(4K) Descent, Approach & Landing at Bristol Airport in a STRONG CROSSWIND (28th October 2021)

- Arriving at Bristol Airport at lunchtime on 28th October 2021 onboard an easyJet A319 during a period of very strong, gusty winds blowing directly perpendicular to the runway! 🌀 The video begins as we approach the South-east coast of the UK over Sussex. As we head west towards Bristol the scattered clouds become overcast, although not before we get a glimpse of London down below. Before we penetrate the cloud layer we enjoy a bit of cloud surfing, who else loves this? I know I do! 😆 Once below the clouds we get a great view of Bristol - extra points if you can spot Clifton Suspension Bridge! Watch as the pilots battle against the crosswind throughout the entire approach and right up until touchdown, leading to quite a wobbly approach with lots of control inputs having to be made to keep the aircraft on track. Excellent work by the pilots as always and completed with a nice landing considering the wind! 😅
