    How well does this lens control the vigneting or aberrations?

      Hi! No vignetting on my S35 sensor. Small aberrations are there, if you explicitly look out for them. But that's part of the style.

      As long as you aren't concerned about autofocus or very wide apertures, then forget asking any other questions about this lens because it is phenomenally good in every other respect and cheap.

    Is that lens radioactive?

      It's not a thorium lens, if that's what you mean. And even if it was, I wouldn't worry. An elevated amount of radiation might be detectable in some lenses, but this is insignificant to your biology.
