👋🏻 😊 guys, I love your short videos. But I truly appreciate your long ones.I know all the hard work that goes into them, so thank you.
Absolutely, more long videos to come! Just takes ages editing them, but it’s worth it if people enjoy them!
@@YorkshireFossilsI'm very curious did you ever take any of the fossils you find to up expert to identify and determine how old they are And which of the fossils do you believe are your most favorite
I love this channel. I’ve been gone for a while. I have some skin cancer. Had to be taken care of. Keep doing what you guys are doing. I love it.
@@NicholasIrvin The fossils we find are around 185 Million Years Old, our favourites are hard to choose though!
@@heidilanier3090 Thank you, we send our best wishes to you and hope that you are feeling well. See you in the next video
Someone might spot that line of rocks and think it's a prehistoric structure! 😂😂
I think the tide has washed it away already 😅🤣
Great video guys. Loved your competition.
Thanks so much! Something we’ll have to do again in the future!
I've binged watched all your videos, but it nice to see a new one posted.
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
Your videos are always so clear !! Great camera and camera work !
Thank you so much! We always try to film to a high standard!
Thanks for the chances to try to spot them ourselves. I'm currently horrible at it, but it's some of the most practical training in what to look for that I've seen.
I have to say, the challenges in this video were not the easiest! We have some more coming up in our next video too 🪨
X) Anthropologists often wonder at the "why" of European standing stone monuments, but this video answered the question: it was brothers marking up the landscape for friendly competitions!
All jokes aside, this video was great fun. Scenery, spot-the-fossil, nodule cracking, and a bit of everybody-wins tension. Perfect!
Haha maybe we accidentally discovered something to unlock history! 🤣
Thanks so much for the feedback, we really appreciate it and I’m glad you enjoyed the video! See you in the next one!
I agree with this whole heartedly. This is the one of a few vids I've seen from you guys and I love the way you structure and present. It makes things so much easier to understand and appreciated. Especially looking at the details of what it find and then the bigger picture 🥰

@@JWMcLay thank you very much! We will certainly try to continue to improve our video structure, stay tuned!
I really like what your both doing with the videos, quality over quantity.
I don't mean the others weren't fun, but these are funnier, er funner?, no
more interesting!!
Your up to over 1.5 MILLION subscribers....!
Cheers,

Thanks as always Rik!
We’re certainly aiming for quality over quantity, and as always we’re including original content and ideas, something that’s one of our values.
More to come, we’re already working on the next one! Speak soon,

I have a few places in the woods on a hill where I find these a lot. One time while cracking one open a rather large one, it split right down the middle exposing the inside of the ammonite. In the middle cavity of the shell was sand. Yes sand . from the day I guess it died. There's no sand around and this was in cased in rock. Very neat to think that sand had not seen the sun for eons . ever happen to you guys?. Love the video guys❤
Great fun AGAIN! THANKS...MORRRRRRRE!❤
You are so welcome! Thanks 🤩
More to come!!

Hi Boys,i like your Videos, greetings from Switzerland.😁
Hey, thanks! Great to meet you 🌴🌲
Hot Ginger Fossil Guys. This was a great video !!
if you ever want to see fossils galaore and im saying huge walls of fossils or cliffs and beaches covered, you need to go to KODIAK ISLAND ALASKA,we have a beach called fossil beach and its like the earth slid off and all of history is in the walls.grew up there and its like history frozen in time.way better than anything ive seen in your videos.
Thank you for sharing an excellent video...💯👏😔
You’re most welcome! See you in the next one 😉
@@YorkshireFossils see you in the next one. ✌️ ☺️
Very nice video ❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks so much! 🦕🦖
please can you say where you went fossil hunting.
It is my sons birthday and we are picking the best spot
Love your videos
Hey, this was near Whitby, best of luck!
It's Port Mulgrave by the looks of it, a pain in the backside to climb up and down to. Maybe take your son somewhere like Sandsend, a bit easier to access and still great fossils 😊
It's certainly tricky access at the moment, also make sure to check the tide times before you go! Happy hunting
@@BritishTeaBikerthanks for the advice, we looking at doing this with daughter in the area too :)
DAVE WON... AWESOME FIND...😊JK, ALL THE FINDS WERE FABULOUS.
Haha he sure had the best ammonite!! Thanks 🙏🏻

Glad you enjoyed it! More to come 🐊🏝️
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
Areet lads amazing channel not only do i enjoy your channel but uz have sparked an intrest in my 6yr old son zak he loves the adventure and the hunt. We only live up the road in northshields and travel down 2 port mulgrave were we bumped in2 a friend of urs who's name we didn't catch he was fantastic he gave zak a couple of small ammonites and took the time 2 show him how 2 spot ammonites in the beach pebbles which drastically inprooved what we find zak now has the start of a collection and we have invested in some finer tools 2 learn 2 prep his finds! He wants a big thaw hammer and big muscles just like shay 😂! Thanks in advance for everything he is learning off uz
Hi guys, I'm from Brazil but I watch your videos, I find them quite annoying, I even wanted to order a fossil, but whenever I go to see your store, the stock runs out quickly and if you could just tell me what the name of the place is where you are collect fossils I would appreciate it and when I can give a boost to your channel I will boost it
The last time I saw you around was about 4 years ago. Just wanted to lyk the content massively improved! Good job🤘🏼
Fascynujaca geologiczna przygoda z Jurajskimi skamienialosciami. Czy trzeba miec licencje na te poszukiwania, czy wystarczy wziac mlotek i ruszyc na przygode z amonitami?
Pozdrawiam i życzę duzo radosci🙂
What are the legalities of beach fossil hunting? I know its illegal to take stones/pebbles from public beaches in the UK but what about fossils? Do you need some sort of permission or licence?
Have you guys ever just sifted the gravel and sand to look for tiny pyritized ammonites?
Hi. Do you sell these fossils or is it just for fun? If you do sell them, are they expensive?
Just awesome❤
Thanks so much! 🦕🦖
Well done lads. 🇨🇦
Thank youu! 🦕🦖
Very informative and interesting. Thank you
Do you think that you will ever run out of stones?
Love your videos thank you so much.

How old is the area you guys are in I’m guessing it’s probably 180 million years ago
That is indeed correct
