Alex, You should buy a HEPA Air Purifier and run it in the room you are working in. We can see the dust floating in the air. We've found there's less down time recovering from sinus, lung problems since we've started using them. We love your videos. Added. The units are really portable. We have 3 Winix units. They process the air efficiently and the air that flows out is cool in temperature.
I agree that the amount of dust is concerning, but I think the light on the camera reflects off the dust and it shows up kind of exaggerated especially on camera. If your vacuum cleaner has LED headlights near the floor, and you've ever vacuumed in the dark, you've experienced this same phenomenon with the dust and light. It's bananas how much more dust, hair, lint etc. is visible because of that direct light.
I see a lot of antique furniture in good condition and old stuff in original boxes that will sell very well. Other than dust, looks pretty clean in there. Please take care from the dust. I love all your videos..... 😊 You and your beautiful family and friends helping you be blessed..... 🙏⚘❤😊
Whenever I watch these videos, it gives me motivation to keep de-cluttering my stuff, so that when I'm gone (in the far future), no one will have to clean up after me 📦
This is exactly what it does for me, in fact, I have started organizing some things and cleaning as I watch and listen. I was getting depressed earlier, but now I am motivated. Sadly, I also would like to go to an estate sale or something, even more, lol 😂😂 which sends me back into the same cycle. If y'all get a smaller house, the key is to never let yourself start to fill it up. It is even harder to sort a smaller house even if less stuff.
Me too... I've really missed the treasure hunting part of the process. Plus, Alex has gloves 🧤 this time however, in my opinion he needs to wear a dust filter mask 😷! Masks...is anyone else over them?
Oh goodness. I love seeing these types of clean-out videos! The Potter’s House was my introduction to your channel. At the same time it’s sad to see evidence of someone just not being able to cope. But I know you will do your best to make the most of all that this person cared for and kept. Good luck Alex and family!
I can't imagine the scope of clearing out this house. I'm getting overwhelmed just watching you go through all this stuff. I'm 53, and I'm sitting here yelling "I remember those" or " my parents or grandparents had one like that". So many cool treasures to see and be found. I'll enjoy watching you go through it all.
I was literally ago when they cleared the musicians house. Having to travela few hours to it to do months of hard work while still running the store. But they did it. Some people can do the near impossible it seems. Just remembered the Potters house had no working furnace for a while too. Wow I can barely do anything!
It is interesting/fun to watch the veils of time pulled aside, but I always feel a bit sad for the people whose challenges in life caused them to live like this.
This is the cleanest, most organized hoarder house I've ever seen and there are a lot of really good things in there. The furniture was in great condition!
I worked for an auction company many years ago, and found out that you really had to go through everything. At times we found money in cards, envelopes and each and every purse/wallet pocket by pocket should be looked at. a gopro cam would be nice so you could be hands free when you go through stuff.
It’s weird how giddy I am to watch this new Hoarder Home series. You are so funny and I love watching you, your family and friends sorting through the treasures and junk.
I know that dealing with these hoarder houses is a tremendous amount of work, but I will say, if this was all you did, I would be here for every episode. Love Them , and thank you so much for it!!
Watching on tv....in 1966, my husband's partner sold his Cord Phaeton. For huge bucks to the big collector in AZ. All the metal pieces on the exterior had been gold plated in Japan. It was black, convertible and gorgeous. The ultimate in elaborate luxury.
Those beautiful crocheted blankets should be donated to shelters for the homeless if the can’t be sold for good money, people just understand the amount of time and love one puts into making them… Imlove sitting back, watching UA-cam videos like yours Alex while crocheting 😊

This is what I was hoping for! Alex was made for these kind of projects. I hope there are many hidden gems in this hoarder adventure, but it already looks like the furniture is going to be easy to sell for a decent amount. I can't wait to watch the rest of this series!
your garbage bill would be almost completely reduced if you recycled the cardboard/paper, & put out a FREE pile daily (including half-used cleaning supplies, broken/repair items, & "expired" food - it's not spoiled unless the can has damage)...we did this when we were packing to move and put all the non-donate stuff curbside (like that cat bed; someone would pop it in the laundry & it wouldn't end up in the landfill)...almost EVERY SINGLE THING (except actual junk, which we didn't really have) went to a new home!
