    We mix pepper types especially near end of summer. Also like to ferment especially smaller batches. Good video and you always give clear and concise instructions.

      Fermenting is fun too. I like fermented jalapeños…nice and “zingy”!

    I made end of season pickled peppers with a variety of hot and sweet peppers. My son and husband like them on sandwiches, pizza and anything that needs a bit more zing. I’ve made pepper relish in the past too. It is so nice to go to the pantry and pull out a jar of goodness that adds a special taste to an ordinary meal.

    This would make a nice little addition to a basket of goodies to give to my grown children for Christmas. They love spicy foods. Have you ever made hot pepper jelly? I know they have enjoyed it on sandwiches at a local restaurant, but have never seen the recipe. Thanks so much for sharing and have a great weekend!

      I haven’t made the jelly because I don’t think the kids would eat it, but I may try one day!

    What do you put the pickled peppers on? Is it like relish?

      Sandwiches, Mississippi style roasts. Someone else in the comments said they like them on pizza so I may have to try that!

      @@TealHouseFarm Do the jalapeno stay hot or does canning tone it down? I remember buying some jalapeno peppers for a chili I had made, and they were so hot I could barely tolerate the chili. My mother, who was Scandinavian, actually liked it a lot, but those were sooo hot I was surprised.
      You're very skilled at canning and mixing your flavoring. It probably would be great on pizza.
