This is so true! I’m struggling now with my own personal hurdles that have led to a depletion of my self love & confidence. Which in turn manifested how I allowed myself to be treated within my Romantic relationships. I didn’t respect myself enough to have any boundaries

9 months ago. I was the most loveable person to myself and I allowed someone to take that away from me because I started giving too much of myself. He was loving me back the same way... then got comfortable and stop loving me the same way and I lost myself.... its the most horrible feeling and its a dark place....

You love yourself when you know and meet your own needs. Knowing and meeting your own needs is self-love. When you know your needs, you know your boundaries, as a result. Knowing your boundaries safeguards you from getting with a toxic person.
If you have a problem of getting with toxic people, it happens because there are parts of yourself you still haven't loved; and you need that person to meet the needs that you're supposed to meet yourself. The same goes for the toxic person who got with you, because he/she wanted you to meet the needs the person in question is supposed to deal with.

Thank You. SELF LOVE IS THE BEST LOVE. I totally get it now. I might be too old to find Love now that i'm 50. Or am i kidding myself? I woke up on January 1, 2023 and i decided to choose me and Love me again. I decided i like me. So i started my New Life Journey this January 2023 including Loving myself more instead of putting all of my Effort in finding Mr. Right and they all end up being Mr. Wrong.
When i turned 50 i had a new outlook on Life and Dating and realized my WORTH and i'm so glad i did.

TRUTH. My fiancee came into my life at the PEAK of my self love journey. I was so content and beaming love outward.
And this is why I’m working the steps with a sponsor (I’m an addict in recovery, coming up on 15mos clean Feb 5th 2023) so that I am healed & can love myself better, so I attract less damaged and broken women.

Yes yes this is so true y'all. Folks can feel your self-love. No one is drawn to negative energy but negative people. I love that I am someone who people love to see coming but hate to see me leave. I can make another person smile just from me smiling. People are drawn to me even those I don't know and it's a joyful feeling. Self-love is a powerful tool and beautiful at the same time. I get what you are saying, but I think you have to remember that insecure/toxic people are drawn to ppl who have qualities that they wish to possess. So we attract both the right and wrong type of ppl. Discernment isn't meant to protect you from never encountering these ppl, it gives us the ability to recognize these ppl when they enter our space so we can set proper boundaries and prevent getting into relationships with them. You WILL attract toxic people, but YOU, yourself will not be attracted to toxic people. ppl who lack self love are attracted to toxic ppl and then become trapped in the addictive cycles that come with those relationships.

I agree with the reflection part but a lot of times those people wanting to come in because of your vibes is because they want that for themselves, or they see something they want to take or manipulate. You can be love and love yourself but you must also have discernment because sometimes those reflections are really illusions and you just have the foresight to see the truth.
You don't always attract someone to love you, sometimes they want to dim your love and your light.

I love my self I work hard and still get a lot of waste men who just want to play with me and waste my time … I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but I’m hopeful and still do good/ be good to ppl
If you have engaged in intimacy with those men, it means you don't love yourself.
Don’t listen to that person above me. But I will say don’t engage in physical activities too soon with men. Ultimately, we get what we think we deserve on a subconscious level. Identify your limiting beliefs. Write down, and meditate on the opposite.

I have seen people heal from the love they received from others. We even see this in abused animals. The problem with lacking self-love is usually about understanding boundaries and living in fear. Once someone is taught to do this through effective communication, a healing process can happen in the presence of love. It’s just that this requires REAL love and commitment from your partner, but most people want easy relationships… so they require you to be fully confident and whole first.
Not all broken people are mean to others. Some prefer to hurt themselves and need healing to stop.
You not only need self love, knowing your worth, you MUST vet people and use discernment. You don’t just let everyone in.. people that truly house love and compassion? Are the biggest magnets for takers. They want what you have. Some will take until they destroy you too. There’s no rule or law that you have to dip into your well for everyone! Find the worthy.
Law of attraction is just the law of mirroring which is how our brains are designed.. that's why we get a reflection of how we're feeling without exception
Preach! We attract many people for various reasons. It's up to us who to let into our lives. Our self love and the trust in our discernment/intuition/gut is what guides us to who is good for us.

When have people putting you down abusing you, judging you for being different, it's hard to put out love even when you try. I love who I am and it's difficult to stay focused when people tare you down and have hurt you out of jealousy or because your different. If we all radiate love and care for everyone be open to understanding about others ,the world would start making more possitive Connections with new people.People judge others to much before getting to know them. You can feel the energy of others at times judging acting like they are better than everyone else by badmouthing others, judging they dont even know this person. I've heard people do this. Degrading others about their looks or status. I'm learning to not care about others thoughts and ignore , but there are times when you feel bad energy from others its hard to shut it down. you can't help but feel upset about the injustice.we need to shut these people down when they do it. We all, not a few of us ,need to radiate love towards human kind.

Also why if someone doesn’t love you it has more to do with them and their capacity to love than it does with you, because people who love themselves find it easy to love others. Unfortunately so much of this has to do with whether or not people had the privilege of being treated well as a child. Trauma makes love and trust of self and others a lot of work to achieve

Men have always told me, it matters in the way you advertise yourself via the clothes you wear. The Tight parts, form fitted dresses, low cut shirts all spell out SEX to them. “Easy access, minimum effort”.
When you lead with your BODY instead of your smile & mind, that’s exactly what they’ll go for. Also… they’ve said lacefronts/lashes/nails/heavy makeup play a role too. That it spells out “too high maintenance/temporary fun”, instead of future wife.
Most of the time its really about the guy and what type of time he is on. Men first get attracted to your physicality but it is up to you the woman to observe and discern whether that man will be in it for the long hall or not through process of elimination. Men are always going to be attracted to the physicality of a woman.
