I urge everyone to really research Lancaster county before you even think about it! It's for the poverty, crime, half the people don't even graduate from high school, on and on. Houses may be cheaper but you'll sacrifice community.
Yes, please do your research before moving anywhere. And to be fair, just about every county in NC and SC has it's "good" and "bad" parts of it.. Lancaster County also has Indian Land SC and there are major things (in a good way) happening in Indian Land SC.

My range is 400k looking to move July 2023 .Hoping for lots of inventory by then . I hate commuting and will have to commute to uptown 2x a week and will worship in clanton park 2x weekly .. I would ideally like to live in the city ..plaza midwood ,, noda ,,cherry ..Elizabeth ..am I being unrealistic for my. Price range? I just hate commuting ,,I’ve been told to consider mt holly ,,Steele creek,, for good commute to my locations
Helo Cris, it depends on what you're expecting at the price in your preferred areas of Charlotte. If you're expecting an updated beautiful newer place, then yes, you're not being realistic.
