I was just talking about this on a Reddit post lol. But yeah she really does. Her channel is just very refreshing and soothing (not at all overwhelming or garish as some can tend to be)
This is literally the best beginner starting kit tutorial I’ve ever seen, she actually uses the same products for different things, the products and prices are great and she gives tips throughout the video.
Yes, simple, but tried and true. I'm in my mind 40's and I feel like this look IS achievable for beginners (not a beginner, but I haven't perfected the look I want yet, I'm trying)! I used to use Bare Minerals original foundation, Mascara and a couple other things and was good to go! My skin has changed soooo much, some of the drugstore brand stuff is awesome, but I feel to achieve most any kind of look nowadays I need a pore filling primer, for sure!! BB creams grab to certain spots on my face, ugh, but I'm a realist...these are young, fresh faces. I need to experiment a little, I'm afraid, but this girl knows her stuff and I may just try and see if I can achieve this look (or mostly achieve) by Allie! She's awesome with tutorials! I've watched so many of her vlogs/tutorials and haven't made a dent in her video's yet!! 😂🤷💛✌😁
I would buy from her!! I'm sure a lot of us would as subscribers, but she really knows her stuff :) (Just as long as there isn't the ingredient caprylyl glycol in there like there seems to be in literally half the beauty market😔not that anyone else needs to worry cuz it's just my own * special * allergy, just hoping she sees this if it's in the stars for her to start a line)
@@kennamreed I hope so! Her makeup style is so wearable for everyday wear so I think her line would be products that are very usable for normal people like me
I started wearing makeup about a year ago, and here are some of my favorite versatile everyday products: Cover girl lash blast, same as Allie, it's a thinner formula so you don't get clumps and I love it so much, especially when I pre-curl my lashes. Elf warm bronzer palette, it comes with a few different golds and browns, and a highlighter. Also a nice mirror for on the go. Wet n wild eyeshadow palette in rose in the air, beauty little palette for 5$ and on Amazon 2.8$ it has neutrals and some brighter shades. Elf brushes-I used the blush brush for blush, bronzer, and highlighter, and the professional line has some more affordable ones for the eyes. Age rewind concealer, and the elf camo concealer, elf is thicker and full coverage, the age rewind is more expensive but I use it on the face Burts bees tinted lip balm, I have three shades and they are great for everyday, when you eat you don't have to worry about it moving around and very comfortable to wear. Milani rose blush, matte blush but a nice light pink that is not too heavy. Hope this helps someone! ❤️
I absolutely love the Milani rose and baked blushes (Luminoso!!). HOWEVER, I used Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer for YEARS and they recently changed the packaging and possibly formula (?). I can't get it to look as good. The sponge applicator is awful now :( The sponge disintegrates and the concealer seems to settle into lines more and become drier overtime. I will take your advice and try e.l.f. camo concealer.
Lindsey Brush just a heads up for the elf, they have it at target for either 6-5$, it has a slight scent but not that bad, and it dries slightly quickly so you can't put some all over and then blend, but I only do my eyes so it's fine. For the age rewind, I found a video a while ago where a lady was using it without the sponge, and I've been using that way ever since. You just pull it off and then wash your hand after, it saves some product that may be in the sponge, and a little easier to apply. And if you want a more detailed review, watch the wear test from Zabrena here on UA-cam.
@@lindseybrush7322 I thought that about the Age Rewind then I noticed there were 2 different formulas. The brightening one is lighter consistency and a different sponge than the dark circle formula.
I wish I could’ve watched something like this maybe 12 years ago when I first got into makeup instead of so much trial and error on my end 😂. It’s so cool to see how much the beauty community has evolved- at the time one of the only UA-camrs was Michelle Phan who I love but it’s so cool to have been able to see other people’s channels grow like yours! 💛
I'm so grateful to have this video now for the same reason. Started wearing makeup in Oct-Nov, 2019, and need a lot of help with techniques..I wore makeup when I was in my 30s, a few decades ago and things, products & LOOKS have changed so much, and Allie is one of the most modern Makeup Gurus on YT, and She is nice too! There are a few that are good but too full of themselves😲 lol
Although I'm 62 years old, I still feel like a novice make-upper. this was an amazingly informative and helpful tutorial, and I hope to use the tips very soon. Thank you!
