Mine arrived on the 19th and been using it since then. Solid phone and loving the flat screen. The fast charging is absolutely ridiculous. Negates the need for wireless charging. Anxious to see what the 9 Pro and eventually 9t Pro have to offer to address some of the shortcomings of the 8 series. I still think the 7t Pro is the pinnacle of a OnePlus device.

The battery being worn out because of fast charging is not true. 8T has 2 batteries, each one of 2300mAh, and it is charging them in parallel. The brick supplies 10v with 6,5A but each battery charges with 5V x 6,5A, but being two small batteries charging in parallel, of course it is faster. But regarding charging and battery being damaged, there is nothing different than any phone which can charge with 5V x 6,5A (~30W)
@@DroidModderX Actually, To be honest Sometimes Pop-up cam isn't a good option. Whenever phone by mistakely falls, it may Damage the alignment of it and then you're forced not to open again until you go to service center🙃

I picked it because I don't like any cut outs in my screen for a feature that I never use. But what did actually fail was my screen, when it fell several times.

why are you turning your phone like that when scanning fingerprint? the point is to move finger, to scan fingerprint from different angles, not the phone xD
Among us used to crash for me too but then I realized it's because they couldn't load ads on the phone, so I paid the 2.99 to get rid of ads and it's been a week since it's crashed
8t for pubg. Flat display and better touch feedback. (8 pro has curved panel so it might have some touch latency issue) I own the 8t, it's a very advanced phone without any flaws.

@@egcozinon True, I tested my phone switching between 720p, 1080p and 1440p. After like 5 minutes you don't realise any difference. But with 720p the battery life is crazy.
Still helpful but Ringtone capability is one of the first things I look for in a phone, and you just shrugged past it. So I'm not giving you a thumbs up.
It's like Pixel, Samsung, and Apple had a "relationship" and this was the result. I'm thoroughly satisfied 😃

I still love my 8T! I don't mind the ColorOS merge as long as it's still good (and it is in my opinion, at least when coming from EMUI)

If you turn on the refresh rate in developer options, then you will see which app is using what refresh rate..
