You really do have some of the best content on UA-cam. It's nice to see someone who lives so close to me doing so well. Congrats on all the well earned success!!!
Man, I love hearing great feedback like that! I just love to fish and appreciate the good Lord for putting it there for us! Thank you so much for the support!
You out-do yourself with each new video! OMG! Mangrove, triple tails, and chickens, all in one trip? Unheard of! I think you are the king of local channels! Please give us more!
I so enjoy your fishing videos. I can't get enough of them. I feel like I'm right there with you fishing and when you hook onto a fish my heart is beating and I become anxious about what the fish is and can you land it and not lose it. Also I learn new things from your knowledge . Thanks for sharing your knowledge with me. I really appreciate it.
Mobile Alabama is a 16 hour drive from where I live up North. This channel has convinced me that Mobile is going to be the destination of my next fishing trip. I especially like the idea of the restaurants down there that will cook your catch.
Always loved fishing in the GOM You never know what you'll be hooking into. Yeah, it is for sure hot hot hot at times. Miles of reflective surface everywhere. There's times it's like sticking your head in the oven to check the biscuits, but there's no door to close.
your laughter makes me smile every time, I'll just be watching and the next thing I know is I'm smiling at the screen lol! I so enjoy every one of your shared experiences! I wish more were as thoughtful as you, after seeing you handle the sharks as you do and to see others just cut the line, makes me wish they knew how to do things! I know it is dangerous, but man do you h-a-n-d-l-e them great!!
I have never fished off shore only inshore and in rivers and bays along the Mississippi Coast. It does look quiet and peaceful, the clarity of the water was evident when you released that snapper. I really enjoyed this video, thank you. Stay safe and tight lines.
Getcha a couple of sticks of foam Pipe insulation and put on your rail where your fishing at.... That's an old school trick for us old salty dogs....so we can use the rail instead of our wore out backs... RTR
Fun stuff. At 2:38 and 3:42 , it looked like some remora had found your boat as cover and came out to investigate. Love those tripletail. Small juveniles would sometimes wash into Boca Inlet with the sargassum and they'd look like yellow or brown leaves.
just some friendly advice,...so if you want to get the bigger ones; on your first drop go all the way to the bottom and count how long it takes to get there say a 20 count and the on your second drop stop at 15 cause the bigger ones are up off of the bottom,...good luck. ROLL TIDE!!!
Never even heard of a triple tail! Cool looking fish. As for the snapper, you were doing good 👍 I recently found your show, watched one video and subscribed! Love it, keep the videos coming please , I'll be waiting 😃 Thanks
So I see you doing popper fishing on several of your video's. Have you ever caught GT's or have I just missed your video's where you did. Yes....lol I am still jealous of your cast net abilities.
I always carry a ziploc bag to put my GoPro in and submerge it in ice while I'm out. 5 minutes in ice will buy alot of time when dealing with our Gulf heat.
Another great video 🤣 ..... There is no wind, which is not too good because you will have breathing difficulty eventually so it's best to just hang around and leave .... You just went to the fish market and grab some groceries 😂😂 good job .... Keep up the good work 👍👍
I love your channel , I've been layed up since last November so no fishing, so I go with you and bearded Brad on UA-cam , its ok but it doesn't get groceries 😂.
This on Monday? Water quality is nice out there. Went to the state line this weekend. Sunday and Monday it was slick. It was hot after 10 o'clock yesterday. Did ok on topwater. Rapala skitter v
If you need a left hand conventional that's compact and powerful to ease some strain on the hand look into siegler reels. Made by hand in virginia. They make most everything in left hand as well as right
I looked at those after you commented this! Those are really nice, wish I had seen them a while ago before I purchased my other reels. Thanks for the suggestion!
Hey man, love your work and care for the fishery. Just wondering if those fish that came out from under your boat at 2:37 were sharks or just the mum and baby dolphin? I know here is australia they follow the boat from the previous spot to prey on exhausted fish. interesting to get your take on the sharks and how they play a role👍👍. also like your comment on getting no meat off the undersize tripletail, its beyond me why some of our size limits are less than 10 inches on fish
Quick question for those of us who don't know. What does an outing like this (60 miles or more round trip) cost you in fuel and in other expenses? On behalf of your subs, THANK YOU for bringing us these great videos!
Hey bama. Love the content. Just got back from Orange Beach and caught a bunch of Bonito. Any tips on cooking them? I’ve heard they are difficult to prepare. Any tips?
who else watched 1 video of him then cant stop watching him
Facts!🔥👑
Seems like a genuinely good fellow! Love his videos. I got my son-in-law and my brother watching him now as well.
Hahaha for real his videos are awesome tho!😆
Me
Literally everyone🤣🤣🤣
That second dolphin almost jumped in the boat he was so fired up!
Yeah he did!!
The thing about this guy is he truly loves to fish. Seems like other guys are just making videos. This guy has the passion.
You really do have some of the best content on UA-cam. It's nice to see someone who lives so close to me doing so well. Congrats on all the well earned success!!!
Thank you for the kind words!
One of the finest dudes on UA-cam. Always look forward to new content when it rolls out.
Man, I love hearing great feedback like that! I just love to fish and appreciate the good Lord for putting it there for us! Thank you so much for the support!
I agree for the same reasons to call the fish Mahi or Dorado, keep trying that big popper its a must do. Nice day to be out at sea
Yup! And I love catching fish on the popper. I managed a few AJ's earlier in the year doing the same thing. It's fun
You out-do yourself with each new video! OMG! Mangrove, triple tails, and chickens, all in one trip? Unheard of! I think you are the king of local channels! Please give us more!

