UNLIMITED AIR: PCP Airgun Recharging - Air Venturi Home Compressor - GREAT NEWS - UK buyers can now get a compressor from the USA, 240V, and even better news mentioning this review and having a delivery address in the UK gets you another $100 off. This is to go against the import duty when buying the compressor. When purchasing email and use the code "Giles Barry Review" or "Airgun Gear Discount", or mention in the comments section on the order.
** Discount only for UK buyers with UK delivery address.
All PCP airgun shooters need air, and in the UK, maybe due to our climate we don't have a vast array of dive shops, and if you don't live just down the road from your local RFD, then you need to keep that rifle topped up at home. This compressor could be the answer for you.
3L bottle top up from 200-300 bar in 15 mins, and a 480cc bottle in 4 minutes. Costing on my home tariff less that 30p per hour to run.

Hi Giles, ok, a bit more serious. Home tank charging risks people ignoring the five year air tank certification test. Please don't folks. It's important. Tanks *will* eventually suffer fatigue failure - they expand and contract as the internal pressure changes. You'd be amazed, if you or your loved one survive, just how much damage an exploding air tank or valve failure can do. BobUK.

A quart is actually an imperial measurement, used by the UK. It's a quarter of a gallon, or 2 pints.

Great video Giles. I bought one a little while ago. I love that I don't need to take my bottle to the dive shop for a $10 fill up. It's kind of like driving an electric car, and just drive by the petrol station.

Your right about metric and imperial. Why didn't the people back in the days stay with one measuring system.
Why didn't they stay with driving on either the right side of the road or the left side?
Why didn't they get a standard of electrical power !
Why-- O-- Why-- ???? Have a great new year !

The Air Venturi compressor seems to be a quality unit that's easy to maintain/use. I wonder how easy it is to service the A.V. compressor in regards to replacing seals, and replacing worn parts. Hopefully A.V. made things modular so that just about anyone could service it, to avoid shipping it for service. Another informative & entertaining video. :D

Great video but the big gripe I have is that all these compressors are very costly and they do tend to break down and they are not easy to fix by the owners. Getting these things fixed can amount to very costly charges or very small things to deal with don't cost much to fix.. Shipping the machine to have it fixed/repaired for starters cost over $130.00 one way.
Airgunning can be a very expensive adventure. I live on a Island so going to the mainland to get a refill of my large tank calls for a 2 hour Ferry ride and a 10 hour day away from home.
I therefore bought a Omega Supercharger, a Omega Carbon Fiber tank, and even a Omega Air Drying system to the tune of close to $3000.00. And I don't look forward to replacing 5 top quality Air rifle carbon fiber bottles and a large and small Carbon fiber tanks that will be in need of safety checks and possible needed replacement.

why can't they design an ignition system for a tank? spay alcohol into the reservoir, ignite, and the pressures are contained. Instant tank refill. Same principle for when people use starting fluid to fill tractor tires. I've been thinking about a design but I'm focused on promoting my apps..
