Sounds like the problem may have been created when the battery was replaced. It may be a logic board issue. We'd recommend going back to the place that replaced the battery and seeing if they'll take a second look and fix the problem.
what worked for me : i have a brand new iphone 7 plus on ios 13.6 . 1. give it a good punch where your display logic board lays . 2. RESET ALL SETTINGS (go to settings , go to general , scroll down to reset, reset all content and settings ) . this worked for me after i tried almost everything . 3. hard reset your iphone by pressing the power button and volume down button at the same time for 7 seconds . 4. if those do not work it is highly suggested to go to a phone repair shop because the problem could be inside the phone and you could possibly lose your touchscreen ability all together .
If your phone is hot it will do odd things. Don’t let it get hot in the sun. That’s negligence on your part as it has a battery inside that could destroy the handset

A few months ago my phone fell really hard and broke so I took it to the repair and after that my phone started glitching and I took out the case and it worked for a bit. The problem is the glitching is only on the right side of the screen I don’t know why but if I press or hold the right side it would just got crazy but only sometimes.
Awesome video and advice. My phone XR screen was replaced and it was ghosting really bad and I could not use it. I attempted the soft and hard resets without success. I took it back to the screen repair shop and they installed another screen and still had the same thing happen. Watched this video and removed the case and immediately my phone stopped ghosting. I looked closer and found that the case was actually putting pressure on the screen which in turn was causing the ghosting issues. Case removed and issue resolved!

I tried to turn it on and the bottom part of the screen was black with horizontal purple and orange lines flickering and getting longer. Then I tried to screenshot but the whole screen started having vertical white lines flickering. After a few seconds, the screen turned off and the phone restarted on its own. Also, it made some weird sound while the flickering was happening. Please help me I really don’t want it to happen again. Thanks
