This is serious...alot of people wouldn't think that there are fathers who are single parents also. The focus is always on women. My brother was a single parent for a year and it was a challenge for him, unfortunately he died with covid last year, so my mother takes care of my nephew now. Thank u for highlighting this.
I'd like to say, keep your chin up, look at life as it should be and remember tomorrow is another day. I'm a single lone parent farther with three daughters and have been for 10 years now, since my youngest was 4 years old. Due to the way current systems work there's been a few added strains but nothing that could be overcome or overlooked. One thing is for sure, if I could do it all again, I wouldn't change a thing! Whomever said "mother's know best" is probably a bitter mother or a lazy farther. It's easy! Just love your babies/daughters/sons, take each day as it comes and all will be ok. I've no family local, I've only taken financial help that's been allocated by the system. Why pay a child minder via government grants to raise your child when you can do it yourself. They're all now older, happy, and intelligent. To any mother's and father's, coupled or single, remember your sole purpose in life is your kids and they don't need money or education, they just need love, common sense and intellect. I am a single-parent dad. Without support from my family I would not have made it to this point. There is still a ways to go yet.
