One of the best sounding V6s I've heard.
Aren't these twin turbo'd from factory?
Yes.. twins and over 500hp
They’re fast asf from factory is what they are
Yep twin turbo v6... its basically a ferrari roma v8 with two less cylinders
Danggg stock wasn't bad
Double X-pipe was a must here... This thing is bi-turbo... it needs to equal its pressure. This engine naturally has a scream, you turned it into a tractor...
Down low, kinda sounds like a cummins a little.
😂
"RELEASE THE 90 DEGREE TRUMPETS...!!!" the sound is more than a match for a G80 M3. what's great about the Quad Giulia is that Alpha kept the size small and compact, so it's much more reminiscent of BM's famous E36 and E46 M cars. also ref: the limited GTAm.
That was my exact thoughts !! Sounds like a g80
I’d definitely keep stock exhaust and do catless downpipes, plenty of sound for me maybe the resonator delete
That car sounds WRC ready.
the shifts sounds sooo good
IMO easily the best sounding modern v6, maybe the best ever idk. A deep throaty aggressive v6 unlike any other
Because it's derived from a 90° V8 Ferrari engine.
@@nessuno5403 Leave it up to Ferrari to save another brand.
@@nessuno5403 that’s actually not really true, lots of people say that. But it’s a completely new engine, but designed by the same engineer that made the Ferrari f154 engine
@@CB12345 Ferrari didn’t save them lmao, Stellantis EU did
@@bpearr8266 another know-it-all. This project was born before Stellantis even existed and there is no Stellantis EU.
Absolutely love these. Driven a couple 4cyl guilias and they were great. Can’t imagine how awesome the quad is given it’s huge power bump and all the other upgrades
I always thought that these Guilias are some of the best looking sedans currently on the market. Especially when it comes to driving dynamics and performance straight out the factory.
Gotta have those dunamics haha
This is the first "real" Alfa after the 3.0L GTV6 in the early 80s. The 155 /156 etc had nothing on BMW who rained supreme from the 1980's. Especially after the e36 M3. In South Africa, we had an e30 333i & 325iS instead of the 4cylinder M3.
When I was finally ready to buy a car in the mid 2000s BMW was the only choice if you enjoyed driving dynamics. Anything better would be double of triple the price.
They look like bmws. You could swap out the badge in the rear, and the front grille and you wouldn't know the difference.
As for performance, it performs just like other cars in that price range.
@@Tattle-by-Tale Thank you for calling me out on that typo. That is hilarious. 🤣
@@louvendran7273 I have to look more into older Alfas again. The brand definitely made a good comeback here in America since I am seeing more of them now, but the older models are the best, even if they aren't the fastest and more most powerful. Driving fun is all that matters to me.
Sound is incredibly sick. Turbo V6s have so much personality.
That thing flies, it sounds decent. 🔥🔥
sounds perfect. 95% of these boomers in the comments -- first time they have even seen the italian M3. Boomers love to Yap Yap Yap
Yup Yup Yup :-) Haven't had any issues with her at all, but I also drive it like I stole it!
Boomers isn’t an insult
Still kinda raspy and I'm not a boomer. It's missing a x pipe
Needs An X Pipe
Custom or does a brand make one
Sounds good, I like it. 😎👍
A 2023 with only 1986 miles crazy
That thing MOVES
This thing kinda reminds me of the GM 4300 and 3800 with the way it rumbles. Sounds a bit like the old V6 S-10s/1500s and some of the Buicks from years ago. I'm assuming they have some kind of unequal length headers and tubing on the exhaust to get that kind of sound.
Wow it’s sounds very good
This thing sounds dope! With that being said, I'd be fine with the stock exhaust as well. I don't even know if I'd bother modifying it if it was my car.
Alot of people in these comments seems to be too hung up on the rasp when the car is revved in the garage. The real test is how the car sounds under load (aka 'BEAST MOOOOODDE'
🤣) and it sounds awesome there. I am also surprised how good they can get the exhaust to sound considering its a twin turbo. The turbos usually muffle the exhaust sound, but this car almost sounds naturally aspirated. I'm more of a fan of NA when it comes to 6 cylinders so this is right up my alley.
I love how it "farts" when it's in BEAST MOOOOODDE!
