Wow, you forgot the second "Help me say goodbye" That is the most important line of the song
interesting fact I found out about that part, it was added after the show opened on Broadway, not sure how long it was into the run before it was added.
This is the original version. The newer version added a few things (extra parts on think of me, different lyrics and second ebdings) this is the original accompaniment
Such a beautiful song. It really shows Christine's need for her father and the process of transforming from an emotionally unstable child into a strong, mature woman

If you're referring to the last "help me say goodbye", that line just isn't in this version of the song. There's two versions. :3
Brynn Lesher Movie version is the one you're thinking of Phillipa. The original production does not include that last tag.

I'm familiar with the soundtrack of the original London cast, and in that recording she doesn't jump up the octave. You can stay on the same note, it still sounds good.

the only note I have trouble with is the last high one, because it's such a long jump from the low note to the high one.
Please note that this track had good instrumentals and all that, but I hated how it cut out at the end. It also went too fast. I played the actual track at the same time as this one, and when it reached the chorus, this video was one line ahead! Also, would really appreciate if you didn't cut out the end. I wanted to use this as my audition song for this thing called showcase, but if I do I'll have to slow it down. Again, this is a good karaoke, just try to fix the speed & ending.

Lilly McKendry go to the chorus first and then start again to ding your note. it’s a harmony based accompaniment in the verses, so it sounds wrong if you start singing the wrong kore
i can sing this and it dosent hurt at all and im only going 13 in a month so its not hard if u have a strong soprano voice which I have

Yeah, when I was 14 I could sing like Sarah Brightman, but now that I'm 26 I don't even come close to those high notes in the track 'Phantom of the Opera'. Your voice changes over time, be you a girl or guy. * sigh * I wish I could still sing like that. lol
kerena smith lol how about now? can you still? when i was 12 i couldnt go near high notes. now they're super easy for me even though i'm 19. your voice changes during puberty, it can go higher or go lower.
