Andres Morando I want to be prepared as well as I can for training so is there something I can do before starting to memorize or study ? Is there a website that has things I can study that would make training go a little smoother? Preparation is very important to me. Just memorize the menu? Surly there is something that can be studied prior to training?
This video was not only informative for my Starbucks interview but I think I'll probably keep using these tips for the rest of my life!!! Thank you so much!
do you have to know a manager to get an interview (because that is what I believe, I apply and put 24/7 availabilities and still no one calls me after i apply online)? My main difficulty is just getting that interview, I believe I can pass the interview because I studied myself and the interview process, but I cant get a job without getting the interview. Please give tips and a video on how to get the interview mostly. Thanks
You should watch LDBeautie 's video about Starbucks employment. Networking helps but I don't think it's necessary if you are interesting by yourself enough!
It helps to go into the store in person, dressed well, and ask to speak to the manager. That's how I've gotten all of my jobs. Sending in an app online isn't enough, they want to see your face. Your chances of getting hired are much greater.
heyyy :) so I applied last week and went into the store four days later to see if I could speak to a hiring or store manager but I only spoke to the shift manager. I gave him my resume and left but still haven't heard anything :/ is it too annoying to call and ask for the hiring manager to see if I can speak to him directly and give him my resume? Also keep in mind that I'm 16 and have no prior work experience so I don't really have much to go off of. I just really want this job and don't know what to do. :(
I just got an interview at my local Starbucks. Are they going to ask me questions about specific scenarios? And if so, how can I prepare myself? I'm extremely nervous.
I walked in and the manager told me that right now she's looking at applications and I have to wait for a call, that's what they all say though so you think I should walk in again? I feel like that would make me seem more serious about the job but annoying at the same time, any tips? Plus now that she saw me, if I go again I hope that boosts my chance of getting hired
You should give the store a call, but only once. If the manager can't talk leave your name and number. If you do speak to them be cheerful and friendly and show them you are interested in the job. Most times this works. Did you get the job?
thanks for the help Micheal, just got hired at my local Starbucks in Lemon Grove!
