Space blankets make a good signal device for emergency services to locate you, as they usually have a gold or silver surface, which is highly reflective.
There are things called tough phones. As an example, the Specs for a Nokia XR21:
IP68/IP69K dust/water resistant (up to 1.5m for 60 min)
Drop-to-concrete resistance from up to 1.8m
MIL-STD-810H compliant

On hot days I freeze the bladder and can add room temperature water as i go and have cold water all day
