- In this video, I work out some problems from an ASVAB mathematics knowledge practice test (i.e., asvabapp.com). In order to do well on the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB), you must be comfortable solving problems that are similar to the ones in this video.

Grammar Hero‼️ Literally, you are a Hero‼️ Thank you so much for your time, expertise and super detailed testing and learning materials. I literally did everything you said, and it worked. If you’re prepping for a test, take your time and review all his videos, make notecards if you have to to keep handy when not logged on, and most importantly- try the question yourself first then follow along to complete the questions & learn the method for success.
Grammar Hero is the real deal, I literally considered his material as my study guide course. Make a schedule and use his practice tests, very easy to stay committed and engaged with all of his material.
I scored a 110, and if you’ve looked over scoring requirements- you know that opens the door to the best of best schools and MOS choices. I am immensely thankful for Grammar Hero, I was very confident because of his channel. Yo, how did the confirmation testing go? What score did you had to make and was the entire test just a shorter ASVAB test or was it only AFQT subjects (AR/PC/WK/MK)?
@@Rotasu_ I did good and it is a shorter test with basically the same questions and it’s just to see if you really did pass and didn’t cheat I got a 55 and I did the confirmation and got a 58 as long as you get over the original 31 pt for the army you are good and you get to keep whatever high mark you score even if it’s way above what you scored before

I just wanted to reach out and say thank you for the countless hours (days? weeks?) of time that you've devoted to this channel. I recently retook my AFCT for the second time and finally got the scores I needed to make a change in my career. If it weren't for your videos, I would not have gotten anywhere close to where I needed to be. Thank you.
Congrats, you're welcome, and I wish you the best with the rest of your career in the military! For the most part, I created this channel during the COVID lockdowns, and I've slowly built it up since then!
I learned more watching this video than watching a few separate videos focusing on one topic. All the videos are by you of course GH, and all are actually helpful. For me I just needed to know how to first approach solving the problems because I was at a complete loss. Hadn't done this type of math since middle school. But now that I know okay for problems like these (i.e. simplifying) I know to look for common terms, or distributing or reducing to then get to the simpler point of just multiplying/adding etc. And watching this video in particular gave me that light bulb sense of "oh yea, I remember now that that's the way to solve this problem." I'll definitely be doing this for when it comes to arithmetic reasoning. Thanks GH

Hello. after looking at question 6 I saw that answer D is: "infinitely many solutions" is there any circumstance where that would be applicable or is it just a trap answer? Thank you!!
If you're solving something, and the result is something like 5 = 5, then you know there are infinitely many solutions. In systems of equations where the lines are directly on top of each other, there are infinitely many solutions.

@@briannacampbell313You should be ready for the test! If anything, I'd work through my shorts and my math boot camp playlist to keep your mental math sharp for test today! Don't over do it! 30 minutes of shorts videos every other day or so is plenty! Good luck!

Hey GrammarHero! Just wanted to let you know that your videos have truly helped me a lot! But I was wondering how should I set up my study schedule. I usually study for an hour a day, and I have a list of everything I'm weak at. However, I was wondering since you do have a playlist from top to bottom of literally everything on the ASVAB should I study the way your playlist is set up? Or should I focus on my weak parts first and then study your playlist. I'm not quite sure that is why I ask you hoping for a resolution! (BTW I DID PASS MY ASVAB WITH A 35 BUT I WANT TO SCORE HIGHER)
Either way should be fine, but in addition to doing that, you'll also want to take at least 10 or more practice tests before you test again. Personally, I would recommend using my videos as well as the practice tests in either ASVAB for Dummies or the Kaplan ASVAB book. Good luck!

Uhh I failed #9. I wrote 2 1/2 as 2.5 🙈
That's OK, since this is just practice. Like the ASVAB, Grammar Hero can be pretty tricky at times. As long as you understand what I did and can deal with similar problems in the future, you'll be good to go. :)
