Facts
When I was first introduced to him in his DLC, I didn't like him one bit. Of course I thought of him as a meat head because he was shouting, blowing shit up, and just sounded annoying. Then he said this line and my respect for him went from nothing to through the roof.

Side note on Grandma Flexington, she is confirmed to be a Siren. After Commandant Steele died, her powers transferred to Grandma Flexington, but she flexed so hard, she lost her powers.

Torgue is one of those characters where every line is written and executed perfectly and I just can't get enough of him, he's hilarious

If they did that and made that $17 (12+5), that'd be the greatest move.
Mr Torgue has a kid and they become a vault hunter and that's who we get to play as.

They're not necessarily characters, but history of the corporations would be cool, especially atlas being closed down and built back up

You can get Hyperion's Corporate History from the Hyperion Hall in TPS. You may have to eliminate all of the enemies in the vicinity first so you have some peace and quiet for your in-game history lessons.
Still one of the most wholesome characters over all
A couple things to note:
1: The reason Mr. Torgue hated lasers is because they couldn't have the explosion element, a problem he manages to rectify by Borderlands 3 with the Torgue-brand Laser-Sploder. Probably a project that was already in the works before he was kicked out of his company.
2: When he does get kicked out, he says he'll just work for Moxxi "pro-boner." The Slaughter arenas in 3 are probably branches she owns that she let's Mr. Torgue run.
Considering Moxxi is business savy (and not untalented in the engineering department) teaming up with a PR hypeman (who is really good with engineering explosives) like Mr. Torgue was in all honesty a good move
The Laser Sploder is probably my favorite callback to the presequel (but the laser shoots weird so I don’t like using it)

You forgot to mention that at some point between 2 and 3, he got into making explosive foods. He made a breakfast cereal which you can find boxes of, and if you melee them, you hear an electric guitar riff and some of the cereal bits fall out and fizzle in a series of tiny explosions. In Handsome Jackpot, you're given a side challenge to destroy some explosive hot sauce bottles to prevent a lawsuit.

I love how there’s some side quests where you just have to listen to grandma flexington tell you stories. They are actually pretty interesting, so long as you have like 20-25 minutes to spare.

Not going to lie, this guy did leave out important details about Mr.Torgue as there is important info like how he acquired a Maliwan Dreadnaught for a slaughterhouse and how you are tasked with destroying various hot sauce in Moxxie's big score DLC, which confirms that he still owns the Torgue corporation.
Who else listened through Grandma Flexington’s stories and loved it?
Mr torgue and handsome jack are the only 2 characters that make me laugh again when I replay bl2 and the presequel. They were just too perfect.

In most media, they make gay characters overly flamboyant and straight characters hyper masculine, bisexual characters mostly as female. But then you got mr torge being hyper masculine, but is attracted to both sexs, which breaks the mold.

I always thought it was super weird that they threw in tidbits like Torgue and Axton being Bisexual or Maya being Asexual just out of nowhere but looking back I gotta say that they were really just ahead of the game.
Really gotta hand it to Gearbox, they’ve always been good at representation.
@@katchupmachined1914 So from what I've read, Maya is the only one they just kind of thrown in as asexual. The reason for that is they had a fan or a developers family member mentioned there were no asexual characters in gaming, so the developers made Maya canonically asexual since she was the only one of the main cast that had yet to express any specific sexual desires.
Acton actually was originally planned to be a straight character. However when borderlands 2 released it was discovered that one of his voice lines was bugged. It was supposed to be a flirty line he only says when resurrecting downed female vault hunters. However due to the bug it played for all of the vault hunters. Instead of patching it they decided to just roll with it and have Axton confirm Axton's bisexuality in bunkers and badasses.
For Mr. Torgue the only in game evidence was a supposed line he says when you talk to him while he's in the gallows in the bunkers and badasses dlc stating he likes anyone (or something along those lines) however I've never experienced that line myself.
