how much I can get on sale too, also I like their brushes for eyes & face. The sets are just as versatile in appearance & performance!
Hi Allie, yes I would love to see a part two. Although I’m older and have more “mature” skin I love to watch your videos. I always look forward to them. Bless you!
I love and prefer drugstore videos as I feel like the average consumer shops drugstore for their looks! Walmart has a BEAUTIFUL make up section and super affordable!
They do & because of their new policies for the brands they've decided to go with regarding skincare beginning this year, I'm excited to try out some new & beneficial products!
Way less than a minute later. I picked up on that immediately and was wondering, "What the heck? Does she even realize that she just said how great her lips feel now?" Maybe editing gap there and she doesn't realize what she just said? I have no idea but it was so strange. Allie, you're usually on the ball. What happened? Just curious and glad to know I wasn't crazy since others picked up on that too. 😅
I used to use that Shimmering Sands palette when I was in high school around 2005-2007. Also back in the OG Beauty UA-cam days, Emily from EmilyNoel83/Beauty Broadcast used to talk about that palette all the time!
OMG the things you said about using products that you already have instead of buying more makeup speaks to my heart. One of my goals for 2020 is to buy only make up products that I need for my routine instead of buying every new thing that comes to the market. I strongly believe that UA-cam and social media culture in the world of make up pushes people with an overwhelming amount of pressure to buy new stuff. The passion for looks and the artistry of make up have been surpassed by the consumerism of the new, the novelty and the social pressure of having what everyone else has. It was not like this a few years ago or maybe I did not perceived this pressure.
More of these please!!! My hidden gems: Essence Satin touch blush in Satin Love, Cover girl Clean matte BB Cream (really is a medium coverage foundation), Lypsyl Swedish lip balm, Wet n Wild liquid eyeshadows (especially the shells and whistles shade), NYX liquid glitter shadows are amazing Stila dupes but not a huge color selection, Wet n Wild eyeshadow primer makes everything stick like a dream and I NEVER get creasing or fading on my oily eyelids.
MsButterFlySting80 i personally don’t find it a dumb question, but i’ve personally never have heard of it but i would assume that if you live in a rural area that it would be easier to find online!
My hidden-gem holy grail products are: -Milani Conceal and Perfect foundation AND powder -ELF camo concealer (not hidden gem lol totally worth the hype tho) -Essence Lash Princess (green tube) and Essence 18-hr waterproof eyeliner...that liner will NOT come off 😂😂😂
I like the Milani Prep Set & Glow powder & the NYX finishing powder to top off my Essence Fresh Foundation with the e.l.f. Camo concealer. I use any of my 5 e.l.f. beauty sprays to melt the powders & set with Wet N Wild Natural spray.
You’re probably some of the few people that actually does makeup, rather then get in drama in the beauty community, thank u! 💓 it really helps when it comes to makeup 💓💓
I love these kinds of videos! The hidden gems, your recommendations types of videos are awesome, I really don’t see this anywhere else (maybe I’m just not looking because I’m too busy watching your channel but who knows lol) but my absolute favorite videos you do are a face of nothing new!
Love *LOVE* the Shop your stash videos! I personally like knowing what you’ll tend to reach for, not just once on a review, but over and over. That’s the way the rest of us average consumers do makeup, and tends to encourage me to use what I already enjoy vs. feeling as though I need to get that “next hot thing”.
BellahStone Journey omg I wanted to love it but that foundation looked like a hot mess on my face 🤧🤧 it gave me no coverage and just looked weird and patchy
Please do a part 2!! I love that you revisit older products and make looks with what people may already have. It feels like makeup lovers are starting to roll their eyes at new launches bc there are so many good products out there already
I would love to see a part 2!! I had so much fun watching you try these products! 😊 I would love to try some of these in the future! Thanks for sharing Allie 💕
Could you please make a *minimalist makeup kit* video?? I am into makeup, buy I am not into buying tuns of makeup...I neither have money nor energy for that 😅. Could you make a video with multipurpose products avoiding "unnecessary" makeup products? You would do me a GREAT favor. I am asking you because you are the makeup guru I trust the most and can be sure that you will give honest suggestions. Thanks!💕💕
Hey Allie! I’d love another full face of no brands look! I know people may not like those because they may want the specific thing, but you could always list them in the description. I know I’m guilty of seeing a product on a video and immediately thinking I must have it, so the no brand videos help me be resourceful!! Thanks, and happy new year!