Because of the speaker grills, I think that “funky desk” will turn out to be a 1950s or 1960s stereo console cabinet with a turntable built into it. Wonderful find!
My immediate thought was clear the garage as it is easy access getting it clear for furniture out the big door. A sorting station there would also make it easier to have charity, rubbish and sell piles ready to move out without having to lug stuff up and down stairs.
I always circle back to the same thoughts about the huge amount of money represented by these hordes. Fascinating and horrifying. Can’t even quite comprehend what it would be like to have that much disposable income above what is needed to eat and keep the lights on.

I LOVE YOUR HOARDED HOUSE SERIES! Glad to see another! My OCD goes crazy with you getting carried away, though. You go through boxes as they catch your attention, but I'm telling you, you get a room clear (obviously the upstairs living room since it's so clear already) and sort and stage your keeps in there, with empty boxes in a front corner for easy access. I'd be beside myself for an opportunity to get a chance to clear a house like this. You're living the dream!!!

He can't bring in too many people, because he needs the opportunity to make decisions on what goes, what he keeps etc so he must keep that narrow. Also, at this early stage, having more than two people wouldn't work - there's barely enough room for two people to move around, let alone more. Also, I think he likes it this way - more fun :)
@@hilaryc3203 This place is on two levels and has many rooms. Multiple people can be there and be in different parts of the house. He did that with the last house. He had Hans and Zenovia in multiple places as well as the guy he sold a lot of fur coats alone in the basement and Josh was in and out.
@@vickiecrittenden5552 I see it from my perspective, but he has a system, it works for him. Maybe other people were busy. Or maybe the difference is that in this house, everything is boxed up, clean, no piles of bagged garbage, disgusting fridge to clean. Each box has to be gone through with him making those decisions on the items. How would he look over each and every box with people doing what....in all corners of the house? Who knows, matters not to the peanut gallery. :)
I remember in the Musician’s house when you were so intent on clearing things you weren’t able to check value on went to the dump (the name Italian Hassock). Other items your audience saved you from tossing. I’ve always wondered what the buyer of the clothing made out of all that Vintage and stuff in the pockets.
When you said Predator statue and then VHS tapes I got excited as a vhs collector. They almost likely will have nice collectible tapes in there (plus there was a Blockbuster plastic bag inside that candy box you said was trash, that bag is sellable!)
Great. Fun for you and your family friends and viewers. The owners, though bittersweet, are probably very relieved. Kostner auctions is probably happy too. You can put a large pot under the toilet belie the valve handle ( if dripping there) in case someone forgets to turn it off.. It can fill up fast though so check occasionally and make sure it is off and when you leave.
Well there is at least 20,000 items so even if sold for a buck a piece you’d make your investment back! This is so exciting and I can’t wait to see this series unfold Alex!
If not counted any value to work of Alex and what he pays for his crew and dump trucks and so on. Though I too do believe there is profit to be made there 🙂
First time watching. I was very happy to hear that you'll auction the stuff out and avoid putting it to landfill. I have seen people emptying houses and basically telling about awesome old pieces, that they have no value or they are gross to touch. We never know what has value to others. Glad the house was kept well and also pretty clean.
These videos always make me feel so much better about the state of my own home. Also, they remind me to grab some junk out of my mom's house when I visit, so there's not so much to go through later on.
"Gumboots" refers to the fact that those boots are rubber and rubber was made from the sap of rubber trees, called gum. Detectives used to be called gumshoes because using rubber-soled shoes enabled them to sneak around quietly while spying on people.
Ooh this will be fun to watch! The Potters house was the one that made me find you and I LOVED everything about it! I hope one day you'd be willing to do the same type of series again in the future :3 As for now, Im happy with this! :3

I'm so glad you have another hoarder home, these are my favorite shows!
Yaayyyy, Patrick, 'the ghost' is back! hope he sings with you.
You're just so cool, Alex. An absolute gem of a human being.
It's so lovely to have Patrick back 😁
Absolutely. I am glad he is back to help out. Please get a mask Patrick, no need to ruin your lungs over a bunch of old stuff..erm..antiques!?
Another hoard series! My favorite
Love that they had makeup in a tackle box!! When I was a teenager I used a tackle box for my makeup 💄💋!!
This looks to be the cleanest, most organized and nicest hoard I have ever seen! Great find!
