hello from Romania! I like your tutorials about archery ! I buy this bow and it works great only because it has the same problem as the Jaguar Martin, such as the arrow holder! Those who designed the bow also had to design a matching arrow holder!
Wow this is actually a very good bow package, you usually see gimmicky stuff in the packages, this seems to be the necessities, and not cheapo products, Maybe the arrows but they give you a dozen, not 3 lol. Pretty good value.
Grip don't fall off no more, mine not light either. I got a 50# because I wanted close to 45# a 27inches, I compensated for it being a few pounds lighter, turns out it pulls 61.3#@28.5 inches 😵😵😵. Its noisy as fuck and takes some tinkering, no wonder the 500 spine shot 6 inches right. The 340s for the 60# compound, shot spot on at 10-12 m. 2022 good quality for the money, and I'd rather it be heavy than too light but 10# is dangerous. Imo 🤷
Hey there mate, I just purchased one of these packages and waiting for delivery in mean time ive watched some videos on them and would you be able to give me some things that would make this bow better for hunting fox and goat not to fussed on this sight as I dont really have a clue how to set it to 20 yards etc so probably be taking it off but any other advice and tips would be greatly appreciated cheerrs mate
you can't lower the weight of the bow those silver metal nut washer things only fit at the top there is a circular groove cut into the bow at the top and nowhere else
Hi, I'm interested in this bow because I am on a budget... I saw this on the website a few days ago and here you are with the review! So, if I was to follow your advise in getting better arrows and arrow rest, which one should I get as you have many products. I'm after the 40 pound weight bow btw. Also with the arrows, would they be made or do i need to pick the inserts/points. I'd probably be practicing on a target, but keen to go out in the bush eventually.
I did and it chewed the loop out twice as fast as my compound, turns out the 50# I bought was drawing 61.3#@28.5"🤦, stripped it down to a basic rest and shoot fingers, I only use release an a compound, thumb and wrist.👌 Happy shootings 🤟
With a recurve it is like lifting at the gym. The more you lift the hard it gets. So you may be able to pull it back once but not 60 times. Then it depends on how often you shoot. So my target recurve was 42# which I was shooting 100 arrows a day with. Then I had some break, now I struggle with it, my scores dropped and I shake. So for a Hunting recurve which is what the R3 is most people will buy 45#. I had one customer buy a 60#, found it to heavy then brought 50# then a few months later brought 45#. He had been shooting for years. So in short the more you shoot the higher weight you can shoot and the more arrows you want to shoot the lower the poundage you will need.
It will ship sameday - but delivery is always questionable. We have no control over when a parcel is delivered. Most parcels are fine but there can be delays.
@@krownedklown420klik9 I shoot 400 spine and I bought 60 pound Samick Sage limbs for it you just have to remove the hardware and it fits perfect but because the angle of the riser I only get 55 lbs but that’s perfect for me.
@@DisgruntledVet78 I thought the shelf might be too far.past centre to shoot off, do you use Velcro of something like normal as a pad, i swapped the capture rest that came with the r3 with my antelope off my compound, both shoot good,. I got 50# r3 and it pulls 61.3#@28.8inches, guess I got lucky,. However my 500 spine are too weak, but the 340s for my 60# compound bow shoot straight..
Love your honesty, rare for a salesman, well done.
Bought this bow for my son. Works fine! Looks the goods too. He loves it.
1 min 30 sec into the review, Steve has said 'average' like 12 times... Thanks Steve, please never change.

Thanks VERY much for this review. Just bought this as a noob. What replacement rest do you recomend for it?
Thanks for the review I saw this on amazon but wasn't confident due to lack of reviews
800 is too weak spine for 40 lbs bow. It should be anything from 600 to 500 spine, depending on arrow length and point weight you put on.
Just bought this. Unfortunately I think I went too high on draw weight. Do you know if any other limbs will fit it?
Thank you for your review, i look forward to learning more from your channel

What is an arrow rest you would recommend in place of the one included with the bow?

Another uestion how do i change the bow ? lian anderson says that its better to shoot from the rigth side, can I switch everything to the other side?
The bow comes right handed only. If you right handed you need to shoot a right handed bow as the arrow moves left.
Why do you only send bow and none of the accessories you state come with it
How do you install bow rest I must have the wrong bow rest

These bows have been popular and touch wood I have not had any problems yet. The kit comes ready to shoot, but the arrows are very average.
Archery Supplies how abouts topoint M1...
Did you ever try a release with this bow?

Hi, is the limb pockets ILF?
nope, this isnt ILF
Any body know the brace hieght recommended...
Gona buy the bow, what is the draw weigth recomemnded?
I have a good uper body so i think i can pull 50 lbs but not sure because im a total nub.

Thanks for the reply and thanks for the review, you should publish this in Amazon page.
would you prefer the hostage rest over a whisker biscuit ?
I find the Hostage will wear quickly unless everything is perfect. The Hostage is very harsh.
Lol, how are you going to shoot the shoot trough rest without a release 😂
The 800 Tornados arrows shot better. But I would still suggest replacing the rest and the arrows.
foxbow90 people have done it for years, Team Fitzgerald for example, Tim Wells... Check them out.
How many is this bow's fps ?
Bump on that one, I would like to know the speed too.
130-180 for a 50#, could probably Achieve it at 40# depending on form, bow tune( get a better string) and tune it, get proper arrows.
Will this bow ship before Christmas

Archery Supplies thx for the reply :)
What is the maximum draw?
30-31 I think draw mine 29.5-30 before didn't break.
I shoot my arrows off the shelf. The sight that comes with it is garbage but the bow itself is awesome.
Seems like it's cut deep, hows the flight and what arrows do you use.