some cruelty free options! (canadian store edition) foundation: elf flawless finish foundation ~$6 concealer: covergirl trublend ~$12 powder: covergirl translucent powder ~$8 (the wet n wild one allie recommended is no longer considered cruelty free) blush: nyx hamptons blush is my personal fav ~$9 bronzer: the physicians formula allie recommended is cruelty free! ~$16 highlight: the essence pure nude highlighter is also cruelty free ~$5 brows: nyx micro brow pencil ~$12, and the essence make me brow brow gel ~$4 mascara: any mascara from essence is a hit! ~$5 lips: colourpop tinted lip crayons ~$6 setting spray: catrice ones! they have an oil controlling one, a dewy one, and a long lasting one ~$8 all products mentioned are available at shoppers drug mart, walmart, and superstore!
Omg same here dermatologist say its filled with junk ingredients. Instead try heritage store rosewater sold at ulta. Its literally Rose's and water and like $7/4oz and $10/8oz
E L No, it doesn't contain alcohol, so it won't make your makeup last longer, but it is a really nice skincare spray. Plus, you can still use it on your eyeshadow brush to make shimmers look more foiled, and it does help melt your powder makeup into the skin. 💖
I appreciate Allie's concern for us as new makeup users in terms of money. I don't have a lot to spend and I appreciate how flexible her suggestions are.
I love how when you make a drugstore video you make no "exceptions" to the products you use Everything is from the drugstore or kit you used....even the tools! Love you and your channel, definitely going to try that foundation!
Another great foundation option for those with more oily skin is the Covergirl Clean Matte BB cream. It has similar coverage to the neutroguena hydroboost but will leave you less shiny
I'm 47 years old and new to your channel...and I love it! I only wear drugstore makeup and sometimes I feel overwhelmed and curious with all that is out there. I'm a minimalist when it comes to wearing makeup and appreciate that you allow your natural beauty to shine through in this video. I have very oily skin and am excited to try the Rimmel powder you suggested.
Looooveee this tutorial. I'm 48. Stopped using any foundations and makeup some 10 years ago. My skin is nourished and regularly checked with my long time dermatologist. At one point I really started to appreciate healthy skin breathing. I will give it a shot with this approach. I adore soft pink colours, both on cheeks and lips. Saving this tutorial and product recommendations. You are absolutely amazing, kind and so considerate when it comes to addressing all sorts of personal preferences. Thank you 💚
I just helped my stepmom get her starter makeup products. Shes almost 50 but she really wanted to start using makeup this year, so it's fun to see what others recommend.
I have a good size collection and have been wearing makeup for over 15 years but I still enjoy these videos because it really highlights some great stand out products
I started wearing makeup about a year ago and this is definitely my every day routine. I love that mascara in brown as well and the elf brushes are great if you want a few more brushes.
Thank you so much for this video. I'm in my 40's, just starting out wanting to wear "natural looking" makeup, and especially love the price point. Since I don't fully know what I'm doing and there are sooooo many options out there, I appreciate the drugstore lines. I believe these are all easily accessible to everyone, no matter where they live. Again, thank you and keep up the great work. I love all of your videos. You're very specific, knowledgeable, articulate, soft spoken, and don't get sidetracked and lose focus.
I REALLY appreciate this video. I'm 48 and when I was young I never left home without makeup on but I stopped wearing it 20+ years ago. When I started wearing again it around a year ago, I realized just how much makeup has evolved and I was completely overwhelmed! I have a lot of fine lines and wrinkles and crepey areas below my cheeks, plus dark spots, and I just can't seem to find the right foundation and application technique to cover it. Instead everything accentuates it! I can't tell you the amount of money that I have wasted (that I couldn't afford) on products that were completely WRONG for me. Some high end foundations that I had to save up to buy and are just sitting in a bin never being used. I'm going to check out some of these. Thank you for doing this! ❤
When I’m feeling slightly overwhelmed by makeup in general, I always go back to this video to see that something that’s already in my makeup bag can spark as much joy as the newest launch. Love you so much Allie!
I appreciate you saying not to worry about primers and to focus on skincare! Especially for all the young girls starting out with makeup. I myself personally haven’t found a primer that helps with the longevity of my makeup vs my normal moisturizers.
