Topoint R3 Recurve Review

Hi mate,
I have the R3, with a bunch of other Topoint accessories, and I must say, when properly tuned and with a good bow string, it is quite good. I use the whisker biscuit rest though, it sort of corrects the arrow flight through the vanes friction better than the 3 brush one. Nice re-view though, make one again after some time shooting it :)

Yeah it’s expensive living on an “island” away from everyone else. Prices go up for us. But it’s better than living in commie-land haha just teasing. I grew up in Canada.

If it’s all fiberglass yes, but since this seems like it’s a composite of wood and fiberglass I suggest you take the string off when storing or not using.

Can you tell me the difference because and r2 and r3 bow skill wise??

The R2 is a target focused re curve bow with it's long length and stability. The R3 is hunting biased, Emphasis on being compact, short and hard hitting!

Must have gone up after 2 years because its now $210 AUD

Seems like it! Considering high end re curves are going for $600-1300 i'd still say the R3 is a great buy!
