Xal'atath once said "I know the naaru consider us horrors to be resisted. We do not share this view. They are merely beloved brethren that lost the true path. They will return to their masters... in time." I don't believe Xal'atath was a naaru or had any direct connection to the Light, but she may be the same kind of being that the naaru were before Elune transformed them.
Snowflakes are made with 6 points. ❄️ Order isn’t true order without balance. Absolute order is restricting and Extreme Chaos is destruction. A balance between Order and Chaos is the best place to be. Not every snowflake is the same despite having 6 points. A balance of Order and Chaos.
Interesting fractal with the 'you cannot kill me'. Xalatath could be the fallen pillar and that pillar could be Hope. I seem to remember a certain Old Soldier saying something about that at one point.🤔
Eh, outside of people saying "you cannot kill hope" I don't personally see any other connection with Xal and hope. If that is the case, she's got a funny way of expressing her domain, what with the city explosion and pushing kinslaying and conflict. Weirder things have happened 🤷🏻♂️ Truth fits a bit better, since truth can also not be truly killed and it's also a bitter pill to swallow if we are going for metaphor.
Here's a thing, the Dark Heart has power being drawn into 6 points on it. Maybe because these others are gone - Xalatath get's all the power? Kinda like in Stargate Ark of Truth when Adria gets all the worship power when the Ori are gone.
It isn't five dragonflights, it is six. Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Black and Infinite. The sixth in this case being a "corrupted" one of one of the former ones. A clue maybe?
That's actually a GREAT theory. I totally dig it and it fits into a LOT of the things Xal has done and said. She's always telling the truth about people, their pasts, their places in the world, etc
Isnt it funny that if shadow/void is truth, then it plays into light being "blinding" which could also be interpretted as not being able to see the truth
i have said this before, i think she's something abstract. she feeds on conflict/war/wrath. which makes her pretty much permanent, because the game is called 'world of warcraft' and the one thing you can be sure of in this reality is that at any moment, the next conflict is right around the corner. she's not going anywhere until the warring stops, which in this game will be exactly NEVER.
This, and even in the SoD seasonal classic server they added her as part of getting an epic crafted item each phase though not officially by name xal'atath, it is a void figure as a blood elf female figure. Which means she could've been pulling the threads all along OR she is utilizing time travel to manipulate past events as a ripple effect to change the present
Think about it, Truth can be a big motivation in a war. What is truth for one side can be lies for the other. Wars start when disagreements turn to blood, and truth is a big component of disagreement. No villain ever sees himself as the villain (if he's honest with himself), he thinks he's changing society for the better (and the better for him in particular). He sees Truth as what he believes, and if the other people don't see that, well, let them bring the big guns and challenge the belief. Gregori Rasputin is a good example of this; he was totally convinced he was right and the rest of the court of Russia didn't agree. He ended up dead because of this and his beliefs played right into the hands of the anti-monarchy faction, which took over the government and killed the Tsar and his entire family. Being right isn't always 'right' and truth isn't always the same truth as other people see it. And there's the rub.
@YumanoidPontifex kinda reminds me of starcraft 2 with the primal zerg which basically got chosen by the void of that universe to be their minions. But it's very dog eat dog with the primal zerg, constantly killing and consuming eachother's essences to grow and evolve and the consumption never slows down, it only grows.
Her funny shoulder orbs are pretty reminiscent of the golden "eyes" of a Naaru, and they spin on an axis as well during some of their animations, like the GIF of Xal'atath they kept showing us with her orbs spinning around her head.
That is actually probably the answer. Void being literal truth and how it slowly always resurfaces and there is no end to it. Theoretically the more the Titans have lied and tried to hide the truth, the stronger and larger the void have become! You can never truly hide the truth. No matter how hard you try.
Zovaal will still play the most important role - his still unknown backstory, what he had been, why he had went against the system, how he did it, what he had seen. All his was not revealed yet, because it was far too important and in the end is what will link all the parts together.
Why is Denathrius always speak of his ascension?... as the nerubians do. Where he could ascended in Shadowlands with Zoval? ... And has always problems with the light.
I think that she is Valeria from alternate universe that completely accepted the Void. I think even one other youtuber had the same tought and even said that she is getting memories from xal that "never happened".
More likely that Xal is something coming from the original 'universe' before whatever created that fake system came and distorted it, trying to force its own order on it.
She might not be the alternate, but the equal to. She doesn't have to be Alleria to be someone who embraced the Void in her own way, becoming the truth that is needed. She sees that ability in Alleria and wants to have an ally in the "real fight" that is to come.
@@rasmuskjaerpoulsen Alternate universe isn't lazy, but it can be a springboard to exploring a concept. Not all alternates are tied together. This would be an amazing arc to the story. Red pill, blue pill. Also, I love seeing you thoughts snap into place and how animated it makes you. Pure hype!
I would go for a panel with Metzen, Pyro, Bellular, and Nobbel, all talking theory craft and fractals for a couple hours. That would be something to hear.
It also explains the Cinematic in Dalaran were Xal'atath disguised as Drenden tells Alleria that nobody has sensed her presence. As in "nobody wanted to see the TRUTH, that Drenden is already dead". 🤔
Wait, what is 5 pillars of light? I found 5 keys, five pillars of creation. There was naarus on Argus, Xera was prime (not impressed to be honest) , but how do we know that there are or was 5 primes? Maybe 20? Also weird that argus had naaru but azeroth has spirit healers. I wonder why
"Black blood's power, My power" what is the black blood from? Wasn't it Y'shaarj? Would the black blood belong to Xalatath as though Y'shaarj belongs to her, perhaps is her? The black blade is a claw of Y'shaarj, right? Perhaps she is a fallen Naaru, but also the mother of the Old Gods? So many questions, such a good story thus far.