Loved this!! How about a refresh for intermediates? I've had a makeup collection for a while but I just purged and now I only have like 3 products that are newish and I don't really want to repurchase what I purged because I never really loved anything. Also, do you have a long-lasting foundation recommendation for dry skin? I don't have breakouts but I have really red skin and larger pores.
Try the L'oreal Infallible Freshwear foundation! It's super good for all skin tones. I have dry skin too, and it gives my skin a really nice natural finish, but it's also long-wearing. I think it's about $15 at Ulta, so it's on the affordable side, too!
@@michellerella88 I love that one and I have oily-combination skin. It has such a good finish. I heard about it from Tati and I loved how it looked on her skin and we have very similar skin types so I tried it and loved it.
Allie did a video on tarte rainforest of the sea foundation. It's good for dry skin. Very hydrating. I also like Stila hide and chic foundation also. Allie suggested the Tarte h20 moisturizer under foundations. I bought the small size first but recently picked up a jumbo size of it. Excellent for dry skin.
im so happy that u did this video....im a very longtime cancer warrior and have not worn makeup in a little over 20 years...i do not own anything but some lip products, which im addicted to lol and although i really cant afford it, ive really been wanting to get into wearing makeup again....i always loved how in depth u are with what you buy, why they are or arent good and how u put on your makeup so i very much appreciated this!!!!!
i have dry skin and i am also pale with tons of freckles...one thing i do worry about is looking like i have too much makeup on and purposely covering them....i also dont know if dark colors of lip anything look good on me because im so pale....i also have a hair lip and crooked upper lip...i have to literally shape it to look natural and straight....do u have any tips to help with any of that??
The Mario badescu spray is my FAVORITE setting spray it really really gives you a natural radiant finish where it makes it look like you have amazing skin
Brilliant! Basic easy to follow instructions, not too many products and a beautiful result! Youve got a new fan! I'm 63 and usuallyally no good with make up but will be giving this routine a go! Thank you SO much x
I had to retire early due to health problems, so I started watching UA-cam several years ago to find the best drugstore makeup/skincare to replace my high end products. These kinds of videos are my FAVORITE!! I am extremely pale, and have had trouble finding my shade when it comes to Neutrogena and Physicians Formula. I thought I might share a few of my favs... CYO Lifeproof 101/Soap and Glory Kicka_ _ foundation, Revolution Conceal and Hydrate concealer-C2, Maybelline City bronzer 100, Elf Baked highlighter-moonlight pearls, Milani blush in Luminoso.LA Girl Shady Slim brow pencil, and the Believe Beauty lengthening mascara (love this!). Still trying to find a powder, so I will be trying the Wet n Wild one❤
Hi Allie, can you do a cruelty-free version of this video? I have a hard time finding which cruelty-free make up is the best especially finding a good cruelty-free concealer. I would be really grateful if you do that. I really enjoy your videos. It shows how much effort you put into making them. Hope you have a nice day 😊❤
If this helps, ELF and Covergirl are both cruelty-free. I like most of the things I have tried from both these brands. You can also check out Kelly Gooch and Sarah Rose here on youtube- they both only use cruelty-free.
I did this makeup with you and followed along (with the same type products just from different brands) The outcome is gorgeous glowy and natural looking. This is my new everyday look😍
Awesome tutorial. I have not worn makeup in I don’t know how long. Mom life and being pregnant has taken over every aspect of life right now. (Not complaining. It’s the best experience ever.) I just forgot what I needed in my everyday makeup bag. This video was super helpful. Beautiful everyday, quick and easy makeup routine. Thank you for sharing it with us.
I needed this mostly because I have never used makeup in this sense! Maybe only a mascara one day but nothing to this extent so I find it really helpful 😩🤩💖
If I know anyone getting into makeup ....I would ago recommend this video! For years I was a very basic makeup wearer.... well until a few years ago. Now absolutely love makeup. Thanks to youtube! I have learned how to do a lot more with makeup. I then just wore neutral eyeshadows, blush, mascara, and lip blam or gloss that is it. Been branching out in more color now for eyeshadow, added highlighter and bronzer, eyebrow pencil, and eyeliner (though only black). All great products. Though haven't tried the foundation!
