Yep, I left optima batteries alone after they moved to MX and the quality began to suffer. That’s why Costco dropped them..

Why do we have complaints about four cylinder mode? Manufacturers still using technology. Not just GM. And it's covered under warranty.
Personally, I can feel the transition constantly and I just don’t like it. I can afford 93 octane, and I don’t care about fuel economy. Just my opinion.
I think the carbon flash decal look better since it matches the carbon flash accents on the car.. but thats my personal opinion though. Btw do you have any TPMS errors while the driving during the night with the led on? Bought some from ebay for $150. Left front comes on after 15 min of driving and it’s annoying.
Thanks! I like the carbon look also and it allowed me to kinda make the car my own. I haven’t had any codes of any kind with the car and no tire pressure lights.
Range Technology AFM/DFM Disabler It is suggested the device be unplugged if the vehicle is not being driven daily or left for a few days. There may be a power draw on the battery in some applications
Yes, I don’t seem to have any problems with it very often. I leave it in all the time and during the winter I have the battery on a trickle charger anyway. Never had dead battery problems with it in.
Does that carplay adapter only work with Apple or can it also work with Android? Beautiful car 🎉
I don’t know anything about Android phones, but that is an actual Apple mag charger product.

I think decals are dealer installed. My racing stripes are on perfect. 4 for 4 on bent wheels @ 3900 miles. Mono bloc replicas of same wheels as yours.

Hey let me get those tire sizes.. I have a 2019 GranSport the tires are horrible
Fronts are 285/30R19
Rears are 335/25R20
I also have the Range!
I put these on and had to take them off, because it does not work when you install Morimoto Headlights and Rear lights, the passenger side lights goes out, not good, i stuck with them!!!!
Good to know, thanks. I hadn’t planned on swapping the front and rear lights, but after putting the Morimoto’s on my son’s C6, I’ve been thinking about it.

New subscriber, cool tray for the hidden compartment. Like those LED side markers too. Definitely saving this video for my future C7. I’m a few years away from getting one. Will be a 2017 or later Stingray Non Z51 7 speed manual w mag ride.
Re: cylinder deactivation, I read it’s not good to keep something plugged into the OBD 2 port all the time. Have you had any issues with that plugged in ?
No issues at all with the module plugged in.

Just turned over 30k miles
I also ran Dakota Digital cruise control in my 69 with an LS3 swap that ran out of the OBD2 port also. No problems with that car either.

Where did you get the Apple car play adapter? I have a 14 c7 corvette and it saddens me not having Apple car play lol
I got it from a company called CPLAY2air. But Corvettes didn’t get Apple Car play until 2016.
@@C3Mods oh I though you had found a cheaper way to do it. I have a 14 Silverado too and I put Apple car play in it by upgrading the module behind the dash. It cost me like 400 I thought you had found a cheaper shortcut lol
@@Guero_c7 Yeah, it’s just a $125 module that plugs into the usb and tricks the car into thinking the phone is plugged in.
The 14-19 C7s came with AppleCar Play but it’s wired, not wireless.

@@C3Mods Put a black tape over it. I put the carpet side of a velcro tape on it.
I keep condoms in there because the Vette gets them wet.

No. Please educate me. I didn’t even know they were available for conventional autos.
Yes they make them But they are VERY expensive. I've seen a few UA-camrs use them. And I've though about it for how lite they are and the ablity to moun them any way you want. But but with a 600-1000$ price tag...... I haven't pulled the trigger yet. Search Antigravity Batteries, they have some for 14-20 vettes.

Is cylinder deactivation bad?
It’s the factory’s way of complying with federal emission standards. I don’t like my car constantly underpowered and over time I believe it is hard on engine and transmission parts. I don’t think it’s bad, per say, but why drive a 500jp car with it? My mileage hasn’t changed at all without it on road trips anyway.
Do you have more information on the cylinder deactivation device? Like where exactly to get it.
It can ruin your engine when it gets the valves out of sync, if you start to hear a valve rattle on it going in and out , get a module that shuts it off. I’d did it and mpg didn’t change

@@C3Mods No, I’m about to buy a 2017 Grand Sport but have been a bit skeptical due to reports that they crack. I’m aware of the pending lawsuit and wondered your experience.

@@orlandodixon3189 Ok. Well the GS is an awesome car. A set of new or aftermarket rims is a small price for a great car. I wouldn’t base my purchase based on that. I did, however choose the GS over the Z06 based on the lawsuit for engine problems. That’s a lot more costly than a set of rims. I plan on running the new rims with sticky summer tires and will run the factory rims with my all seasons on them in the fall and winter.