I agree completely! I love these "nothing new" videos for the highly budgeted folks like myself, but the "no brand " video she did took it to a whole other level that helped me tremendously in not feeling like I had to buy something new!
I love the fact that you do more interactive videos rather than just about new launches... it makes me look at different products differently when I am at a drugstore or the drugstore section at Ulta or Walmart... I would love to see a part 2 of this, it’s so fun
Please do another video like this! These are some of my favorites. I would also love to see you focus more on tutorials and less on new launches. I love reviews, but it does get overwhelming to feel like you already need to buy the next new thing, without using up what you already have. If you know of a great cool-tinted eyeshadow pallette, I would love to hear about that. Something with greys, blues, and purples. It seems like everything leans so warm anymore. It's also love to see a video on how to develop an everyday routine that can just become a quick signature look for those days when we don't have time to play with new colors and techniques.
I would love to see “second impression” videos-where you try products that you have, especially those that we’re just okay on first use, using different techniques to see if you get a better result. I’ve noticed lately with cream products especially that it takes me a few tries to figure out the best application method and order (some look better when I apply highlight first, for example, or some can be applied over powder while others can’t). In the spirit of using what you already have, I think it would be fun to see that process! I am with you as far as wanting to enjoy what I have. I have reached a point where I want to buy only items that I think will be really special. Sometimes it feels like buying makeup is more of a habit, albeit one I enjoy. I love makeup, I always will. But I don’t just want to keep adding and adding to my collection and not be able to enjoy anything! I really hope see see more videos in this style (the shop my stash/nothing new style) on your channel-they are my absolute favorites!
*OMG!!!! I'm totally fangirling right now!!!* Allie, thank you for using my suggestion (Covergirl Shimmering Sands Eyeshadow) in your video! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! It's definitely my go-to for basic every day looks, or a base for other projects (especially the Essence Melted Chrome Eyeshadows that was used after). Well, my day was made! Thank you!!! Be blessed!!! 😘
@@jennyjaunich4814 I've liked that for a few decades now, am so happy for you that Allie took your suggestion! Thanks for sharing your thoughts & have a great day today!
@@jessyeleet it's hard to find a good one, which undertones would you say it has? So many pull either too pink or too yellow & the actual neutral ones are too grey!
Some of my hidden gems is Covergirl smoothers tinted moisturizer (I do 2 layers and it never looks cakey and I use some Revlon candid concealer for the under eyes and to spot conceal ) I use flower beauty setting powder in translucent . (Makes my skin look smooth and feel really soft) Loreal telescopic mascara. Elf blush. And the covergirl peach Scented blush and highlighter pallette . And a nyx liquid eyeliner (forgot the name) but it never dries out so I love it 💛💛 And I use wet and wild rose setting spray or the coconut one.
I've always been curious about the powders, but is it the big one that I heard a few UA-camrs complain of the bulkiness? I don't mind that since I don't travel & that was their main concern.
The Maybelline FitMe In Toffee has been my go-to cream contour/bronzer for awhile now! It does get a little too warm on me in the winter, but in the summer it is perfection, and because it is a foundation it stays in place really well! I’d love to see a Part 2! My hidden gems: the Revlon Pore Perfecting Primer (I know you said you got the wrong one for this video-I definitely recommend the other one, the one that was recommended. It is one of the best pore filling primers I’ve ever tried). Also the No7 pressed powder is incredible as well. I also swear by the Milani Stay Put eyeliners, particularly the one in espresso (the ones that look very similar to the Urban Decay 24/7 packaging). Can’t wait to see the high end version of this video!
Love this!& all that you said for your future videos🙂some of my hidden gems are the $3 elf prime & stay face powder in beige for bronzer & the $3 bright pink blush.
I love this idea of shopping your stash and using more of what you already own. My favourite kinds of videos are three looks one palette and I feel like hardly anyone does these.
I would love to see a part 2! My hidden gem in the NYX born to glow concealer. It has great demi-matte coverage but somehow it's SO LIGHTWEIGHT. Also I love the videos that have 'using what I have' vibes. Contentment is always a good thing to spread on the internet.
