Thanks for this reminder. I have used this tip before but not in a long time. Adding the colored card stock behind adds dimension but you could just use your stampin' blends to color on the backside.
Could you figure out how to use the multipurpose adhesive sheets to put the glitter on after you die cut it? That way you wouldn’t have to fussy cut around your die cut. I’m not sure how you could do that with trying to separate the die cut from the metal die but I think one might be able to do that.
I thought about that but the problem is the die cuts out the part we need to be sticky. Unless we taped it together before removing it from the die. I may try that.
TYFS the adding glitter to die cuts technique. Could you tell me how to remove glue from scissors? I have managed to get a build up of glue on my big scissors and would like to know how to remove it.
Hi Claudia. What I do to remove glue from my scissors, Pokey tool, tweezers is use alcohol sometimes I soak the tool in the alcohol if the build up is real bad otherwise I use a baby wipe with a good amount of Alcohol on it on a regular basis to clean things up. Let me know if that works for you. Thanks for watching.
@@LindaInkandIngenuity Thank you for responding to my question. I have not tried your alcohol technique, but I did get the glue off my scissors. I also got sticky residue off my stamping blocks. I used 100 percent acetone (aka nail polish remover). I did not soak anything in the acetone, but put a very small amount on a paper towel and wiped the glue right off the items.
Very pretty card, but Instead of all that fussy cutting, I would have and have put the paper on double sided sticky paper and then die cut them. I burnish the glitter in really well and then color the glitter with my blender pens.
Super idea! I’m not a good fussy-cutter so I would cut two butterflies and snip the antennas off of one and glue down! Thanks for this tip❣️
Great idea!
Loved the glitter tape technique. Great idea. Thank you.
Hi Dawnette, Thank You! Thanks for watching.

Cut another purple butterfly, glue it to the back , then die cut the butterfly again, can you tell I hate to fussy cut🥴

Hand sanitizer also will remove the sticky from your scissors.☺️
