About Emma Just after she graduated from university, Emma Bennett slipped on a spill in the stairwell, hitting the back of her head on each concrete step down two flights, resulting in a diffuse axonal brain injury. She has also had a near-death experience, forever altering her life in unimaginable ways. In addition to acquired disability, Emma has cervical dystonia, a congenital and rare neurological condition similar to Parkinson's that affects the basal ganglia, causing involuntary muscle contractions in her cervical spine area. To adapt to life with these conditions, Emma has leveraged conscious adaptation to heal through neurohacking and used her intuition to offset cognitive impairments, changing her approach to consciousness, life, and the human experience.