Thank you so much for explaining that you need two DIFFERENT colours of your concealer if you want to spot conceal! I see so many other youtubers use the highlighting shade. Always looking forward to your videos💕
I really enjoy these videos. Looking at all the different types of makeup can be very overwhelming so I genuinely appreciate these reviews. Especially since I just recently got more into makeup a few months ago, despite being in my late 30’s.
I love these videos so much. They're so nice and relaxed. Some makeup videos just stress me out but these are nice and calming, low stress just info and fun.
I love that you suggested Lashblast! When I was a teenager, it was the mascara that worked best for me and it's still my go to at the drugstore. I hate clumpy mascara so it was like heavenly compared to a lot of the others at the time. And I'm glad you mentioned the Rimmel Stay Matte powder because I was thinking that's perfect for a beginner. Also, covergirl blushes are so good and so affordable so I highly recommend those for a beginner too.
HI Allie!!! I've been bingeing your videos because your thoroughness in product reviews and explanation of technique is MILES AWAY from most other beauty UA-camrs, and as someone new to makeup I am SO APPRECIATIVE!!!!
This is exactly what I was looking for a few weeks back as I am dabbling back into makeup in my mid-thirties! I want a subtle makeup look and am planning on buying most of these items tomorrow (bronzer, blush, highlighter, concealer). The makeup brush kit was on sale through Amazon. I have been using the L’Oréal infallible Fresh Wear for foundation and the maybelline Fit Me loose powder and I already have the CoverGirl mascara.
I'm not aspiring to be at the level of a full on beauty guru with drawers full of eyeshadow palettes, I just want to matter the basics on my face. Thank you for this newbie-friendly choose-your-own-adventure video full of recommendations. I appreciate you 👏
*This was a very useful video.* Most makeup online nowadays is all about heavy cakeup & most people forget that *there are audience who are still getting started out.* This was very detailed even with things where other influencers *expect to be common sense* (which brushes to use) *So thank you!!*
Allie! These amazing 'starter kit' videos are what originally brought me to your channel. Having this information is invaluable to us beginners - it's so hard to find anything for newbies on UA-cam because the beauty guru community here is so well-established. Thanks for remembering that not all of us interested in make-up have already been doing it forever. If you ever have time, I'd love to see you do a one-shadow and two-shadow look at some point... always love you! Hope you and Tylan are having an amazing week and Holiday season!
Hello I just discovered you a week ago, and I love you, you are one of my favorites. You and Tati. :D I love that you have a lot of videos with drugstore make up, and I really enjoy your videos.
That's such a fresh makeup look, though personally I don't have much love for lash paradise but absolutely love essence mascara or maybelline great lash
Love this, it’s perfect timing. I’ve been thinking about venturing into makeup but don’t know where to start. Reading the comments for recommendations too. 😜
Allie I love the simplicity and final look of your make up applications for beginners..I'm not a beginner make up user and I took away some new techniques..less is really more beautiful as I age....
I know this video is old, but as a new subscriber who is looking to get into makeup, this video is so helpful. I've never really been a big make-up person and would always just steal my mom's products whenever I needed some for a special occasion. I've been looking to get my own set of make-up and brushes and have been trying to find the best products for the best price, and this is extremely helpful. Thank you so much 🥰💜
Love this video, it was just so refreshing in the way that, not only did I it bring it back to instruction based kind of makeup tutorials, but it wasn’t overwhelming in the snes or getting a super glam look- although I love those! But it was just something that I personally would’ve really loved when I was just coming into make up, but I also found it really helpful and applicable to me now so I’m trying to streamline and make up routine and just find something simple and reliable.
I just discovered ur channel and ive always been interested in makeup but always discouraged since so many makeup gurus only really use super expensive and fancy products that i can never afford. Thank you for creating these amazing videos! I feel so encouraged and excited to get into makeup now without having to blow out my entire bank account!
I wish you were making videos when I first started getting into makeup in 2007-2008. This video is phenomenal, cant wait to share it with my young cousin who is just starting in makeup.
