- Опубліковано 17 січ 2023
- We are fishing out of Marco Island, Florida today and running deep into the Gulf of Mexico sight fishing for Cobia. We ran around from wreck to wreck and fished old Air Force relay towers. These structures provide refugee for bait and predators like Cobia like to hang around these structure's.

Vic is my favorite fisherman....and chef!!!! Everything he does is 5star!!! His dishes are by far better than you can find at any restaurant!!!
The Julie Ann is Rusty Bellies shrimp boat in Tarpon Springs, FL! Great place to eat.
Thanks for introducing me via your videos to Tanner @ Reel Deal. He took us out yesterday and wore us out with all the fish we caught!
I'm surprised you don't make your own mayo. You can use a stick blender and a Mason jar, super easy
when Vic said “…was that a shark?” and quietly tightened his drag that was bad ass.
No cobia fobia with these fishermen and girl. Cobia fishing is definitely in a class of its own. Y'all rock!😰
I love watching fish videos
Great catch and I absolutely LOVED the cooking part! Even got the philosophy and correct methodology of cooking! AND EXPLAINING WHY AS WELL?!
BE MY FRIEND?!
I feel like I'm not only being entertained but also educated on the fish species and the area. Very interesting video!
That saragosa sounds like it’s been thru some stuff lol
We're on opposite parts of the country - I'm in the PNW. Watching your videos gets me excited to go visit some relatives in Naples and make some time for myself to go fishing out there. I really appreciate that you showcase your fishing prowess yet what draws me most to your channel is the attention you pay to cooking the bounty you pull from the ocean. I take note of your recipes but may use pacific lingcod, albacore, or pacific halibut instead of what you fish up. Your recipes are high-end restaurant worthy.
For me, sharing with loved ones is the best part about harvesting from the land/water. The way you "wow" those around you with your techniques and recipes is something I aspire to! Cheers!
Thank you for watching!
"Sight fishing with our eyes", top notch dad joke.
Me and the pier boys were wondering where all the bluefish were, guess the blues decided to follow you guys offshore 😂
hahah yeah they were tearing up the plastics
That's the last thing I expected to see them catch out there.
@@LandsharkOutdoors If I'm able to come to Florida at the end of April and the beginning of May will you take me out Deep Sea Fishing?
Florida has some of the best fishing man. NC here
Vik, try and get a tag for goalith grouper! We need a catch and cook! Would be you tube's first ever!
Vic a humbling person within your fishing skill and awesome attitude towards people surrounding you that's what I like about your channel and like I said before an excellent cooking skill that is unique to the style of cooking a Learning experience jigging for Cobia
My God Vic recipes are out of this world thank u so much
WHHHYYYY!!!! LOLOL Victor, you threw out one of the best parts. The collar. 😭😭😭
Im so glad (and I very much hope not to jinx you) that your a channel thats still active, with still a great humble and respectful vibe, it takes me back to when I use to fish with my grandparents. I hope you continue to make videos and being a friendly smile on the other side of the screen
Great Video Vic! I love to cook and love to present it beautifully. You knocked it out of the park!!! Also, I've never seen a whole fish escape a shark robbing like that!! Great video!!
Glad to see you’re still pumping out videos! Learned a lot from your videos so far
Thank you very much for your videos! Some people may changes to their videos but you are still the same thank you very much! And thank Brooke also!
One of my top favourite channel. Fishing and cooking on PRO level, yeah this is what I love. I wish I'd be there. Great video, thank you so so much. Great wishes from Hungary.
What a great video. The fishing was spectacular, But while you were making the dinner, my mouth was watering. Great video.
Glad you got a new ride it looks great going out in the morning wish me luck
If any of you guys have never done the mayo hack it works great on mangrove snapper, red fish and especially trout. We just cover the top side of the fish with Mayo then add what ever seasoning you like. 100% do not use fat free mayo or miracle whip. It has to be regular mayo. We have been cooking with Mayo for as long as ive been alive and thats 50 years .
