I’ve always liked Deere equipment. These two factory tours confirmed my belief that Deere makes quality equipment . . . and it’s American made. Who ever made the decision to let you make videos . . . Made a wise choice! Thanks Tim!
God this video makes my year. I've been in mfg almost my whole career. I will retire soon and felt like I survived. kind of survivors guilt from the past 22 years). Every plant I was at closed and mfg moved overseas. I was lucky and relocated every time but man to see mfg going good here you don't know how this makes me feel and that I decided on a 2038r. I thought it was all foreign too, like the kabota. Man keep up the good work. Go JD.
Proud owner of 3039R and is by far a dream machine of mine. It’s such a great honor to own a piece of equipment that is built by the hard working men and women of America and my home state Georgia at that.
Great video Tim! Thank you to all the folks at John Deere that did such a great job building my 4066R. The quality of that machine is second to none and it is because of the dedication and hard work of folks like you all. Thank you for what you do everyday!!!
Do folks get paid to give a "thumbs down" on such a good educational video. Thanks for all the time, money, and energy you put into making these videos.
Tim and Christy, you have had a wonderful opportunity to tour the factory and to present it to us. all the people and the assembly lines show the commitment Deere has to providing a truly great product. Hopefully you may get a chance to be a spokesman for Deere as they watch what you have provided in these videos and your past years promoting their product.
Tim this is very educational most people think factorys are bad but American has come a long ways we appreciate the good work dolks put into the products we buy God Bless All PaK
It is a fine job tractor time with Tim you learn a lot of skills tractor time with Tim is a van nice job tracking him I liked what they doing it with you guys doing to.
Hi Tim and Christy it really is amazing to see the work that goes into the making of a tractor I think you should have your owen tv show ordinary people like me would never get to see this without like you thanks Tim and Christy great video
Loved that video.. Really impressed by the work these folks do and how well coordinated and controlled the process is. Makes me very proud to own a Deere! Thanks for sharing!
Really nice people there. I'm impressed with their supervisor's educational backgrounds and JohnDeere's production line, it seems like a foolproof way to build their fine tractors, thanks for the video Tim. 🙋♂️
Tim thanks for making this video I was thinking about buying another brand of tractor but after watching this video in the quality control and the teamwork I think I’m buying the green machine thanks Tim
Tim and Christie you guys do a beautiful job with your videos. One thing I have noticed on this video is that they build the whole tractor right at the factory, not like some of the other tractors companies they ship them have built and they leave it up to the dealers to finish the process of putting them back together. The problem I have with that is a lot of these dealers are just out for the quick buck turnaround thy don’t really care. John Deere put them all together right there at the factory I think that’s great.
I thoroughly enjoy these factory videos, and they give me a hankering to see what jobs they have that I might be qualified for. Looks like a great place to work. I liked the chair near the end that was labelled "chair". lol
Fascinating episodes Tim. Thoroughly enjoyed them and your interactions with the employees. I don't think I'd even be qualified to walk in the front door with all those engineers around. Tall cotton you were in! LOL!
I have a 3032E tractor and love the way it is built and still have a 790 tractor which is nice also and I love the way it is built also. Both of my tractors have given me great service and I got them new and sure would love to visit one of their factories and see how the tractors are built in person. Those people are doing a fine job and seem to be well qualified to do the job and produce quality products. The people who work for the company must be among the greatest of American workers and I love their quality work and can attest to the quality of the products since I have two of the company's products and enjoy them, along with their lawn mower.
1987 I toured the JD engine works and was able to film also, rode around on a trailer with school seats pulled by a lawn tractor, water was all recycled, clean plant.
Wow this video hit me hard and my next tractor WILL be a Green one ☝️AMERICAN JOBS ! Seriously I have owned a dozen machines and will own a DEERE next ! Thanks for opening my eyes again.
Many years ago I'd been to the Volvo and Saturn factory to see how our cars were built but never been to a Deere one to see how my tractor was made! Thanks for making another dream come true!
I'm in the UK and bought my John Deere 3 series purely based on the fact its made in the USA.... The UK and EU are saturated by Chinese products badged in different ways...... Great product guys (& gals).... 👍
Watched messick video why it takes so long to get a tractor. I found that they at the dealer must put the dang gone tractor together. Like they don't test the tractor like they do there at Deere. They rely on shop techs to finish the assembly. I myself find that a bit of a quality concern for customer. Like the warranty issues and how they are resolved. Much less down time. I feel Deere makes a very good product and stand behind it. Thanks for the video people need to know this stuff to make the best decision on what to spend there hard earned money on. These things are not cheap!! Thanks again Tim for a great video.
Tractor time with Tim that's a transmission right there tractor time with Tim Alpha B for those John Deere tractor tell me all about the 2019 tractors in a 2020 tractors and all the features.
I found this really interesting. I have a Kubota B2650. From your video I see that the tractor is completely assembled at the factory which differs greatly from Kubota. Kubota ships their tractors only partially assembled and a lot of the assembly is actually done at the dealership.
@@Tortuga89R I love my 3032e also, I'm very pleased with Yanmar engines. Our JD 950 was purchased in 1984 and starts first time every time, it's hard to beat Japanese quality in these small diesel engines.

Now this is a "feel good" video! So glad you were able to make another one of the plant! 👨🌾🚜👩🌾👍
Couldn’t have said it better myself 👍🏻. Definitely going with Deere for my next purchase. Great videos from both of you guys.
Pretty neat to see where my tractor was a couple weeks ago! I love seeing American workers building American goods!!

Thank you John Deere for allowing us to see the inside of your factory...very well done !
Those employees are inspiring. Makes me proud to own a 4066R and appreciative of what they do.
Now I know 1000% I’m buying a JD when the time comes 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Seeing this video makes me happy that I chose a brand new JOHN DEERE 3 Series tractor! I love my pudgie lil' green workhorse!

I'm referring to Kubota Tim
Eric Laker That's exactly right! I watched the same video and that's a very brilliant and astute observation on your part.

It was a pretty exciting day!

while I still love my 3032e, the engine is Yanmar. I haven't seen where it's assembled though since these are R series in this video.
