It's getting there I was going to run the new wire my self but my wife said "The electrician has insurance for that kind of stuff" . That's why she's the boss 🤣
Well that didn't turn out too bad! You ended up with some new tools and some geodes! Id say it was more than successful! Lol! And because you made it walking back up the creek and before the storm blew more water in the creek on you, we can all count it as a win! Glad to see you made it back and just slightly water logged! Lol! I can't wait for the live geode crackin! That should be a lot of fun! Thanks Jeff, the best hunting guide out there!❣️
I actually used all those tools I found, too. That little pry bar came in hand out, digging opals, and the grabber let me get some cool rocks out west from holes I wasn't gonna stick my hand in ( it was rattle snake country )
Thank you very much, I got some crazy cool stuff coming up after next week I literally just got home from a trip out west collecting fossils, rocks , gems? And minerals. If you ever want to see anything dug or looked for just ask (I take request lol )
I'm looking forward to getting back down that way. It's always good to have your saw in working order. I've got a few peices to cut when you have the time.
Dude that grabber is the find man! lol. I think the Jefferson and St. Charles county geodes have a lot of similarities. Not sure if they formed the same way but it seems like it.
I was wondering if they may have and every now and again you will find one or two in the Grafton area ... I bet this was another huge geode bed before the Mississippi river split the two states in two
I'm interested. Did you walk up to the people you thought may have left some stuff behind, with the machete in your hand? 🤔😅 You sure do find some pretty interesting things in this creek, you get to find cool rock's and do a treasure hunt at the same time, way cool!!
Hahaha, I did, but I did it in a non-threatening way 🤣 Finding weird and crazy things is one of the big reasons I like to walk creeks in or near town. I haven't ever found anything worthy of calling the police yet which is both good and surprising 🤣
Aside from the rocks, you got some nice finds! I think I might invest in a couple of those grabber tools. Maybe one by my bed so I don't have to bend over to pick up my shoes and clothes. Maybe one by my desk in case I drop my keys...the list can go on and on. 🤣😂You don't have to work hard if you work smart, right? lol
Hahaha I actually used every thing I found while I was on my western adventure at least once ... I really had no idea how useful those grabbers where until I was finding rocks in holes I didn't want to stick my hands into 🤣
@@huntingrocks those machetes are great for whacking the weeds when they get too tall and you don’t want a bunch of ticks hopping off of them and onto you!
Gaaaaa, I legit never see them. I do really think they hide from me, I have friends who find them all the time in their farm fields. I have a friend who took me out one time he followed me to make sure I didn't miss any, we didn't find a single one, I went home and he called me an hour later he had gone back out and sent me a text message picture with 5 he found in my boot tracks. I'm not superstitious, but I am a little stitious, and I don't think I am supposed to find them. Also, thank you for pointing it out ... even though it made me a little sad 🤣
Enjoyed this very much! Hope the BEAST gets fixed soon! Look forward to the cracking video, though I would rather see them all sawed.

Great video! Thanks
Like the weekly and look forward to them.

Hopefully I still have to call the electrician I just got back from my western trip and got TONs to cut but no wiring yet
@@huntingrocks I'm in the middle of my vendor season so I won't be able to get down for a while. No pressure from me! :)
Looking good there Jeff!
Thank you

And yes, I was able to see the tiny little fish (fry?) in that scene preceding the grabber find.
I need to start using my fauxpro to get some underwater shots of them

I don't want tics anywhere near me . I still got the Alpha-Gal
At around 4:40 you walked right by a nice arrowhead with one tip broken.
