EONON 7" Android 9.0 X-Train T30

- Hopefully this video helps anyone with an X-Trail T30 with the same interior or looking at the Eonon Adroid 9.0.
In this video I am installing the new EONON 7 inch Android 9.0 touch screen head unit into an older 2003 Nissan X-Trail T30 and also giving some tips for this car.
Any car with a double-din slot in their dash should be very similar although some cars may require a frame/bracket and also may need steering wheel controllers/CAMBUS etc so research into it first.

Sorry to ask a dim question but, when you connect WiFi is that then using your phone as the internet connection?
Sorry for late reply but yes. Wifi will use your phones hotspot. To run the android apps etc
How to enable video disabled while driving ?
In the settings there is probably a way to turn off the handbrake setting. I know there is definitely that in my other cars one. Which stops you watching while driving.
The other way is you need to screw the handbrake cable into the side of you head unit when installing so that it’s ground. That way the unit always thinking the handbrake is on.

does it come with a mic or is it sold separately? and do you know if the built in mic works good enough?
It comes with an external MIC there is no built in I believe, the external works great
i have same dash and unfortunately you dont show removal of dash i got it all loose except bottom left corner which has something holding it in any help appreciated
This was a while ago for me. I remember I unscrewed behind the bottle holders for the main centre piece/ head unit. what part are you trying to remove?
Where did u tap or connect the illumination wire?
Was a long time ago now but believe it all wired straight into the wire harness I bought. Don’t think I wired in many things with this install and if I did was just the original wires that were there.
Does this have an SD card support?
I’ll have to check, I’ve never used one in the unit

Yeah there are so many.
I couldn’t keep up buying them all and had a child so money had to go to other things. Maybe get some more in the future though and see how they have been improving.