I didn’t see this in time to submit one but for the comments, the L’Oréal color Riche matte lip liners (specifically in matte-stermind) is my big drugstore gem favorite
Yes! I would love a 2nd part of the drugstore hidden gems. I love to see this kind of videos beacuse not everyone can afford high end makeup, so thank you.
Allie always says how her lashes are naturally long, so getting them like that isn't too tough for. But, I would have liked to see the lashes without the primer too to be able to better assess the product.
Pleaseee continue doing full face of nothing new & shop my stash. I’m on a low buy this year and I’m doing a project Pan for this year so I can control my spending habits on makeup. Love your videos so much!
Hey gurl! Id absolutely love to see a part 2! Love watching you! You're so real, so humble! I also recently tried one of your favorite mascaras; lash paradise, and omg, I'm obsessed! #kyfam
My hidden gems are the Wet n wild multi stick in burning bridges barely remembered what the shade name was before rewriting my comment 😅with the elf clear gloss over top 😍
Yes, love the use what you have! I've heard so many ladies saying they are doing a "no buy 2020" and just using what they already have. Of course purchase some new stuff but not everything that comes out. Love your look today! Absolutely gorgeous as always!
Hi Allie the Covergirl eyelash primer does make your lashes bigger and better. I've used the same mascara with and without the primer huge difference with the covergirl primer
I have the Flower beauty highlighting palette and an Essence lip gloss and they are amazing! Sadly I didn’t like the telescopic mascara bc it was too clumpy.
Hi Allie! I'm the one who said the Revlon photoready primer! Sorry I wasn't 100% clear, they don't seem to have shade names so it's hard to say wich one. The light pink that you tried is somewhat okay... But you really have to try the darker pink one! It's the best. I used it on my boyfriend yesterday (he has big pores) and the primer worked beautifully! It erased all of His pores and he looked like another man! Definetly the best! Love you!! xx 💞💞💞 (Also, I fangirled so much when I saw you use my recommendation)😉
That mascara looks amazing! The handle looks super awesome for people who have hand/arm mobility issues which I love inclusivity innovation in beauty because everyone deserves the chance to have fun with makeup
I love this kind of video and hoping you do a second one! I’ve been doing the Essence highlighter all over the face like a finishing powder for a couple months and love that trick too!
I'm only 4 minutes in but you've already used my sponge, foundation and contour!!! Literally, the exact same products. Are you recording MY hidden gems??? Lol. I also love the Revlon Candid concealer!
Oh yes!! DEFINITELY do a part 2!! As for your extreme dry hands, try Vaseline Intesive Care Deep Moisture Jelly Cream. It's basically creamed vaseline. Put it on your hands at night before bed. It's the only thing that works for me. It's on the aisle with hand lotions at Walmart.
Please do a part 2 I love these videos!❤❤ That mascara combo seriously makes you look like you have false lashes on so I am so glad it wore well.🙌🙌 You look absolutely GORGEOUS, flawless, & FABULOUS!🥰🥰
Hi there Allie, I love these videos you do and asking your subscribers! I have gotten so many great products and tips from all of these videos you've done so far. So yes, I would love to see another one of these drugstore videos. So from one fellow Utah gal to another! Happy Tuesday! xo
I looove these videos because they usually feature products you can actually get at the drugstore year round. I'm really tired of all those launches, too many brands launch something every month or every 2 weeks and it's just too much. So I really like the idea of finding new ways to use old faves. I'm personally currently not purchasing any make-up, just tools to make the make-up and skincare I have work better.
OMG HI ALLIE!! IM SORRY IM SO LATE, I literally went to walmart to buy NYX bare with me brow gel and a bunch of products from the The best Drugstore of 2019 but now im here and im loving this brow gel. I love you so much and i would LOVEE to see a Part 2!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!