An everyday essential I use is Nyx Worth the Hype mascara in brown. Sometimes when you don’t want to wear a full face, just throwing on mascara can make so much of a difference and make you look more awake. Brown mascara also seems less harsh. I also use the brown mascara on days when I go for “soft glam” or “no makeup-makeup” days
I love the butter bronzer, I think it will be my ride or die forever! I also loved most of the other products as well except the spray, I tried using it and had a really bad reaction to it but I have super sensitive skin. Your videos are so amazing, love watching them!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I used to wear makeup when I was young....I'm now old(er) lol and haven't worn it on a regular basis in decades. I needed some place to start as I was feeling overwhelmed with all the choices and...just so many *things*, I had no idea where to even begin...so I didn't. My best friend knows I'm wanting to start wearing makeup again and she sent me your video and it was *exactly* what I needed!! Thank you so much. Now I feel like I can get started again...at almost 50 lol. You're beautiful, BTW! Very glad I found your channel!
I watched this video for the first time quite a while back and really loved it. Lol now that I got the brush set that she mentioned and also have several of the same makeup products..I followed along with the tutorial. I absolutely LOVE the results I got!!! It’s so pretty, easy to accomplish and a gives you a very natural look. Thanks so much for this video, tutorial, product recommendations and tips Allie!!! 😊❤️
This is perfect! And you are sooo right about the tools- its easier to test makeup in the store and more fun to buy. Besides, for a beginner like me its Hard to know what products are worth investing in. So thank you😋
It's so relaxing watching you apply makeup, I learn a lot also, I am Africa American so I can not use the same colors as you but I love the same products. I appreciate that you don't find the need to always demonstrate with the latest trends, I hate those videos that feel like infomercials
I love that she lists EVERYTHING in the video bc sometimes you like the shirt she’s wearing or the color of the nails, but you don’t know what it is or where to find it.
You’re good at this. Loving this channel. I struggle with makeup application. And I’m 40+ African american and really appreciated your recommendation for deeper skin tones.
It’s so random, but one of my FAVORITE things about watching you is that you are the only person I watch who gets mascara on your lids as much as me 🤣 the authenticity of it just makes me smile lol
Even though I’ve been wearing makeup since I was 14 (I’m 28 now) I really want to give this a go. I really want to wear more natural makeup in my day to day life, so thank you so much for this video ❤️
Thank you so much for this video, Allie! This is so fantastic and useful. Not only did you provide good starter/basic products but you also provided tips, techniques, and advice for how to apply these products and why they are used. So amazing!
Now this is the exact video that I've been looking for! Thank you, thank you, thank you! The last time I wore make up, back in the day, there was no such thing as bronzers and contour- and then highlighters only came in yellow and pink and were used for study! lol ! I've got my skincare taken care of thanks to Dr Dray, but I have spent months watching makeup videos looking for a video just like this to help me get started again in this new crazy make up world! Luckily, I just happened to stumble upon and subscribe to you a few days ago. Our skin tone and eye color looks very similar, I'm just quite a few years older. Again, luckily, the years have been very kind to my skin, I think I'll just switch to that 3rd concealer that you mentioned for use under my eyes instead, unless you have a better suggestion. Any tips on finding you shade in the drugstore when you have nothing to go by? Where can one find testers?
Brina Blue if there aren’t testers I always try to find my shade comparing my skin to a youtuber that seems to have a shade similar to mine and also looking for swatches on google
So, so relatable, lol. I followed a "basic" everyday look. I couldn't stop laughing at how I looked 😂Way too over the top for my age range, imo. But I really needed something new, as I have done my makeup pretty much the same way for 20 years.
I would love for you to do another one of these! Drugstore only as well. But how cool would this be as a series? Or at least have three versions or maybe kits based on skin type? Never seen it before on UA-cam!
I’m so happy to see this! I just recently got into makeup and I’m still very “eeee omg what do I do?” with most of it, so this was very helpful. And thank you for including brushes. Most beginner tutorials don’t, which I totally understand, but I appreciated your using the brushes and explaining which brush went with what product/area.
I just started following you two months ago and I am a very big fan now! You are so honest and very into earth! I would like to see a tutorial on how to do your makeup when you go to the beach or a swimming pool party. I am going to take some vacations at the beach and would like to take cute pictures with some makeup on but not go too heavy with it because of the sun exposure and heat. Thank you!!
I just really love watching you do makeup. You have a similar skin tone as I do so I usually go by the shades you use too. & I also I’ve how you don’t usually do top liner. I have always had a hard time with liner and I feel like it’s not my thing. You’re the first you tuber I have seen that just lets the shadow go without the liner & it looks great!
