  • It is as scary of a situation as anyone can imagine. Five people were stranded on top of a capsized boat 10 or more miles off the shore of Mayport Sunday morning.

      Oh yes, they were really special people with angels watching over them yet;
      Child mortality is one of the world's largest problems. Around 6 million children under 15 die per year. That's around 16,000 deaths every day, or 11 every minute.
      Guess these children were not so special.

    To God be the Glory -- truly the fisherman was right -- God's GRACE saved this group of boaters.
    In a separate story, a BC couple were found dead in an inflatable life raft, nearly 300 kilometres southeast of Halifax on Wednesday.

    God Bless This Guy. Gods LifeLine Will. I've been out there and it is a BIGG Ocean. Thank God there were no aggressive sharks. They are there.

      According to the fisherman's testimony, the sharks were very aggressive that day. I think had one or more of the family members fallen off of the boat's hull, the story may have had a different ending? The miracle is that they were found before the boat completely sank. Either way, somebody upstairs appears to have been protecting these people until help arrived. Devine Intervention? Maybe?

    In Miami, I tried to find a phone # to call for help, if needing help, and there wasn't one. So I guess everyone with a boat, needs to buy a special marine phone, which seems silly.

    I’m curious to know why the captain of the 1st boat (the fishing boat) did not bring the victims onto their boat? Why did they have to wait to be towed in?

    Boat that size could’ve saved them but for security reasons they didn’t…..? No blond hair and blue eyes won’t get you in a boat even if your life at risk. 😢

    I have the same question... I know it's not that easy to rescue/pull someone from the water but why wait for the Coast guard when you are already there? They could of pulled them on board after getting them to jump in the water one at a time.... Were the sharks really that bad?...