I have very reactive skin, and there are very few cosmetic products I can use. (I focus more on skincare, of which I am also very limited in what I can use.) I get SOOOO overwhelmed by all the new launches that seem to happen all the time, and I can’t use the products anyway. What I really enjoy is when I discover, or someone tells me about, new (or just alternative) ways I can use products I already own. I’m ALL about reinventing and/or discovering new uses, techniques, and purposes for already owned products, cosmetic or otherwise. I look forward to see what content you have planned for 2020! ❤️
I love this kind of videos from you. With the suggestions of your viewers, your completion looks soooooo amazing healthy! You may say the bronzer shades are not for you, but they look amazing on you, also the blush the combination of all the shades looks so naturally tan. I will try the suggestions too. Please post a 3rd video with the 2nd round of drugstore products. This Christmas I discover the plumping glosses from e.l.f. and I love them too. e.l.f. is new in Germany and I'm trying the products and so far most of them are great. I really think you look amazing with the combination of these products. You mentioned that you want to do more videos concentrating on tutorials. That is a great idea or project for this year. I will be very thankful!!! :)

Your lashes always look crazy long but the combo today looks like you have false lashes on 😃👍
Please do another video like this!
Always like your opinion on products we can actually afford.
It would be nice to make a “I try your dupes” or have you already made it? 😅😅 btw great video!!!
Yes please do Part 2! Love learning about new products!
CeraVe Healing Ointment has saved my dry, cracked lips! Highly recommend!!
Would love to see another one of these.
When I finish my aquaphor I will try this....which will be in like a million years...lol
THE BLACKJACK LIPBALMS ARE ONE OF THE BEST OUT THERE AND IM OBSESSED WITH IT
*OMG!!!! I'm totally fangirling right now!!!*
Allie, thank you for using my suggestion (Covergirl Shimmering Sands Eyeshadow) in your video! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! It's definitely my go-to for basic every day looks, or a base for other projects (especially the Essence Melted Chrome Eyeshadows that was used after). Well, my day was made! Thank you!!! Be blessed!!! 😘
Jenny Jaunich Yayyy!! Thank you so much for suggesting it!! You’re the best!! 😘😘😘
I’m literally going in the Target right now trying to find that shadow😂 it’s gorgeous! Thank you for the recommendations! 🥰
@@JessRodr You won't regret it! Wore it on my wedding and almost every day since! Hope you like it!
Jenny Jaunich Target success!
Thank you for sharing! 😃 gonna go play now.
@@jennyjaunich4814 I've liked that for a few decades now, am so happy for you that Allie took your suggestion! Thanks for sharing your thoughts & have a great day today!
The collab concealer at Sally’s Beauty is so good💜
Agreed. It's one of my personal faves.
Lauren Freeman I’ve never tried their mascara, so definitely will give it try!
@@jessyeleet it's hard to find a good one, which undertones would you say it has? So many pull either too pink or too yellow & the actual neutral ones are too grey!
I used to be OBSESSED with Shimmering Shands! And I’ve forgotten all about it. Thanks for reminding me!!!! Heading to Wal mart now :)
I really love how positive you are, it's pretty refreshing. You hardly have a negative thing to say.
Some of my hidden gems is
Covergirl smoothers tinted moisturizer (I do 2 layers and it never looks cakey and I use some Revlon candid concealer for the under eyes and to spot conceal )
I use flower beauty setting powder in translucent . (Makes my skin look smooth and feel really soft)
Loreal telescopic mascara.
Elf blush.
And the covergirl peach Scented blush and highlighter pallette .
And a nyx liquid eyeliner (forgot the name) but it never dries out so I love it 💛💛
And I use wet and wild rose setting spray or the coconut one.
Love this!& all that you said for your future videos🙂some of my hidden gems are the $3 elf prime & stay face powder in beige for bronzer & the $3 bright pink blush.
yes to you making these videos, i love them from you because you see the brightside of everyproduct.
the wet n wild photo"something" eye primer is my holy grail. very similar to UD primer potion
I love this idea of shopping your stash and using more of what you already own. My favourite kinds of videos are three looks one palette and I feel like hardly anyone does these.
You look so lovely! I love that eye look. I haven’t used a CG trio since junior high. I would love a Part 2.
I would love to see a part 2! My hidden gem in the NYX born to glow concealer. It has great demi-matte coverage but somehow it's SO LIGHTWEIGHT. Also I love the videos that have 'using what I have' vibes. Contentment is always a good thing to spread on the internet.
The essence shadows are BOMB. They look so foiled and wet and are so affordable
xxhaliamariexx what store sells Essence? My Target stopped carrying them :(
melanie fox my ulta has em
Would love to see drugstore brushes reviewed! 😊I feel high end brushes are always promoted nowadays!
