Hey brotha, thank you for all the practice material you offer on your channel. Last week, I went to MEPS and took my ASVAB there. I scored a 131 GT Score and 96 AFQT Score. All I did was watch your videos and study SAT words. Your work is much appreciated.
@@laptopuse1599 Hi there! I basically looked at all of the practice ASVAB word knowledge tests on UA-cam. That was enough for me. May also be important to note that my group at MEPS all took the CAT ASVAB on computer.
@@laptopuse1599 I am applying for Army OCS because I find that it offers many opportunities as for branching! Hope all goes well. Focus on algebra, reading relatively fast and just the UA-cam word knowledge practice if you don't have much time to prepare. I studied for about an hour a day, 3-4 days per week and for 2 months, as I began studying before I even spoke with my recruiter.
Hey guys I watched all his practice tests under AR and Math then I watched all his in depth math ones, make sure you write it down so you can look over them, the test wasn’t all that hard I stressed my self out for nothing and I was never good at math in Highschool
im suprised on how much of this stuff I forgot over the years. Just the simplest things really like how to divide fractions and how to use decimals and percents. These videos are godsend
Thankfully, once you see this stuff a couple of times, you should be good to go on test day! By the way, this is one of the harder practice tests I've posted recently.
Hey I just wanted to say your the real MVP I’ve been watching your videos for a while now and I can honestly say without you I don’t know where I would be your the reason I scored a 90 on my asvab I hope everything in your life goes right man

@@clonixs9338 well I studied about maybe 3-4 hours a night in total, for a whole month I watched the videos in the asvab 2021 study guide, I would see him workout the problems and would learn from them, and when he says try to pause the video when working out solutions I did, that is really great for practice by pausing the video and see if he has the same solution as you, so my study plan that helped me was to watch 2 arithmetic videos Monday- Tuesday and 2 math knowledge videos Wednesday Thursday and repeat everyday I bought like 3 notebooks and took a lot of notes which helped me, I paused the videos wrote down the questions and attempted to solve it, it’s really great practice to do. Generally speaking, people struggle with systems of equations because it requires them to think several steps ahead, and it requires you do to some math mentally. For this problem, I had to multiply either one or both of the equations by a constant, such that when I added the equations together, either the x or y variable would be eliminated. This is called solving a system of equations via the elimination method, and you generally figure this part out mentally. In this case, I chose to multiply the top equation by 3, because I know 2.5 x 3 = 7.5. When I added 7.5 y to - 7.5 y, the y variable was eliminated, and that allowed me to solve for x.
That’s no help ik this is a year later but how can u just pick it ur self im confused because I would at least think you would x by 1.5 and you just picked 3?
@@GrammarHero I. Think it ok. Sir I feel proud of myself because I took the test without taking any help and I watched most of your videos so thank you
To solve a system of equations using the elimination method, you have to eliminate either the x or y variable, and by multiplying the top equation by 3.5, I was able to eliminated the y variable.

why you put 3 to distribute number 6
Did I miss how you came up with the number 3 to use to multiply on question 6 System of equations? Im not seeing how it got put in there.
Generally speaking, people struggle with systems of equations because it requires them to think several steps ahead, and it requires you do to some math mentally.
For this problem, I had to multiply either one or both of the equations by a constant, such that when I added the equations together, either the x or y variable would be eliminated. On question #6. Where did you get the 3 to distribute?
I just picked it myself.

im confused on Q6 at the end where you divided 2.5 by 10

Is that good or bad for you?

Got a 61 on the PiCat and 85 on electronics section lol. But is it true only 10% get to verify there PiCat score?
If you cheated on the PiCAT, then your odds of verifying your scores are low. Otherwise, you should have nothing to worry about!
question 6 why you multiply thye first by 3
To solve a system of equations using the elimination method, you have to eliminate either the x or y variable, and by multiplying the top equation by 3.5, I was able to eliminated the y variable.
So for a problem like that, should I always use 3?
@@meganrobinson8748 no it depends on the numbers that you are working with
In #11, the Answer is "A"
Yes, I circled the wrong one! Otherwise, all of the math is correct. Clearly, this practice test even had me struggling a little bit.
