I'm calling bs on the sound leakage, the secure seal results in decent noise cancellation. The power button is indented so you don't accidentally turn it on & off! And the multifunction button separate from the volume makes perfect sense also. Not impressed by this review!
Yeah these are made almost specifically as an answer for the Nintendo switch or for those who play console and want to play music/use discord from their phone to their headset while still being able to hear game audio. For this purpose these are really good. They are still a bit to pricey but if the price isn't an issue, they are the best solution for this on the market right now.
Ruben Diaz for ps4? Because what this man wants to tell us is that if u just want to use it for gaming ur better off with the alpha. But the mix has hi res audio which the alpha doesnt have. What do you think? I only want to use it for ps4.
Finally, someone with the answer. To hear that mix sounds better than alpha may justify the price of mix.. Also , what about comfort wise ? Mix is better on comfort and they are lighter than alpha? And how's the sound via Bluetooth on mobile for listening music , watching tv shows ? Thanks for the help
@Shannara Lord thanks for the reply. My ears are ok like normal human sized maybe ? Do the ears fit inside cups perfectly? And how the sound through Bluetooth ? I'm assuming there won't be any lag on that price ( even my 20$ or less headset doesn't have any lag on Bluetooth ) but any difference on sound when wired and wireless ? I don't know anything about the codec you mentioned , I'll just be using it wired for PC and wireless Bluetooth for mobile. Thanks for the recommendation. I hope the headphones have solid build to survive 3-4 years. I'll be waiting for Black Friday for reduced price. 200$ is way too far,but it might be worth it ?
the V-Moda BoomPro sound quality is incredible! it's even beating ModMic in every aspect! If they just make ModMic can be plugged directly to the ditchable mic port of any headset that have ditchable mic! Cooler Master MH630 is the King of Headsets of 2020! I have HyperX Cloud Mix, I love it! but after suffering from the low mic audio for a long time I found it comes with a defect mic! so whom suffering from this issue it's a mic defect you should replace the mic under the warranty before it ends like what happened to me!.
Alex Hajal they're still comfy id say after 3-4 hours my ears would hurt a lil but not to badly but overall I'm still using em to listen to music at work and also look on hyperx site and buy a carrying case
I do not recommend any turtle beach headsets I used to own 420x+ and the battery failed and sounded terrible compared to my cloud alphas and my brothers turtle beaches also failed and the battery won’t even hold a charge or even work when plugged in
Okay I have a very nice Bluetooth speaker system that I choose to Bluetooth to my gaming computer now if I Bluetooth these headphones to the gaming computer can they be used for gaming with the Bluetooth connectivity and will the mic work using Bluetooth while gaming? (The boom mic)
AT $100 I say the steelseries arctis 3 bluetooth is much better. You have the option to use Bluetooth and wired at the same time. Though, they don't have a larger range of freq response.
These allow you to be wired in and use Bluetooth at the same time as well. The artics threes are a good solution to the Nintendo Switch issue, but these are a lot better since they have hi-res audio that doesn't drop quality when connected to comms like discord. I don't know that they're a hundred dollars better but they are overall a better solution to connecting to 2 devices at once.
It would also seem that the arctis 3 bluetooth is made of plastic and (according to some reviews) is less comfortable than Hyper x cloud counterparts. the arctis also doesn't look like it'll hold up against the test of time with it's single connection to its ear cups. They're also obviously designed to wear in public as I see them as too blatantly symbolization bulky gaming headphones. I don't agree with the $200 price tag, but so far it seems to be the only one of its kind in this category.
Extremely uncomfortable, demands your PC have a built in Bluetooth or you can only use headphone jacks, sound is miniscule at 100% it's volume is like my 40$ pair's from 8 years ago at 30%. Broke my mother's heart having to return this after she put so much effort into searching for it and paid so much for it, will never use this brand again and returning it today.
Honestly, the only problem with the Alpha is that there isn't enough space for my ears to fit into the cup and my ears hit the driver and overall the whole thing is uncomfortable.
@@kingyunta7866 soooooo many people are having this issue with the Alpha, the high clamp force with the soft pads make your ears sink in the pads and eventually touching the hard plastic which feels extremely painful.
The Alphas would hurt my ear after an hour of use for the first few weeks. Now I can wear them for several hours without any discomfort whatsoever and are the comfiest headphones I own. So I believe people when they say its uncomfortable.
Cloud mix: most expensive headphones in line up
Orbit S: hold my beer
you need to plug in the cable to use the boom-mic. otherwise you can only use the build in mic. absolute dealbreaker
this has to be top comment!
Honestly like, HAVE U HEARD THE BUILT IN, it might actually be better lol
THIS is what I was looking for, thank you!
it also sounds like shit when in blue tooth on PC you can't use stereo and only mono which sounds dogshit
The wired mode just fucked itself in the ass this is absolute dogshit for 200 bucks come on man

but I think they do not do both bluetooth audios at same time.. can be connected to only one device at a time.
Sid is right
do you know if these can be connected to the xbox and be on bluetooth listening to music at the same time
Listening to this review with this headset. I like how its loud at max volume when wired.
The Dark Side the mix one?
Yeah. It works great. Wouldn't recommend turning it all the way up if you have sensitive ears. Especially on mobile.
I own these headsets and they sound better than cloud alphas. I owned the alphas before and are amazing as well. But these are deff the next step up

Idk man. I love my cloud alphas. Now being able to connect the same way (wired) with great sound! Then now having blutooth?! All day!
For the price of this cloud mix you can buy the Cloud Alpha and the Sony MDRXB950N1👍, great video.
Hah I got them for 150 on a sale and I'm enjoying them lots sound quality is pretty nice
i would go for cloud alpha but i just want an all black version..
First also wondering if the jbl e65bts are better or worse than the skull candy venue
I just bought these today!! Why do they sound muffled tho?? Someone please help..
Big question so when the headphones dies can I still plug it in my controller ?
Dough Boy_517 yes, you dont need battery life for wired, only when Bluetooth
Lorenzo thanks for the help but I already tested out with my pair

siddarth ravuri but this one has hi res audio.

Its same sound if i compare with hyperx cloud 2 with 3.5m cable on pc ?
Why does it hurt the top of my head? The paddings don't help. It flattens my hair so much compared to other headphones.
These are currently a best buy exclusive and are not on Amazon
Does it have a mic mute button on the headset itself?
is there a difference between the cloud flight and the cloud mix?
Yes. These can connect to a device through Bluetooth, and be wired in to a different device at the same time.
Cloud flights are also noise isolating but lack the dual chamber drivers. They work through a usb dongle.
Flight is wireless with a usb dongle, mix is Bluetooth
Cloud mix or arctis 7?

zakarias öhman Ive never seen them before :(
Yea they're cool

Why is it that when I plug my headset into my PC, I get a high pitch screeching sound on the right side, and very cruddy audio from everything else?
Probably cuz of the motherboard