X pipe would make it perfect. They stock resonator probably had a x pipe in it
A bit raspy could use another high flow resonator But not too bad! Shout out to the owner, beautiful car
Thanks - the rasp gives it its distinctness - it sounds way better when under load than sitting on the rack. I get a kick how it "farts" too. Thanks - I love the car and Exhaust Addicts just improved on it. It's loud when the valves are open but still fails on cold start. But then again it's not meant to sound nice at a stopped light ;-)
Those cars are cool! 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
That was good
For a short while I contemplated trading my Jeep in for one of these. Glad I didn’t but damn that sounds good
Not sure how I feel about this. But agree with one poster, sounds like a diesel. 😒
Clown, you never heard a diesel then
those cars are insane actually...505hp from that small of a V6 is insane also, theyre fun while they work but they are like $80k so its really not worth it unless you trade for another car before it breaks
European cars are ticking time bombs in general.
@@CB12345everything breaks don't blame the car cus of your wallet
these cars are extremely reliable
Killer car, killer exhaust work. I think that car would hurt some feelings in a race.
Sounds good to me
hahaha it sounded like a tractor, the word Quadrifoglio means four leaf clover.
That's why the car has the four-leaf clover.
Alfa has used that symbol since the beginning of their racing teams in the early 1920’s. It’s from a superstition of the original drivers, it was originally in a white square. One of the original drivers crashed and passed way in an Alfa P1 in Monza and his car did not have the quadrifio on it. They changed it from a white square background to a white triangle due to the loss.
Tractors do not sound like this 😂
@@CorvZ061 that's the romanticized, marketing version. The Alfa Romeo museum curators and researchers and even the family of the killed driver have said he was not superstitious.
@@nessuno5403 he may not have been superstitious, what about the other 3 remaining? We know Enzo Ferrari was
@@CorvZ061 many in Italy are, but the cloverleaf raced and existed from before April 1924. Its purpose was to distinguish factory cars from privateers. Then people invent all the stories they like 🙂
this car is a beast stock very underrated
Nice license plate
By former Ferrari engineers 😅
ciao, questa autovettura,è una delle (ormai pochissime) cose, che mi fa sentire con orgoglio di essere Italiano.Purtroppo,i teutonici alemanni,ci hanno preso tutto.Tutto omologato, autovetture tutte uguali,e sopratutto elettriche-
E siamo già due italiani 💪🏻
Pipers really should have been used
Reminds me of what older V6 muscle cars sounded like with loud exhaust minus the turbo and the pops
It barely has 2000 miles if he drives it like a teenager he’s gonna fuck up the engine
wonder why it doesnt have a crossover pipe. Needs an x pipe. it sounds like a damn tractor tbh lmao, ruined a really good car.
No X pipe? Yeah this sounds bad…
these comments must be full of bots or kids with no car because that thing looks and sounds terrible
Crazy to think this is a Ferrari V8 with two cylinders chopped off. Sounds like 💩 lol
🤌🏽
What a sleeper , how many people could you fool at a red light with that ... I mean sounding that bad, what a lethargic rev but hey I saw it go and that speaks for itself.
Yea it sounds like a ricer with a tin can exhaust when sitting at a stop light but the magic is when you take off, rev to redline and shift up or down....... then it sounds like an italian sportscar with a ferrari-designed engine. Fails on cold start too!!
Those things are extremely fast stock and should never be messed with on the road.
its too raspy i dont like it
From what I’ve heard, it’s a Ferrari 458 engine, shortened by 2 cylinders and a cross plane crank instead of a flat plane. Whatever they did, Sounds amazing!
From what you heard? 😂 Info is readily available. This 690T V6 Alfa engine is partly based on the F154 V8 Ferrari engine that wasn't only in the 458.
@@nessuno5403damn bud, you’re a 🌈acting like you’re an engineer for AR.
Sounds really bad and farts to much imo though
Don't confuse your mama with this car
Always liked the look of the alfa's but goddamn they sound worse than puerto rican civics
This is a hilarious roast.
Not even close
😅🤣🤣😭💀
Nice work! 🤘🏻😎🔨 Does not sound good at all.
😂
It sounds great wym?
What a way to screw up a great car
How so?
everybody that know cars , know this car is shit
Not your money, not your car, not your problem.
@@CaptainGameSlayerreal shit
@@zayybelike3842 Hmmmm. Well I'd counter and say that those who think this car is shit don't know how to drive it.
