I'd take Avant over any Tesla, regardless of the fact that Teslas are superior in terms of performance and range. And that's a good thing, because competition is always good for the customer.
Completely agree. 0-60 and fart noises are not top of my list.

Thank you for helping out the inferior competition, hope they do catch up somewhat but if not, please continue paying for inferior competition. It helps with diversity.
Give it a few more years and Tesla won't have that range advantage. Li and Na based battery technology seems to be making rapid advances and corporations like VAG and Daimler have their fingers in a few pies. Na advances should hopefully make EVs affordable and Li should bring about vastly improved range.
Though, even with that said, Tesla shouldn't be underestimated as a technology company even if they lose their car edge.

Whereas BMW is losing it completely when it comes to new EV model design (think IX), Audi is knocking it out of the park. Lovely designs.

@@emze563 Hey I'm all for brands experimenting, but I don't see the problem with keeping to your roots too. I'd rather see a boring car than a ugly one. Props to BMW for experimenting, but look poop unlike their older models. Audi on the other hand, has less innovation you could say, but you don't need to reinvent the wheel for something to look good. There's a reason the F40 and the e type are regarded as beautiful cars while the iX is not

Unlike BMW, AUDI is killing it in the styling of their new models, these are gorgeous if a car can be described as such ♥️
BMW is trying too hard to be controversial. While doing so they forget to make beautiful cars

EV-wise I agree. But, honestly, Audi's ICE vehicles look awfuI imo. BMW looks way better to me, because they don't just recycle the same design from the early 2000s.

I find Audi's styling rather bland. BMW's are plain ugly though
Audi and estate really gel together.

Looking at that estate gives me the same kind of tingles that i got when i first bought a cell phone back in 2003
Looks like an updated Ford Mondeo estate, not a bad thing given the SUV craze.
Audi killing it in the design department
Audi's design is so perfect. Aggressive, elegant, manly, stylish, futuristic, and always feels like an Audi. BMW's new designs are horrendous in comparrison.

Yes bro taycan cross turismo as well as sport turismo both are estate cars
It’s debatable. The Taycan Turismo variants certainly offer improved cargo space over the saloon version especially as the rear seats fold down, but I would argue that the roofline on the Turismo is so aggressively sloped as to make it more of a hatchback. This is made even more so by the fact that the wheel arches encroach on the cargo space, giving you a narrow, high-lipped, low-height cargo area. Not really an estate in my book. But you could argue that it is, and in fairness the old categories of body styles are becoming so blurred now.
Well Porsche considers it as a Cross over more than an estate
That's why the name is literally "Cross" Turismo

Audi has got the looks on point the design language is incredible it feels electric and futuristic but without being over the top

First time I've wanted an A6! I hope they don't blow it by dumbing it down too much for production. And very few will buy it at the crazy prices of the e-tron GT - its gotta be a near mainstream car.
Has to be or they wouldn't call it A6. They could have called it A7 for the sportback but they chose to make it an A6 so it'd be stupid if it's more expensive than an A7... Unless they choose to keep the model naming scheme and make the sportback the 7 and the avant the A6.

I love the design EXCEPT that rising belt line on the avant. I hate when beltlines rise which Audi very rarely does. It takes away from the window space. It’d be nice if they kept that straight.

Batteries are probably taking up alot of space down there, raises the whole cabin which raises belt lines for crash safety.

Wagons can look very good, as long as the rear doesn't stretch too far beyond beyond the wheels, I wish we had more of them here in Canada. But I guess some people here are traumatised by the school bus proportions of older american models...

Same here Audi's regular cars are awfully dull and sometimes quite pretentious imo. Their EV's are another story tho, this looks great!
I love the look from a drivers POV but with kids sitting in the back, the rising belt line makes the visibility out very limited.

The Audi A6 avant e-tron is one of my personal favourites
How come you don't show the car even once from the side ?
Now nobody can see the proportions and check out whether the frontal overhang fits to the car.
Projecting light down as turn signal or other reason sounds cool until you realize it's quite dumb: On a rainy day, any projected light on puddles could redirect that light right onto incoming trafic.
Also, again, wish they'd changed the product line name because in French, it just spells «t-urd».
Say if you use the projection indicators or whatever it's called. If I'm in a car sitting at a roundabout or junction and see an a6 avant e tron indicating with projectors then how do I know which way they are going if there's a car next to them? Especially if it's a yellow car.
I hope Audi don't make the mistake of not producing these cars. So far best looking EV's.

The sedan is literally right next to the Avant, which in this case, the former happens to be a Sportback.
Audi is the king of auto design, no debate on that.

The problem with these German electrics is that they style and price their electric vehicles like they are unattainable. Tesla has a more approachable look and price tag.
The Avant is epic, once you get ranges over 400 miles then you know you’ll get 300 miles with it on the motorway. I think thats good enough for most people, me included. The grill is too big for my eyes but if it’s the same colour as the bodywork it won’t look too bad.

If these get made and you're in the market for a premium wagon/estate or saloon, jolly well go and buy them to send the signal to Audi and other brands, that there is strong demand for such vehicles. Then they will continue to make more of them, praising Audi on for making wagons and making noise on social media in general, is not enough.
