M2 MacBook Air A2681 Liquid Damage Repair

- Today we have a MacBook Air M2 model A2681 with liquid damage. It's still working, the only complaint is there is no WiFi. This is a rather newer machine with a very different look for the MacBooks we are used to. In this video I will go over some of what looks the same and what's different and hopefully get this fixed.

We have many boards like this which have the same problem of fried wifi chip. Unfortunately, a tiny drop of water will create overvoltage and kill the wifi or the main PMIC :)

Just bought an M2 studio to replace my 2014 Mini. Maybe I shouldn’t be so surprised that the new 15” MBA’s are so cheap.. a glorified iPad. Noticed that the battery won’t charge past 80% on my 2015 MBP any more. Can’t get a clear answer on why. I’m hearing it’s normal behavior with the last update but can’t confirm it. Would be nice to know so I don’t have to drive to Rahway to get the thing looked at.
This current sense resistor that no longer in use, but if water damage stop machine from working , remind me a J-tag on an old MacBook's (please remind me witch ). Same stuff, remain from DEV, totally useless now , and if you still see one on the board, first remove it.
How many layers is that board?
Does the MacBook Air m2 have liquid indicators ?
All the MacBooks have liquid indicators but they have changed over the years. No longer will you find the white dots that turn red. Now they are black dots that after exposure to liquid they glow purple under UV light. I think they stain the board with the UV dye as well so it is harder to cover up liquid contact.

I have cleaned and tuned up a few. There's a video I'm working on in stages right now, I have a magnavox imperial micromatic console record player that one of the channels went out on the amp. I'm going to re cap the whole amp.