I remember looking for videos like this cause I wanted to start out in makeup. Three years later I have way to much makeup and I free lance! I've come so far! Makeup is such a huge part of my life now, I just love it so much!
Thank you for this video. I appreciate you going over what a newbie needs. I don’t wear a lot of makeup usually, but feel like I am needing to start to wear it a little more as I am getting older. You look beautiful as always!
Can you do another version of this video for the next level make up users? Like with eyeshadows and more advance products ? I always love your drugstore recommendations! 💜
Hi Allie I signed up like three weeks ago. I was looking for Nyx cosmetics test. Now I am just so in love. The way that you explain, that you show... it put my make-up on the highest level. Thank you so much❤

Based on some skincare channels I watch, I'd skip the Mario Badescu fragranced colored water.
Omg same here dermatologist say its filled with junk ingredients. Instead try heritage store rosewater sold at ulta. Its literally Rose's and water and like $7/4oz and $10/8oz
Lindsey Jayle Hysell Bonge I have the heritage rose water with glycerin. It’s a straight up dupe for Mac fix+ and way better for your skin.
A.J. Does it help the makeup stay longer on the skin?
E L No, it doesn't contain alcohol, so it won't make your makeup last longer, but it is a really nice skincare spray. Plus, you can still use it on your eyeshadow brush to make shimmers look more foiled, and it does help melt your powder makeup into the skin. 💖
I have to agree with this. In my skincare groups, the Mario Badescu spray isn't regarded as a good product.
I love how you explained everything in this! So good for beginners!
Someone asked for this a couple days ago, and you already made and uploaded it! You’re actually the best
Skin Tint for the win! 😍😍💕💕The best!
When I’m feeling slightly overwhelmed by makeup in general, I always go back to this video to see that something that’s already in my makeup bag can spark as much joy as the newest launch. Love you so much Allie!
tati & you uploaded at same time, & i have chosen to watch you 😍
Even though I’m no longer a beginner, I love getting fool proof drugstore recommendations!
THAT IS WHAT MAKES ALLIE MY FAVORITE. She never fails to give the best drugstore tips!
I appreciate you saying not to worry about primers and to focus on skincare! Especially for all the young girls starting out with makeup.
I myself personally haven’t found a primer that helps with the longevity of my makeup vs my normal moisturizers.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how STUNNING your natural lashes are?? #lashgoals
I think it's about $15 at Ulta, so it's on the affordable side, too!
need an intermediate routine for sure!
@@michellerella88 I love that one and I have oily-combination skin. It has such a good finish. I heard about it from Tati and I loved how it looked on her skin and we have very similar skin types so I tried it and loved it.
nicola love that idea!!! 🎉
This seems like the perfect starter kit. So wonderful.
@@disgruntledmoderate5331 thank you! That will help a lot and I'll make sure to check them out.
Also check out Andrea Mattilliano! (I may have spelled her last name wrong) she is a cruelty free UA-camr who makes amazing videos 😍
I came to suggest Andrea Matilliano too! She’s fabulous! And only uses CF.
Also check out Porcelain and Sssamantha Ravandahl are CF!
I've watched you so much that I have most of these products already because of you! Yay! 🤩💛
Same here! 😆
I did this makeup with you and followed along (with the same type products just from different brands) The outcome is gorgeous glowy and natural looking. This is my new everyday look😍
You have the soul of a teacher, love the way you patiently explain each step for those who are inexperienced ❤️
I needed this so badly. I want to start wearing makeup again after not wearing any for 4 years
I'm being the opposite. I'm trying not to wear it so much. Let my skin breathe a little 😀 too much makeup ages you
I needed this mostly because I have never used makeup in this sense! Maybe only a mascara one day but nothing to this extent so I find it really helpful 😩🤩💖
Me too! I stopped wearing makeup when I had kids, just didn't have time. I never learned how to apply foundation properly
Honestly best video I've seen for beginner makeup, thank you!❤
Love that you talk about so much drugstore makeup... something I can afford!
Such a beautiful everyday look 😍 I’d love to see a cruelty-free version!! Thanks 🥰
Even if you're not a beginner, this is a beautiful look for a more natural every day look!
