It's definitely a win win, especially because neither of us are much for rereading and both unhaul our books to each other! 😂👌 I hope you enjoy both when you pick them up!
Love this!! Enjoyed the doggo footage- and that bread looks soooo good. 🤤 Seems like Lisa knows your taste! Glad you at least somewhat enjoyed all of these. I have been convinced to add The Marsh King to my TBR. Also, I have deeeeeefinitely had that “mmmm….mmmmhm 😒” reaction to thriller twists. 😂
Thanks! Ozzy enjoys being the center of attention for sure! 😂 I definitely think she knows my tastes for the most part. 😊 In thrillers and contemporary romance at least, less so in fantasy. I hope you enjoy Marsh King's Daughter! 🥳 Glad I'm not alone with the mmmm mmmmhm's at times! 😆
I have been inspired by BookTube to get into horror & Gothic, & I'm really enjoying it, I've always read a lot of fantasy, mythology & magic realism, but I'm in the middle of a big adventure with Shirley Jackson now. BookTube is so enlarging & enabling - I love it! Thanks for another wonderful video, interesting concept to get recommendations live from your sister, great idea!
Nice! It's definitely fun to broaden your reading horizons and try out new things! I hope you find some new faves and discover more about your own reading tastes! I think the only Shirley Jackson I've read so far is We Have Always Lived in the Castle but it didn't work so well for me! 😅 I needed more in terms of character reactions in that one I think. I get that it's supposed to be chilling because they are lacking but it didn't work as well for me. It was definitely fun to get recs from my older sister and try them out! May have to do another round of it sometime in the future when we're together in person again! 😁
@@TheChapterConundrum : I am reading 'We Have Always Lived In The Castle' at the moment, & it will be the featured book in my next video, so I appreciate your thoughts. They will help me in my research. Thank you.
I'm not usually into thrillers but it was really fun to see you both talk about them! I did like And Then There Were None and Broken Girls from Simone St. James so I might need to try One by One and Sundown Motel.
This should be fun! 🎉
Ah this was so fun! I love that you can count on each other for good book recs. Definitely curious to try The Marsh King's Daughter and One by One 🤩

Sourdough was yummy, can confirm 😂

I’ve already read Sun Down Motel and enjoyed it! 4 star book for me!
I did figure that out later and put it on screen haha

Thanks! It was fun for us to film together and for me to read some of her faves! 😊
I hope you enjoy them both when you do!
I own at least one Ruth Ware book, but have not read it yet.
Glad I'm not the only one who still hadn't read one of her books! 😊
The Marsh King and One by One sounds good! Inneed to read them both
I enjoyed them both. Here's hoping you will too! 🎉
🤴 I mean obviously. Haha
lol yeah, if you didn't make it to the end of the video I definitely have some issues! 😂