Another awesome one! Thank the lord up above!!!
Good day out, great dinner in your cooler. Just keep hydrated, heat and sun can be rough
Yes! That heat can be relentless! It's still much better while fishing rather than being in full kit training in Ft. Hood sun in July!
Always loved fishing in the GOM
You never know what you'll be

That vermillion at 7:40 was huge !
It was a stud !
I really like watching you fish Steve.
Love this channel very relaxing to watch early morning
Absolutely love this guy he’s so genuine and he’s always catching giants! I have literally watched every one of your videos there addicting.
Ditto
I love when it's quiet on the water especially at night 😊
I really respect how in most cases you throw the smaller ones back to grow!
your laughter makes me smile every time, I'll just be watching and the next thing I know is I'm smiling at the screen lol! I so enjoy every one of your shared experiences! Usually I'm mostly trying to study techniques and tackle, but I like just watching this guy fish. Bonus that he includes techniques and tackle.
I have never fished off shore only inshore and in rivers and bays along the Mississippi Coast. It does look quiet and peaceful, the clarity of the water was evident when you released that snapper. I really enjoyed this video, thank you. Stay safe and tight lines.
Thank you, it's not always like that, but when it is, it's mesmerizing for sure
I’m loving this content!! I grew up near Port o’Connor and have been out in the gulf a lot. Unfortunately, all I used to catch were hard heads!! 😂
Can we appreciate the jellyfish at 2:17
Thank you for your service brother
Awesome post! I’m dragging my boat to Ft Morgan towards the end of the month. Can’t wait!
Good luck!
Would love to fish with him!!! Learning so much from his videos
Another great video, I can"t. say enough, but keep em comin.
Beautiful day out there. Thanks for sharing!
BN dolphin breaking surface at about 5:30.
At 4:20, that snapper that you kept. Was that a worm on its tail fin?! I know some fish have worms but that things massive lol
Love how you explain what ur using very helpful
Thanks. I love the triple tail. Never seen one before.