Add onions, bacon pieces and Parmesan cheese ;)
Damn you Victor! Here I sat with my mouth drooling.
So many unique items to this dish I love it!!
Fisher is a real friend lol
That's some strong kitchen game. Good vid
That sauce for the fish is delicious. We had it tonight.
Victor, catching up with your videos and this dish looks amazing. I can taste it through my screen brother. 😋 !!!
Great video 👍🏽 very detailed instruction in slicing the whole fish. Cool catching too 😊
My eyes rolled back and I started frothin when I saw that entree in completion
I enjoyed this vid! Less screeching and whooping than the other guys. Subscribed!
That fish is still on my bucket list. Haven’t gotten a legal one in the boat but I keep trying lol! Great video Vic!
Best of luck James! Next trip is gonna be a big keeper!
Please do a whole cooking episode with Bryan. He’s hilarious and a very enthusiastic eater.
WoW! fisherchef. God bless u all.
Looks awesome as always, thanks Vic
Watching you go fishing is amazing.you have sea fishing scenes like in paradise 👍
Grear video. I love how landshark’s brand of talent. Really interesting individual
Love watching you guys. I hope you put out a cookbook at some point.
That's the best part of fishing in saltwater you will always see something new. Great video
Well the cool thing is, you didn't have to leave Florida, just a long ride to the tower. Those Cobia were hefty too bad the limit was per boat and not per person. Excellent recipe as well Vic I could have nightmares knowing I'll probably never get a plate that awsome. Wish Brooke could have caught 1. Limits suck sometimes. Keep up the great vids guys, love yall!!!
The "sugar trout" are called silver perch. We get them around the bridges up here in jersey. Don't get too big but they taste good
neat little fish
@LandsharkOutdoors great bait. Awesome channel by the way
I can always use some cooking tips..Nice video Vic
throwing bluefish back aligators are my favorite to catch
I think this video is one of the best Victor has done - rigging - catching - filleting - cooking and eating - I hope I get invited to one of his dinners
Awesome video! I truly enjoy watching “ the gang “ getting it done. The recipe looked delicious. You guys killed it on this one!
Stay safe out there!
High level cooking right there!
You are an inspiration to me Sir... your videos are education and entertainment at the same time!! Cobia is one of my favorite fish to eat....that recipe at the end is a must try for me!!
I just moved to Palm Bay, Florida....see you on the water🎣
You channel is so good. Great fishing. Kudos to the crew as well.
still find it funny you're talking about "winter" fish with a bright blue sky behind you and a tan haha
Cobia is a good fight and good on the table.
It's a big ol pink bass senko plastic!!!! Crazy!!! I always like trying to see if cross lures will work for different fish!!
Chef Victor you are one of the best cooks I have seen on this channel even some of the guys who don't fish but just cook you blow them away bro I don't know where you learned it at but you blow them away the video is off the chain you do the most clean and cook and catches there is and that's awesome that's what it's about fishing and eating and eating good
Thank you Vincent! It’s a pleasure to cook for friends and family and one day I’d love too cook for my subscribers!
the content is always fire. cobia is one of my favorite eating fish of all time and one of the hardest to come by at that. cheers from hillsboro inlet
Absalutely nice catch cleen cook and eating superb
Great fishdish - love that you are cooking for real!!! Fun fact: No one is using a knife.....
no need to!
Sandwich spread or thousand island is 🔥 wit tuna. Best tuna I ate, we caught 70 miles off the coast Texas. Way better than anything out of the can. Crazy that day I saw so many sharks, because they usually can’t catch tuna unless it’s stuck on the line. Awesome video.
Awesome trip guys!!!!
Great fishing 🎣 and awesome video as always.
Those are silver perch we call them butterfish over here in the Tampa Bay area. Can be good live bait and have heard they are very good eating and have a sweet meat.
Silver perch and what a meal you cooked up. Your creativity is mazing! Outstanding.