Khadgar believes that Elune created the prime naaru X'era during the ordering of shadow and light. "I was going through some ancient cosmology tomes when I stumbled upon a passage indicating that the prime naaru may have been created by Elune during the great ordering of Light and Shadow." Perhaps the Naaru are naturally void, and Elune 'corrupted' some with order and light. That would certainly make her an enemy of a void prime naaru... On the subject of truth, another interesting whisper... (Helheim) Xal'atath whispers: "Helya and her cult are strong here. So close to the truth, yet so far."
I just remembered, with Lumineux's idea, that who replaced the fallen member of the council of SIX? Xalatath, in disguise. There's some serious cooking and baking going on with this. It's game-changing if it turns out to be the case.
Xal says “they will pay for what was done to me long ago”. Still not sure why or how she was placed in the blade. Could each of the old gods have represented a certain cosmic force? Cause Xal seems to want to absorb the essences of the other old gods. I still wonder if she was an old god or important to the old gods until she did something that lead to her imprisonment in the blade by the others. Also a whisper talks about the cosmic forces and one wanting to absorb or take over all the others. (Can’t remember exactly how it works). Could Xal maybe be the representation of spirit, the missing cosmic force? Another thought I had. Could Azeroth be spirit and Xal her representation? Both are repeatedly stated to be imprisoned. There’s allegedly 6 Dragonflights, the sixth being Purple. We see this on a mural on the ceiling in one of the buildings in Valdrakken (I think Valdrakken).
Has pyro mentioned how the dark heart mirrors the 2-D cosmic chart? Specifically when it is absorbing power. Almost like it absorbs power and doesn’t convert it to void, but splits it into each component force.
Why does "the truth" want "the soul of your world, in the palm of my hand"? Why did she describe herself as the harbinger of "the empire that was"? Was that "the truth" lying? Look, I'm not going to say there's no chance you're right, but I'm pretty sure you're high on your own supply.
in the early days of the blades travels it tells of it abandoning people in their greatest need, the old saying of truth abandoning you or how ever its expressed is a good metaphor for their short comings whilst utilising the powers of the blade/truth to achieve their ends only to fall to truth/lies.
I thought about that too. While it may be possible I don't think its the case. When Xal pretended to be the other archmage her personality was still somewhat visible, pyro suspected him immediately. @@Jonathan_the_teddy_bear But that exactly how Xal thinks, she knows all and would have known how that event went down ...likely planned it to happen exactly as it did. Do we even know that was the real dark heart and not one of her illusions.