Yes! They would keep trying to steal my bait in the way down lol. Kind of annoying haha, And that's cool! Yes, they look just like floating debris.
@@BamaSaltwater Never forget finding one on my surfboard. It was purpleish and made me wonder if there were sharks close by (of course there were)
Love the fishing Capt. Great job!!!!

Was a great day! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for commenting and supporting the *Channel!
Your videos are always entertaining. Thank you
Appreciate the kind words !
I just listed my home in Memphis, so won’t be long till I make my first cast into saltwater! I’m headed to Pensacola !
Never even heard of a triple tail! Cool looking fish. As for the snapper, you were doing good 👍 I recently found your show, watched one video and subscribed! Love it, keep the videos coming please , I'll be waiting 😃 Thanks
Awesome catches! A mahi is one of my bucket list fish that I hope to catch one day!
I used to live in Florida and I used feed wild dolphins all the time and even swam with a few ❤❤❤❤❤
Just subscribed yesterday! Because I watch your videos on tic tok and love em

Thanks again man!
They are tasty !
Another great post. Glad I found you, like a year ago. Now living in Az, I'm glad I can catch a glimpse of home on your channel. Thank you.
So I see you doing popper fishing on several of your video's. Have you ever caught GT's or have I just missed your video's where you did. Yes....lol I am still jealous of your cast net abilities.

What a great channel man! Love your vids!
I would love to see a video fishing vintage saltwater lures.
day 4 of asking for a rod and reel arsenal
I would like a video on this as well! Full gear haul/review!
At 5:28 was that a dolphin or what that hit the surface? Lol
I always carry a ziploc bag to put my GoPro in and submerge it in ice while I'm out. 5 minutes in ice will buy alot of time when dealing with our Gulf heat.
Loved the trip out, awesome assortment of fish.
Sitting here eating left over Grouper from Bubba's near Orange and Perdito Key. The water looks great without all those Thunder Storms hanging around.
Love your videos, really support you. Keep up the amazing work!
3:42 - was that an EEL or a shark that followed the snapper??
On the part 4:32 see down on the reel you can see a fish
I canNOT believe how calm it is that far out in the Gulf of Metsico! 🤭😉
Yeah it's been really slick the past week.
Thanks for the amazing video. keep up the amazing work and taking us along. God Bless and stay safe 🙏
You are going to cause me to have to come down there and fish. LOL!!
I’m coming down the last 2 weeks of October. I’m thinking you should take me fishing. 😀
Good luck!!! October is an excellent month !
Thanks for sharing this awesome fishing trip.

Did anybody see the shark fin in the top left corner at 5:31 and past
Love your videos

Very trusting on your motor to restart..... guys I went out with never shut them down offshore
Enjoyed video presentation a lot! I liked your popper technique, just wondering the type of Rod and Reel you used?
You want to hear some eerily quiet? Come hog hunting at the ranch in west Texas!!

Looks like a lot of fun! Great video, keep em coming!

New video! Heck yea!!

Last charter I went on was for Tuna, this was 2 weekends ago, and we went out 35 miles and cost me $110. There were only 5 other guys on the boat. So.
It is flat calm here at sebastian inlet Florida
4:31 What’s that knife you got there I’ve never seen it?
It's a Sord 5" Utility Knife, here's a link for ya: sordfishingproducts.com/sord-fillet-knives/5-utility-knife?aff=4
Love the vids man, went for some porgie the other day came home with bucket of 30, love the 30 a person limit in Rhode Island
Awesome!!
Hey bama. Love the content. Just got back from Orange Beach and caught a bunch of Bonito. Any tips on cooking them? I’ve heard they are difficult to prepare. Any tips?
Fun video.
Hi, are the dolphin fish tasty?
See the jellies are still thick! Enjoy the content bud. Thank you!
Yes ! They're everywhere haha, thank you
Is it possible to catch nice pelagic fish like the east coast of Florida out there?
You sound under the weather a little in this video. But great video and of course education that you provide in all of your videos!
Nice looking catches
Thank ya!