Good on the boat, good in the kitchen. Respect, man.
Awesome place like in paradise 👍 amazing fishing, love this video ❤
Surprised you've never seen sugar trout. I remember catching tons over on Anna Maria.
One of the most versatile baitfish.
Wow that did look good I love watching your videos Keep up your Awesome videos and the way you cook them
Oh damn!!! Nice job Vic!
camera guy is thinking, "BEST JOB EVER!!!!!!!!". the sights, sounds, smells, views, and food that this guy has to deal with for a job... sign me up lmao
In VA I’ve only caught cobe’s on live eels, cool to see other lures and techniques being used. By far my favorite species.
Absolutely my favorite fish by a long shot. I could eat it every day. I still remember the first time I had it at a little mom n pop spot on the beach back in 1998 and have been addicted since.
Cobia is so good. The catch for us was that we were on a cargo ship anchored outside of Tampa with not the best rods and reels using pinfish. We also had a 40 ft freeboard that we had to use a triple grapple hook gaff to pull it up. Caught the limit of two and had good fresh fish for two days.
sounds like a great day
@@LandsharkOutdoors one of the best on the ship
Good break from the engine room
Remember how far out you were?
Cobia is on the list! damn that cast netting job was epic!
That meal looks so good
This is an excellent recipe grilled Cobia. Keep it up, I watch your excellent videos. You are a real adventurist. God Bless. I shared your video on my face book page, for my young nephew in Jordan to enjoy watching your fishing skill. I hope you don't mind.
yeah buddy! nice job vic. I actualyl caught my first cobia on a pompano jig, 36 incher. That proves that the cobia eat anything
Landshark says to his audience when he hooks a shark... "That's not want you want folks!" 😹
Those "sugar trout" are really common in Texas we call them yellowtail but the official name is silver perch
Nice fishing bro. It looks delicious
wow such cool fish victor! those fish look exactly like a brown shark in the water! SICK
That bluefish is the big big cobia bait. I caught my 98lb cobia on a 2 1/2 pound bluefish. Seriously cobia love em
I had a blue fish fresh out of the water in mountauk. I slide it thin on a bias used flour egg breadcrumbs and fried it till golden brown and made fried fish burgers it was amazing. Thanks Pete.
Y’all didn’t even have to wash the plates after y’all ate because they were so clean.
J/K. It looked delicious! Awesome vid. Stay safe and God Bless
You make such GOURMET food! Good job 😊
Thank you for watching!
Great cooking ideas!
😂I’m finally the first person to comment on one your videos!! I’d love to come and fish with u guys someday, especially go fishing after snake heads!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Well kinda 😂😂
Wow I wish I was there great job
When I cook Chinook Salmon I fillet it then I brush Mayo on it and sprinkle Dill on it and bake it for 20 minutes at 350 or till done and it is delicious. When you get out to the Pacific Coast again try it you will like it!
Quite the Chef as well I see captain! I used to fish Charlotte Harbor and out but. No more boat. In SC now. Saving this incase I come down to visit my sister. I'll have to look you up!
What a great video.I really enjoyed watching it.
Once the Blacktips jump and spin its game over but super cool to see and they fight like hell
Seems to me there are way more sharks now than when I was in HighSchool in Florida in the early 90’s.
“We are going to be sight fishing these guys with our eyes”. Classic, what else can you sight fish with? 😂😂😂
Drone, helicopter, pterodactyl.
Im 67 and caught my only cobia when I was 16. Best eating fish.
Heck yeah Vic really enjoy watching your videos 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Good few hrs ot fishing there.this is why I watch your vids.u doit rite..stavsafe..
We used to call them silver trout, Choctawhatche Bay. Delicious.
We call them sand perch is over here or up here in Jacksonville Florida they're really popular red fish bait it's almost like a pin fish and a weak trout had a baby..
Its very nice to see that you have included RICE in your meal. :) It would be good if you could post fishing rig related tutorials, just like the old days. Cheers