My hidden gem is the Epic Ink Liner from NYX. I found it so great. It is like KVD tattoo liner in trooper black, but 10 times better.
Allie always says how her lashes are naturally long, so getting them like that isn't too tough for. But, I would have liked to see the lashes without the primer too to be able to better assess the product.
Part two please!! It’s overwhelming with all the new launches! I love to see you grab the oldies!
I feel the same way about being happy with what I have makeup wise and feeling like I don’t need more, and then colourpop gets me every time. 😂😂
Lol me too, problem is, they come out with such awesomeness every time I look!
#kyfam
Omg!! I shared the essence pure nude as a finishing powder!! That was so exciting!! Ahhh! I love you Allie♡♡♡
My hidden gems are the Wet n wild multi stick in burning bridges barely remembered what the shade name was before rewriting my comment 😅with the elf clear gloss over top 😍
I love their multi sticks. I have multiple shades.
m_99 Gonzalez I’m an idiot- why have I never thought to use them on the lips!!!! 🤦🏻♀️
Oooh, thanks for reminding me! I have a red, white, & black leftover from Halloween. Perhaps the red won't look too terrible under the right gloss.
Yes, love the use what you have! I've heard so many ladies saying they are doing a "no buy 2020" and just using what they already have. Of course purchase some new stuff but not everything that comes out.
Love your look today! Absolutely gorgeous as always!
Oh my god your eyelashes looked insane!!
Hi Allie the Covergirl eyelash primer does make your lashes bigger and better. I've used the same mascara with and without the primer huge difference with the covergirl primer
L’Oréal telescopic mascara
Flower beauty highlighting pallet
Essence lip gloss
Essence glosses are the best ever 🙌🏻
I love essence lip gloss!
I have the Flower beauty highlighting palette and an Essence lip gloss and they are amazing! Sadly I didn’t like the telescopic mascara bc it was too clumpy.
mlayne130 Telescopic is my HG. Worn it forever, but honestly all L’Oréal mascara’s are fantastic.
yesss my fave mascara. i love it, carli bybel recommended that mascara around 5 years ago, when she wasn't vegan yet
Love you!! xx 💞💞💞
(Also, I fangirled so much when I saw you use my recommendation)😉
When you put the foundation on it looked like you were done with your makeup wow you are gorgeous and I don’t say that to people lightly
That mascara looks amazing! The handle looks super awesome for people who have hand/arm mobility issues which I love inclusivity innovation in beauty because everyone deserves the chance to have fun with makeup
Def do part 2 or 3,4,5... etc
My makeup never looks that perfect, esp with liquid makeup. Pls do more vids like this
I love this kind of video and hoping you do a second one!
You pronounce everything so properly, I literally love the way you talk 😂😂
Please do a part 2 I love these videos!❤❤ That mascara combo seriously makes you look like you have false lashes on so I am so glad it wore well.🙌🙌 You look absolutely GORGEOUS, flawless, & FABULOUS!🥰🥰
You're eyes are captivating
PS. I'm new here
Your*
Hi there Allie, I love these videos you do and asking your subscribers! I have gotten so many great products and tips from all of these videos you've done so far. So yes, I would love to see another one of these drugstore videos. So from one fellow Utah gal to another! Happy Tuesday! xo
I would love to see another drugstore one and hopefully an affordable version too using colourpop 💖
I love when you do these videos! I need another trying your subscribers makeup tips video
that l'oréal unlimited mascara looks like A DREAM
I looove these videos because they usually feature products you can actually get at the drugstore year round. I'm really tired of all those launches, too many brands launch something every month or every 2 weeks and it's just too much. So I really like the idea of finding new ways to use old faves. I'm personally currently not purchasing any make-up, just tools to make the make-up and skincare I have work better.
Holy smokes I need to go buy that eyelash combo of the Maybelline primer and the mascara! It looks AMAZING!!! 🥰💕💕💕
Yayis Arias it’s the cover girl primer
OMG HI ALLIE!! IM SORRY IM SO LATE, I literally went to walmart to buy NYX bare with me brow gel and a bunch of products from the The best Drugstore of 2019 but now im here and im loving this brow gel. I love you so much and i would LOVEE to see a Part 2!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!
This is like a full face of ELITE makeup.
I wish she would get an Audrey Hepburn haircut she could rock it for sure
