- During Mr Bat's funeral I missed the opportunity to pay tribute to Mr Bat. After the funeral I gave a copy of my speech to Mr Bat's elder daughter, Karen. As fate would have it, Karen spoke to the hostess who was gracious enough to spare me a couple moments to say goodbye to my dear friend. My wife Kimberly captured the moment.
PS: Mr Bat's daughters asked me to share this speech.
Mr Bat's lifestyle was simple It showed those viewing that you can survive in life if you are prepared to work hard.
Mr Bat was old school, proud, industrious with a big big heart
Looking at the lifestyle of Mr Bat and Farmer Harry reminds me so much of my Tacarigua community when caring and giving was the norm .
Please Lyndon continue to showcase the best that Trinidad can offer.
Watching your shorts here in London transports me to Tacarigua, Caura,the best market in the world and our local market Tunapuna market.On cold wintry days it connects me to Tacarigua.
God rest the soul of Mr Bat and grant him everlasting life
I looked at the funeral "LIVE", but, like "something" was missing. Not realising I just needed to hear Lyndon speak. THANK YOU LYNDON, for that moving, heart-felt contribution!!!.

I'm a Jamaican who followed and enjoyed your episodes of Mr. Bat and Harry. Country life in Trinidad is so similar to country life in Jamaica so I shared them with a few friends. Was shocked when I searched and saw a funeral. He will be sadly missed. Please pass on my condolences to Mr. Bat's family and Harry. Keep the work going.
This is how Mr.Bat would like to be remembered a quiet man who did his part in shaping the lives of many just by his awesome presence and leading by example, practical life lessons, and a clean and loving spirit.
Mr Bat was not only a good man but a great man who truly embodied kindness and giving.His intentions were always pure.We had great moments together where he expounded great wisdom about life and overcoming adversities through the power of love and unity.This quality of humanity is what the country and by extention the world needs right now where under poor leadership there is is division.Let us as a people honor Mr. Bat by embodying the principles he lived by.Let us set a foundation for a better future .Let us not search for a light but become the light at the end of the tunnel.Mr.Bat is alive in our hearts forever.

Thank you for sharing. I had never met him but his passing has touched me because I felt I knew him. The very first video I watched I'd commented that they reminded me of my late grandfather and his stories. His passing feels the same. A great soul has left us. May he find eternal rest and peace in the afterlife.

Several of you have asked for Farmer Harry. Mr Bat's passing is a big blow to us, it's a big blow to him. You may have missed him at the funeral but he was there, sitting in the front row with Mr Bat's family. It's important to his family that you all know this. After the funeral, he, Kimberly and I visited with Mr Bat's family and then we parted ways. I look forward to seeing him sometime in the future.

Thank you for sharing Mr Baptiste. As a Muslim I believe in Qadr…..destiny. Nothing is by accident, it was written that you and Mr Bat had to meet that day. You needed something from him to find yr true self and he needed to share his stories. His family is blessed to have all your interactions captured in video. His legacy will live on. I agree, as a Trinidadian living outside, he reminded me of longtime, of my father and his love for planting is also a love I share.. We were all blessed to know him for a short space in time …for me and longer for his family. He lived a good life to the end. Truly a blessing!

... I've been living in the US for over 44 years. I came across a Lyndon's video seeing a pic of Mr Bat and like a divine encounter I was drawn to it or should I say to 'them". They came at a moment when I was reminiscing of the times living in Trini in an environment like that of Mr Bat. "Beautiful and Sweet, Natural and Educational, Relaxing and Soothing, the Plants and the Streams, the Bamboo and the Dreams, the Whistling Birds and His Wise Words. I can go on and on describing my feelings while viewing videos of Mr. Bat because he touched me. Family - Mr Bat served a great purpose in my life through Lyndon's videos which many others have testified about the same in their lives also. A stranger but I understood him well in such a short time in my life. His role was majestic. -PeAcE.-

I wish I had known of this guy before his passing so I would visit him. unfortunately I only found out after his passing . while scrolling through Facebook. and saw comments of the UA-cam page. I immediately started looking up the videos . rest in peace Mr Bats. I hope Farmer Harry is doing fine . hope to visit him sometime ❤

As this is a public forum, I shall be brief. In my research of Mr. Bat, I was able to track down Shiplist Records of Mr. Bat's family from Calcutta in 1899. Mr. Bat came from Noble Lineage hence his physical constitution and intellectual acuity. Mr. Bat's surname or last name in HINDI means "HOLY SONG". Mr. Bat was a far greater human being than that which met the eye "Inside Caura".
I'm reading this one year later...indeed, Mr. Bat was someone I wish I could have met ❣️

I watched the live stream of the funeral; now that you have shared with us the intimate time you had with his family and being able to say goodbye to Mr. Bat; I now feel that his funeral service is complete.
