Uncle Joe (1941) - Full Movie | Slim Summerville, Zasu Pitts, Gale Storm

In this industrial film, paid for by the John Deere tractor company, J. V. Day (William B. Davidson and his wife Meg (Dorothy Vernon) send their daughter, Clare (Gale Storm), to get her away from an artist, to the farm of Mrs. Day's brother, bachelor Joe Butterworth (Slim Summerville), in Iowa. Julia Jordan (Zasu Pitts), a widow who is a friend of Clare's mother and Clare calls her Aunt Julia, also lives in the same small town, an is being courted by Joe.

Sadly the sound quality couldn't have been restored better but it's a true gem worth watching. So sad that so many of these films were lost forever

The soumd quality wasn't bad, at all, IMO. I've DEFINITELY waded through MUCH WORSE! Definitely worht watching a time or two.

A nice movie with a bad sound. Stopped the noise and watched the film. The eventions from Uncle Joe and these actors are still funny.