I appreciate you 👏
*This was a very useful video.*
Most makeup online nowadays is all about heavy cakeup & most people forget that *there are audience who are still getting started out.*
This was very detailed even with things where other influencers *expect to be common sense* (which brushes to use)
*So thank you!!*
Hello
I just discovered you a week ago, and I love you, you are one of my favorites. You and Tati. :D I love that you have a lot of videos with drugstore make up, and I really enjoy your videos.
RhaenysTarg Yes! Same. I love makeup but I’m a college student. I love watching people use products I could actually buy
That's such a fresh makeup look, though personally I don't have much love for lash paradise but absolutely love essence mascara or maybelline great lash
Love this, it’s perfect timing. I’ve been thinking about venturing into makeup but don’t know where to start. Reading the comments for recommendations too. 😜
How old are u?
Thank you so much for this simple, affordable and easy! Appreciate that a lot! Thanks Allie!💕
Thanks Allie! I’ve worn makeup for a year now but this is so helpful for everyone! It’s overwhelming at first because there’s so many products!
I love the butter bronzer, I think it will be my ride or die forever! I also loved most of the other products as well except the spray, I tried using it and had a really bad reaction to it but I have super sensitive skin. Your videos are so amazing, love watching them!
I just had surgery yesterday and Allie uploading makes me smile❤️❤️❤️
What kind of surgery did you have ? Hope you heal well !
@@tarashaon8206 Thank you! I had a cyst(9cm) removed from my ovary
Oh man that sucks :( my aunt just had an 8 lb cyst removed. And I had one a few months ago that just went away. Best wishes !
I hope you recover quickly.
@@judieloveday1643 thank u
That Mario badescu is one of the worst things for the skin it’s loaded with so much fragrance and essentials oils
Lucy Castaneda did u get that off hyram cuz I did 😂
Yea!Say yes to drugstore makeup!🥳I love drugstore makeup!😊
so many great affordable products
@@AdventuresWithCarissa Yes!!
You’re good at this. Loving this channel. I struggle with makeup application. And I’m 40+ African american and really appreciated your recommendation for deeper skin tones.
Hey Allie. Still waiting on that high end version of the "I tried your hidden Gems" video. Do you know when that should go up?
I think she already did that video
@@danf5184 what? I must have missed it because all I ever saw her upload was the drugstore version.
Me too!! I haven't seen it yet
Coming soon! I’m planning on posting that next week 💕😘
Thanks for the response Allie. You really cleared that up for me.
you seem like the kindest person ever, love to listen and watch your videos 🥰
It’s so random, but one of my FAVORITE things about watching you is that you are the only person I watch who gets mascara on your lids as much as me 🤣 the authenticity of it just makes me smile lol
Even though I’ve been wearing makeup since I was 14 (I’m 28 now) I really want to give this a go. I really want to wear more natural makeup in my day to day life, so thank you so much for this video ❤️
I have also used Sephora concealer in beige and Bare Minerals in light. They work very well, too. Very creamy formula. I love them both!! ❤
Thank you so much for this video, Allie! This is so fantastic and useful. Not only did you provide good starter/basic products but you also provided tips, techniques, and advice for how to apply these products and why they are used. So amazing!
Allie keeps it real! Most people can’t afford all high end products!! Thank you Allie!!
Never seen it before on UA-cam!
me: * has been wearing makeup for the past 6272 years *
also me: oooh allie has a "makeup for beginners" video! lemme watch it!!
😆💕
Same
Right? Lol😜😄😁
It's so funny how I now say, "let's assess the situation, *applies more bronzer* good!” You’re literally in my daily life! I love you 💕
I love watching makeup videos, but for some reason yours just resonate differently. I'm so so happy I stumbled across your channel.
Hi Allie
I signed up like three weeks ago. I was looking for Nyx cosmetics test. Now I am just so in love. The way that you explain, that you show... it put my make-up on the highest level. Thank you so much❤
I love how natural it looks and I love the way the video looks, everything is so fresh!!
Your skin looks amazing Allie😍Just love how it looks😇
This is such a helpful video for people new makeup. Brows and mascara are a must for me too.
I don't wear very much makeup at all, just eyeliner and mascara but I've enjoyed your videos so much.
Thank you for this beginner's kit! Maybe I'll actually conquer adding face makeup!
