Certainly one of the major ones, especially at her level . . . . Neal Adams and Lee, Kirby, Adams and Steranko and Shooter and Schwartz and Infantino are also part of that . . . .

You are right, she is the best publisher DC has had, was not expecting this guest honestly and happy this happened. Brings back memories of better times in comics
Jenette Kahn is a legendary publisher and a kind soul. I remember her being a big cheerleader for Milestone Comic and Frank Miller when people though these people where nuts. Jenette is the kind of person if she believe in something or somebody, she is willing to put it all on the line.
I grew up a Marvel fan in the 80s, but it was the Vertigo line that kept me reading as a teenager. I knew nothing about Kahn’s role in all of that. I found this conversation fascinating. Thank you, Mark!
She presided over DC during their modern day GOLDEN AGE - so many perennial classic comics under her leadership. A true visionary. Great interview Mark!!
I saw Jenette's smiling face & had to click. I have long admired this woman & her influence on comics. I wish she could come back & straighten out the mess that DC has become. Marvel could use someone like her as well.
She's clearly such a business and PR person, but I get the sense that it's also 99% genuine, which is great. Amazing interview and history of the industry here !
Thanks for this lovely chat with an unsung hero, I could have listened to way more of Jenette's stories. We truly couldn't have realized how good we had it with the triple threat of Jenette Kahn, Karen Berger and Paul Levitz at the helm and I feel like western comics desperately need a power team like that to take big swings and challenge readers again.
We need people of her calibre in the industry today. But more importantly, how much did you pay for the stuffed cat? I'm simultaneously creeped out and intrigued.
I hope you understand how much we fans (and pros) appreciated and loved how you steered DC. I was a Marvel Zombie until DC made some daring new formats and took chances. Not many people like you these days and comics are the poorer for it.
I've been collecting comics for over 50 years so believe me when I say this lady is a absolute legend.
She's single-handedly responsible for upping the maturity and level of the comic book medium. Severely underappreciated.
Certainly one of the major ones, especially at her level . . . . Neal Adams and Lee, Kirby, Adams and Steranko and Shooter and Schwartz and Infantino are also part of that . . . .
Marvel and DC need so much people like her. The giants are in the past.
Thank you Janette for getting Frank Miller to DC 🙏

You are right, she is the best publisher DC has had, was not expecting this guest honestly and happy this happened. Brings back memories of better times in comics
I would say not just the best DC publisher. But the best American comics publisher.
Jenette Kahn is a legendary publisher and a kind soul. I remember her being a big cheerleader for Milestone Comic and Frank Miller when people though these people where nuts. Jenette is the kind of person if she believe in something or somebody, she is willing to put it all on the line.
That’s my afternoon sorted, Jenette Khan is an absolute legend. How we could do with someone like her in comics today.
Love hearing Jenette Kahn talk. She is so smart but has a way of communicating in a very clear way with a lot of energy.
Fantastic, insightful discussion. Wonderful to hear from Jenette Kahn and her career. How about Karen Berger soon?
I grew up a Marvel fan in the 80s, but it was the Vertigo line that kept me reading as a teenager. I knew nothing about Kahn’s role in all of that. I found this conversation fascinating. Thank you, Mark!

1980-2010 the absolute best era of DC. It hasn't been the same since then.
Wow. This was a good interview and I wasn’t aware she was such a legend.
Thank you Jennette !!
Would love to see more of your frequent collaborators like Stuart Immonen, Steve McNiven, Terry Dodson & Goran Parlov next.
Another AWESOME chat Mark. Keep it up !!! Maybe Grant Morrison/ Jim Lee / John Wagner / Karen Berger / Warren ellis/ Alan Moore / Alan Davis
Millar, thanks for interviewing Khan. She is such a seminal figure from my childhood. Great to learn about her backstory. Nice interview.
I really hope Mark has a "Don't Tug on Superman's Cape" by his Reeves Cape
Awesome interview, Jenette has a positivity that's super inspiring.
Her story is great. This period of time in the industry sounds like a great “mad men” style drama series.
Thanks for this lovely chat with an unsung hero, I could have listened to way more of Jenette's stories. yes! and I would ad Dick Giordano and Len Wein to that list - all great creatives in editorial positions!
Great interview, you asked the questions I would have.
Her time as the head of DC was my favorite era from that company.
Another great interview, I started reading in the late 70's early 80's and DC was really firing on all Cylinders back then
Good one Mark, she is indeed a legend and that’s from a Marvel fan 😀
Whoa!!! Legendary Interview, Sir!!!🫡🫡🫡🫡
Mark! Millar Time just leveled up.
We need people of her calibre in the industry today.
But more importantly, how much did you pay for the stuffed cat? I'm simultaneously creeped out and intrigued.
Brilliant interview. Thank you for this, Mark.
Soo... Paul Levitz next? 😉
I hope you understand how much we fans (and pros) appreciated and loved how you steered DC. I was a Marvel Zombie until DC made some daring new formats and took chances. Not many people like you these days and comics are the poorer for it.
1:00:42 Amen
that was real cool, sir.
Here we have an interview with the most important figure in modern comics history and I keep hearing a bird tweeting incessantly as Mrs. Kahn speaks.
dear mark millar i am a huge fan and i have a idea for a comic book what if you made like a eacho hero you know like tarzan and doctor dolittle
It was $00.20 between Roosevelt and Carter . . . . $00.10 to $00.30.
Lets make aure Mark gets Grant Morrison on next 😂
