Some one i knew was dumping boxes of there son's comic book long boxes, so i went through them, and Silent Dragon!!! mini series wow man I am a big fan!!
Lenil Yu is one of my favorite artists. Nobody can draw voluptuous women and scenes of city wide destruction quite like him. His art singlehandedly made me pick up every Issue of Secret Invasion and Superman Birthright.
How great, I love these conversations. Such talented people. Please follow this muse for as long as you're willing Mark. Looking through Superior as I listened to this podcast...
- I miss Wizard magazine. - Leinil is one of the nicest guys in the comic book industry. I asked him to look at my work online and he gave me a nice critique and words of encouragement. We need more pros like him in the business. - I also have nightmares about being enrolled in school. It's a weird thing that comes around once in a blue moon. Wish I could have normal nightmares like Killer Clowns or something normal. School is the most boring thing to lose sleep over.
Leinil Yu’s books/covers/designs are amazing stuff. Kind of guy who I’d like to get his Matrix drawing cheat codes so I could be an architect. Wasn’t Joe Bennett (B.R.A.S.S.) another iconic Philippine artist?
.. I really enjoy your channel , especially the Artists . it would be Great if you could show some of their Art once in a while , while you talk . Thank You
Met Nil in Dallas almost 10 years ago, great guy! i have a couple questions as far as his views on art sales. with the rise in NFTs, couldn't digital art files be sold in a similar way? and with physical art, could you not stipulate that the artist has a 10% stake in any future sales of the art? i know that would probably be impossible to truly enforce on the smaller sales (and you probably wouldn't want to seem like your attacking fans over smaller transactions anyways), but really pricey ones that reach auction houses would be able to fulfill that obligation.
Starting the week looking at Leinil Yu's art is Wolverine's secret to growing so much hair on his chest. It's a time travel sorta deal. Deadpool broke the 4th wall mentioning it when time traveling with Cable. Also, gave the heads up that we'd be in for a pleasant surprise on Millar Time today, and lo and behold. Thanks Mark! Hope you have a Happy St. Valentine's Day tomorrow if you celebrate! P.S. If I wasn't clear, Leinil Yu's Wolverine art is amazing!
Guys great chat, I too value Lainil Yu Ultimate Hulk vs Wolverine for the great art work and tale, Supercrooks is also is a fun mad tale, Thanks for the great entertainment.

The possible idea of more Superman and Batman drawn by Leinil Yu and written by Mark Millar coming is a delight, awesome interview gentlemen
Why just limit it to Batman & Superman? Can you imagine a JLA/JSA/Titans/Planetary/Authority series by these 2 gentlemen?
Leinil Yu is one of the all-time greats! An idol + inspiration!
I hope in future installments you bring Jonathan Hickman and Scott Snyder!

Another great one.
magandang estilo ng pagguhit...magaling talaga itong si leinil...
His four part Wolverine run with Warren Ellis was the best! I think his recent work suffers from the deadline crunch, and, looks scratchy.
Big ups Leinil Yu 😎👍
Met Leinil back in 2019. He's cool
Yay !
For the record, Mr. Millar, I love Balut! I’ll eat it every time it’s on the table. 😄

This is great! 🙌🏼

You should do a talk with Brett booth or Joe Mad.
Somebody should bring Mad to comics
Millar and Yu on Batman
Yes please
Leinil is the fuckin MAN
I thought it was Neal Adams who recruited the Filipino artists.
