In this video Tim demonstrates a shinbox flow from the ground to standing. This is a great way to play and build strong and resilient legs. #originalstrength

I love this one, I do shin box flows with my classes. To hit the shoulders, try holding some (light!) dumbbells overhead through out the movement. This only for those though who can do the shinbox without having their hands supporting them from behind.

Dylan, that sounds like level 3! Brutal, but fun. Thanks for the suggestion!

I use to be able to do this before my ankle surgery but now I'm getting back able to do these movements also other new moves. TY. I do have 1 question if anyone could answer. I was doing this when I go into the lunge the back of my good leg kinda hurt. I wonder if there something that just over tense that I need to relax or maybe I need to take it slower. It felt like a knot so maybe I need to do a stretch or something. Any tips could help, thanks :D I know it old vid but o well, haha. Thanks again.

I would take it slower. Sounds like you were “knotting up” and speed could have been the issue. So, slower and reduced range of motion may be very helpful.

Hi Tim. have you ever talked with a children's educator about this stuff? It struck me watching this that you could add a simple rhythmic song to it and it would be GREAT for kids - you could even use a metronome and speed it up slightly on every repetition. How much benefit would people have if this stuff was IMBEDDED in our brains from a young age - and there is nothing like a song to do that. Alan.

Alan D, we haven’t really talked with anyone in children’s education, only those that want OS in children’s education. So maybe soon. And I agree with you 300%. Music and/or rhythm added to these movements would be fantastic for kids, but it would also be fantastic for adults as well. I do often play with these movements to music. It’s fun and I also believe it teaches timing, coordination and anticipation. It’s so good for the nervous system... I’ve thought about videoing something like this, but I haven’t for fear of UA-cam pulling the video down for copyright music rules and laws. Anyway, thank you so much for the idea. You’re absolutely right, nothing like moving to a song!
