Forgotten bags have happened to my husband and I but we leave it but go home and go right back and pick it up.

TripleJ We had a pooper scooper for our dachshund in the 80s. With our next dachshund, we used a large kids’ sand shovel, and we actually had Cassie trained to allow the shovel to be placed to catch the 💩 before it even hit the ground! 😂
My dad preached at a church with an empty pulpit today, and one of the families had left to a church in Mass where the pastor's wife had CF, and Dad was like, "The Freys!"

If someone's dog pooped in my yard and the owner didn't have a bag, I would much rather them knock on my door and ask for one or let me know rather than picking it up with their bare hands!! Anything that comes in contact with your skin only takes 26 seconds to enter your bloodstream and even if they're healthy on the outside, poop is never healthy to handle with bare hand especially when it's fresh. You're risking toxoplasmosis, giardia, tapeworms, whipworms, hookworms, roundworms, cryptosporidiosis campylobacteriosis, salmonella, The little pieces of dry poop aren't as dangerous to handle but you can get very very sick from fresh poop even if your dog appears to be healthy!

I love how helpful you are to the community! I am the same way I got a bunch of babe Cloths and a swing plus diapers and bottles for a young mother that I met at school. It felt so good to help her! Now debating becoming a foster parent.

That was so nice of you! Back in 1985, my cousin was born at 29 weeks. It was at the height of the Cabbage Patch craze. My sister and I gathered all of our CP clothes, some of which had been hand-made by my mother’s friend, and sent it for Jessica to wear. She was the best-dressed baby in the nursery! 😊

I absolutely love how much Harry and Ollie love each other. It’s funny when you show Ollie look for and licks Harry. It’s the only dog and cat relationship I’ve ever seen. That’s funny Peter carried dog poop home. Mary do you talk to your plants? My aunt swears talking to them makes plants are healthy. I’ve also heard others say the same thing. Mary I love how you and Peter help others.

Seriously nice you did that. So many people would have left it. We’ve had people let their dogs go in our yard even when we’re sitting outside. And start walking away and leave the mess. We live in an RV park so there isn’t much yard to enjoy in the first place. My hub doesn’t hesitate to get after them. He’s held the dog leash while they go back and get a bag! Mary even if you do never meet the mom you blessed I imagine she won’t forget your generous heart! It truly is better to give then to receive. I love banana bread and have a super simple recipe which I love to bake up and surprise people with. So much fun! Bless you both!

It must have been right before your feeding tube surgery, and it just made me realize how amazing the feeding tube was, and now looking back from seeing how much Trikafta has changed your life for the better. I’m so happy for you!

I've over watered and under watered plants too. Sometimes it's hard to tell.
OMG, no one in my neighborhood would pick up their dogs poo by hand, let alone carry a poo bag. Good for you Peter. I however would have went home and drove back to get it. I have a poo bag holder hooked to the leash, so I know for sure if I have bags with me. Dollar Tree store usually has the poo bag roll holders.

Ice cubes might work for cacti.
Yes...I was going to recommend the same thing. My orchid came with instructions to “water” by placing three ice cubes at the base once a week. Works like a charm for my succulents and orchid! 💧

Dog walk bags that you can attach to the leash are helpful to have because you always have them when needed most and no poop hands
That's commitment dude. I'd just have come back later with a bag. Not like the poo is going anywhere. You also might want to invest in one of those scooper devices. Makes life so much easier.

I was once walking my neighbours dog and I always brought 2 bags, bc he often went twice.. we no idea what was up but he went 3x one day. Thankfully it was between the sidewalk and the bushes so it wasn’t where anyone would step (well usually!). Some lady stopped me to yell at me to clean it up. I told her I only brought two bags, and this was usual, he went again, basically in the bushes. And no I did not go back for it, probably should have, in case.

Have you seen those cat beds that can plug in and the body pressure of the cat sitting in them makes them heat up. Bet Harry would love that. My cat that passed spent hours in hers

Peter, I commend you for picking up the poo with your hands! I see so many people walking their dogs and they just don't care about picking up the poo and just leave it in their neighbors yard or wherever they are walking.
We have a poop bag holder attached to the leash for our current dog. I would have gone home and gotten a bag and come back to pick it up. I’ve had to do that before when we had our Rottweiler those little bags weren’t enough for her giant poops. I would carry a grocery bag one and sometimes that stinker would decide to poop twice after I had already thrown the poop bag away in the park trash can!

I used a cleaner mop set like that when I was a home health aide and instead of using the pedal I was able to just push down with the mop and it would spin it for me. It was so much more easy to push down with the mop instead of trying to use my foot. I would’ve fallen on my butt if I used my foot
That’s happened to me before but luckily I knocked on their door and was able to ask if they had a bag I could use. Did you use cool lights on the cactus??

Aww Peter, you’re the real MVP. That’s happened to me so many times but thankfully Birdie is so small her poo’s are like tootsie rolls & I can pick them up with leaves (still usually manage to get poo on my hands tho ...)
Oh no Peter - that's so much commitment, I have had a similar experience but I DID NOT pick it up with my hands, I went home, got a bag and came back and picked up the poop - Picking up the po-po with bare hands that's NEXT LEVEL :D
