Van Life Sucks!!! - Van Life South Africa

Okay, so maybe it doesn't suck... But it has been really hard! Our first week on the road came with all sorts of challenges from leaking roofs to flat tyres and being turned around twice!

Why build a van then worry about staying in campsites and hotels. Surely a car or even car and caravan would be much easier if thats the desired use. To me a van is about independence from traditional locations and you can sleep anywhere thats relatively safe.

Oh wow, sorry should’ve thought about that. A geyser is what we call a water heater. Our one in the van runs on LP gas but most households run on electrical water heaters (similar to the US I think?)