He said it had already been gone through. It likely wasn't in this condition when the owner lived there
I remember in the Musician’s house when you were so intent on clearing things you weren’t able to check value on went to the dump (the name Italian Hassock).
You're so funny..staying focused then like a Magpie..oh look! 🤣
This clean out is going to be a Fun treasure hunt with many hours of content. More Patrick please 🤗
It’s so much fun watching you rummage through the house. I sit here and say things like: wait! Go back! I want that!
Can’t wait for the journey!!!❤️❤️❤️
Well there is at least 20,000 items so even if sold for a buck a piece you’d make your investment back! This is so exciting and I can’t wait to see this series unfold Alex!
If not counted any value to work of Alex and what he pays for his crew and dump trucks and so on.
Though I too do believe there is profit to be made there 🙂
cant see how he doesnt lose money on it, but the youtube bucks from content creation probably makes the difference.
@@donsurlylyte Yep, that is where the real money is.
I am glad to see Patrick smile. Can’t wait to see what you run into in the house Alex. I’m so excited!!! Aaaaaaaaand off we GO!!!!🤟🏼🤍
First time watching. I was very happy to hear that you'll auction the stuff out and avoid putting it to landfill. I have seen people emptying houses and basically telling about awesome old pieces, that they have no value or they are gross to touch. We never know what has value to others. Glad the house was kept well and also pretty clean.
Perfect time are you for all those Christmas decorations
These videos always make me feel so much better about the state of my own home. Also, they remind me to grab some junk out of my mom's house when I visit, so there's not so much to go through later on.
You have sunshine back in your face, it great to see you so excited again.
"Gumboots" refers to the fact that those boots are rubber and rubber was made from the sap of rubber trees, called gum. Detectives used to be called gumshoes because using rubber-soled shoes enabled them to sneak around quietly while spying on people.
that's the cleanest hoard I've ever seen
Ooh this will be fun to watch! The Potters house was the one that made me find you and I LOVED everything about it! I hope one day you'd be willing to do the same type of series again in the future :3 As for now, Im happy with this! :3
I love it when you do these series. I started watching during the Potter’s house. I look forward to each video!
The furniture is amazing and so beautiful I’m excited to see what you turn up.
Just a suggestion Alex why not mark your keeper boxes with with a coloured marker that way would eliminate any confusion for others
knowing where to take things
Great idea! A = Alex, K = Kastner Auctions, Edmonton, D = Donate, etc.
He needs an organizer for sure 😊 enthusiasm 100% though
I am sooooo happy to see Patrick helping again, he is such a cool addition/help, lol.
So exited to see this series, thanks Alexander for all your hard work, it takes a lot of time to edit everything into a watchable video.
God bless.
We call Rubber Boots, Gumboots in New Zealand in fact there's a small town called Taihape which is the Gumboot capital of NZ lol
Love your channel and especially these home clean outs. The only problem is I have things I have to do around the house and I cant stop watching your channel. 🤣 keep telling myself 5 minutes more.
Don't dismiss all those blankets. Some can bring big money. Especially new in package blankets with satin borders
It's really remarkable how much knowledge Alex has packed in his head about all this stuff and the era it comes from. I guess i'm saying the real treasure here is Alex's brain. lol Loved the video and can't wait for more !
Excited!! Another money making hoarder house for you Alex! Looks like lots of sellable stuff & treasures to be discovered. You work hard for you money. Thanks for taking us along !
Beautiful couches
Your “Naked Lady” was late 60’s!
My Aunt made one for my father to sit on his “Majestic” stereo and record player! 1960’s
Who knows where they are now…you brought back memories with many items!❤😊
I know I'm going to love this series, and love the fact that this house is actually neater, without all the rodent issues. This type of video is the best of Curiosity Inc. and I know you mentioned you hoped you'd get your money back. I don't think you need to worry. That place is a resellers dream. Really looking forward to seeing what else you find.
I hope you take us on a detailed journey! I live vicariously through your videos as this feels like an absolute dream job for me. I love going through even the tiniest little thing.
Wow there must be so many houses like this full of hoarded stuff. Great vid Alex looking forwarding to following this series 🙏👌
There's a house on UA-cam with stuff stacked up like this in his yard. He's being sued by the local government.
I've been waiting for this house since the last one. The respect you have for people's things is admirable, thank you. Love these
Man oh man a lot of stuff
