However, while explaning the maps or data kindly try to visually focus on the points that you are explaning verbally, like while explaning the hazardous part in purple,rest could have been blurred out to make the viewers relate the verbal points with the data or map on their screens.

Only thing is, Our Formers need to change the crop selection habit instead of following the same trend all the times... Mostly Industrial air and water waste is one of most intense problem which no ones take care, Covid Era did this automatically and that reflected in river/water bodies and even air quality.

Sir I am happy to read your comment because there are no person in pakistan who speak on such important topic with bold voice But it is very disappointing that this topic is taboo in our country. The religious and political forces are totally against population control This is very cruel reality of our country that they want unlimited slaves and consumer for market and their lust for power and capitalism is horrific like a Hell If population is not checked than all effort to combat ecological and economic problems will fall flat Our population is existential threat for the environment and country
Mesha ji, crop burning is a tradition that has been carried out for centuries, but why then was there no smog in yesteryears. Obviously, the main causes lie elsewhere. You highlighted and overemphasized the contribution of crop burning which is what we are being led to believe. However, nobody is talking about the quality of oil/ petrol that is being imported into the country or being smuggled from Iran. The substandard import of fuel for use in all our vehicles is an important factor that is never brought out in studies. Similarly Pakistan, and Lahore in particular, is the world capital of two-stroke engines used in motorbikes and rickshaws. Such primitive technology is banned elsewhere in the world. Then there are no laws or regulations governing vehicular emissions testing and just as one cannot drive without a driving licence, there should be the law that no vehicle should ply on the road without its engine emissions test certification. Coal based power generation has been banned throughout the world, but we have recently set up a coal based plant in Sahiwal. At least this plant should be shut down during the sensitive months. Urban steel mills on Ring road are operating without any checks, whereas schools, Malls and restaurants are being asked to close their businesses even though they are not directly responsible for any pollution, It is poor and unscientific policy which is mostly to blame for this situation getting out of hand. It is correct that emission standards need to be set in pakistan but 2 stroke engine and coal based power plants are not banned in the world as you say. Also traditions like crop burning have brought climate change to this point so traditions that hurt us need to be banned instead.
