This is exactly what I'm looking for. I recently went back and watched a couple of your videos reviewing similar mic systems. This is going to help me in producing my martial arts instructional videos and when I need to record content from my training partner/instructor.
Completely amazed by how far away you were able to get and still have a signal coming in. Godox is one of my favorite budget brands. Since I am in the market for lav mics like this, they are definitely in the running. I was looking at the Hollyland in this price range to. I think the DJI and Rode are more than I need for now. Thanks for the great video.
Hi Zdenka, great timing I'm researching for mics. I would be interested in seeing a video on storage/memory. My videos are eating storage on external hard drives. Would love to hear how you manage.
Thanks for the review: had not heard of Godox before and was considering Rode, DJII, and Shure to replace our current mics. Purchased the mics and will update after using for some videos. (Was very impressed w/the flexibility of the channels and DNR, which, since we record in some very noisy locations, will be a big help.) And the range - thanks for walking back that far to test!
Great, practical review! I really like the clever way these mics snap together. The sound is good too. But it's hard to beat the DJI mic2 design that has eliminated the need for a receiver.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts…. I haven’t explored all possibilities with DJI mic yet so I cannot really comment on that… but you grabbed my attention for sure
Thnx for this great review! I never heard from this brand but I love the quality and the features of this mic. Currently I use the Hollyland M2 and I love it too. I an looking forward seeing your next videos :-)
Hi, I've been following you for a while, I find your content engaging, with in-depth explanations, which thanks to you become easy to understand for everyone, there's really nothing missing, congratulations, greetings From Italy Fabio😜
Low cut mode ON created more open clarity of speech so listening was easier. The cost of that was it changed your true personal voice I am used to hearing. For instructional content to a random audience maybe the clarity of filtering out low noise is worth it. For a documentary I would prefer not to lose the full depth of a voice.
I like watching you content even if im not really into video and vlog because i dont have the money to spend on it. But its still usefull to learn about tech and how to use them. For now im into photography. And i just ordered a freewell sherpa kit for my s24 ultra..
Great review Zdenka. Outside it sounds good; in the room it would need some post editing. I think it sounded a bit tinny, or metallic and reverby or something 🙂
Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts it really helps… I think I’m understanding a little bit more now when it comes to sound from this microphone
There was a noticeable difference with the noise reduction on. I didn’t notice as much with the other feature. I could still hear your breathing in and out. It was not a distraction. I probably would not have noticed it at all if you would not have asked me to listen for that
I'm very impressed with the noise reduction. I might have missed it, but is that a WiFi or a UHF system? Can you actually record 2 independent mono tracks with the 2 mics?
Overall it seems to be a good mic set for UA-camrs. The sound quality and noise reduction is very good. In case of Lowcut, from what I heard I prefer the OFF mode.
I have a Fulaim X5 (=Neewer CM28). I think the Godox and the Hallywell Lark M2 both sound a bit better, but I don't like the phone connection of the Godox.
Hi, i buy godox magic xt 1 and use it on my sony a7c mark 2. Everytime i mount the receiver on the hotshoe, the monitor always flip itself. Do you know how to fix that issue?
That’s a good deal. My DJI equivalent setup cost three times the amount (and I’m betting it doesn’t sound three times better). Don’t Godox make high end lights too? It’s not like they are some unknown cheap brand.
@@ZdenkaDarula I should have waited and saved some money haha. Have you heard of the new DJI Neo vlogging drone? It’s due for release today. Take a look. It might be something interesting for your channel.
Pretty much a toss up between this and the Hollyland Lark M2 at this price point. I prefer the sound quality of the Hollyland, but the user interface of the Godox makes it very attractive.
@@ZdenkaDarula Ahoy, thank yuo for your reply, the reason I asked is because I saw your review of the S24 camera performance, I'm just wondering. if you get a chance in the near future can you please do a review on that. I'm a new subscriber.
Putting it under the shirt worked but I noticed noise when moving. No blue tooth, no internal recording, but a low price and small size. Were spoiled for choice with these wireless mics.
Thank you very much for sharing what you heard. There are so many microphones on the market right now. It’s so hard to pick. But I find them this one is pretty good for the price.
When I do sponsored videos, the companies know very well that I’m gonna say whatever I wanna say. I have that rule for all the companies. For me as someone who is just starting out or wants budget friendly mic yes this would be a perfect choice. When I was starting out with the video six years ago, it would be my choice.
Thank you very much for your support and many greetings to India. I have a link in a video description below that will allow you to purchase the phone there. Those are online stores that should be able to ship to India.
That little mic packs a punch! Sounds great for the price! Thanks Zdenka!

Great review. I'm intrigued. How would you rig this up to a gimbal? Thank you for the review 🙏
You just have to use extra accessories to attach the receiver to gimbal … there are brackets for that

if you hook this to your iphone, will it record in stereo? Would like to use it as an alternative microphone for recording video on my phone.
Yes it records in stereo
I'm very impressed with the noise reduction.
I might have missed it, but is that a WiFi or a UHF system?
Can you actually record 2 independent mono tracks with the 2 mics?
It is not wifi…. Yes you should be able to record to independent mono tracks
@@ZdenkaDarula brilliant, thank you. 👍🏿 Might at that to the wish list. Because my Comica mics seem not be able to record 2 independent mono tracks.
That noise reduction was amazing.