The other theory i've been feeling is that xalatath is the dark side of Azeroth, cycling light and dark like Beledar. Common ide in occult philosophy personofies the darker hidden parts of yourself within the subconcious. Why you have beings like Hecate that act as a keyholder, guide of the crossroads. If the titans found azeroth and did something to help lock that side of azeroth away, but we freed it, then we would azeroth's "keyholder" and she's just doing shadow work right now. I like the truth one too and idk which i like more tbh. I think the confirmation of the black blood being her power to me confirms that Xalatath is Azeroth though. That's a pretty big thing. Because the black blood feels like the dark version of Azerite. It's just deeper, hidden in the "subconscious" that is the deeps of the world.
And to think that when the Titans come back in TLT, that we will find out the TRUTH behind all the things that have been going. Xalatath revealing to us the truth behind all the lies and deceptions we have been made to believe. Dude...Lumineux...that's some next level insight.
True or not, such a fire idea! I worry that Blizz wouldn't lean into such an idea after the community not understanding fractals and thought it too 'high' an idea.
Could it be that "X Number of Things to" could apply to multiple collections containing an equal number of X things, instead of being restricted to one particular group of X things?
"The nail that sticks out shall be hammered down." There's always a member of the council, a seat at the table, a person in the party who goes unheard or dismissed by the majority. It's a recurring theme for a lot of WoW's villains, hell a lot of Blizzard's villains. It def tracks, the truth is often difficult for people to deal with, and rather than deal with it, they disregard or actively shun it.
I like your content regardless. But man do I love these videos when you just so incredibly hyped up about something and just watching a new piece of information snap everything else into place so well whether or not it comes out to be true/correct.
Sometimes you REALLY reach for a narrative that is far beyond Blizzards capability man lol. The shit you write in your own head is way cooler than anything they could do and I would implore you to just make your own universe/game/book something because Blizzard is literally not capable of making a story this good and you're just setting yourself up for disappointment when you find out their writing is far less complex than you build it up to be lol. They're focused on casual gamers now, casual gamers don't understand plot, fractals, or story. They just care about flashy colors and dopamine.
Metzen sure talks about truth a lot in his interview, especially when it comes to telling people how to approach their writing, in the Warcraft Team. :)
The Truth isn't just out there! It's buried- under layers of bad Paladin Practice and Naaru Machinery ;) awesome connections from you and chat

Does the Artifact ever actually lie to the Priest?
And to think that when the Titans come back in TLT, that we will find out the TRUTH behind all the things that have been going. Xalatath revealing to us the truth behind all the lies and deceptions we have been made to believe. Dude...Lumineux...that's some next level insight.
but titans cannot be evil so easily please🙏🙏🙏🙏.
I love when we get Pyro to react like this lol
I also feel as though the thumbnail runes read *Wrynn"., Just musing thoughts.
The last two aren't the same so it can't be wrynn
True or not, such a fire idea! I worry that Blizz wouldn't lean into such an idea after the community not understanding fractals and thought it too 'high' an idea.
WoW's story in general is planed since many years, only details change.
Mind blown indeed lol
Im ready for void paladins🎉
Can someone tell me the soundtrack playing in the background?
Netherlight Temple Class Order Hall music! - Editor Jay
pyro really is a fractal of Xal LMAO
This is the definition of insanity
Unbalanced...a cosmos divided.
Could it be that "X Number of Things to" could apply to multiple collections containing an equal number of X things, instead of being restricted to one particular group of X things?
Xal'atath is Azeroth.
Lumineux hitting us with a truth bomb amirite *badum tss*
As always, they have very cool ideas! Reminds me of the Shadowlands rewrite
grats on 100k pyro!

That Southpark comment in chat...THAT would be long time story telling :D
"The nail that sticks out shall be hammered down." There's always a member of the council, a seat at the table, a person in the party who goes unheard or dismissed by the majority. It's a recurring theme for a lot of WoW's villains, hell a lot of Blizzard's villains. It def tracks, the truth is often difficult for people to deal with, and rather than deal with it, they disregard or actively shun it.
I like your content regardless. But man do I love these videos when you just so incredibly hyped up about something and just watching a new piece of information snap everything else into place so well whether or not it comes out to be true/correct.
Maybe Arthas would never have fallen if the pillar of Truth hadn't have fallen. I might be reaching with that 😂
HOLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Sometimes you REALLY reach for a narrative that is far beyond Blizzards capability man lol. The shit you write in your own head is way cooler than anything they could do and I would implore you to just make your own universe/game/book something because Blizzard is literally not capable of making a story this good and you're just setting yourself up for disappointment when you find out their writing is far less complex than you build it up to be lol. They're focused on casual gamers now, casual gamers don't understand plot, fractals, or story. They just care about flashy colors and dopamine.
Pretty sure you got zero clue of WoW lore.
second :^)

Metzen sure talks about truth a lot in his interview, especially when it comes to telling people how to approach their writing, in the Warcraft Team. :)
