This reminds me so much of my husband and I. We were neighbors for years, good friends but never dated. We both dated other people but could never find the right one. Years later, we ran into each other and have not been separated since. We have been married for 15 years and have two beautiful boys together!
Lesson#2: Don't rush to grow up. Try to enjoy where you are in Life as you may miss something valuable if you try to bypass it too quickly. I'm glad I never rushed. :)
I had to learn that too but I was headstrong I didn't pay attention I went doing it anyway. That's a good thing because you taught me something I never knew I wished I would've never rushed to grow up because it ain't gonna be easy, and see that's how you get nostalgia(sentimentality) you know.
I doubt he was ever in it. She just made the wrong choices the first time around. When a man is truly in the friendzone, he can't ever get out of it. It is the same for a woman. The other person simply does not find them attractive in any way.
@@1955stefanie women can get out of the friend zone with men if they have a come up. Men don't get out unless she is used up and as had many kids by many shitbags.
The ending is very satisfying. But I think an Indy film ending would be better. She forgot not because she went into the future but because she had amnesia. It ends with her on the porch sitting next to the doll house, tears and all.
I think Matt getting that perfect photo in a selfie with an old-fashioned camera might actually be the least believable thing about this movie (which I adore btw)
The actors who play the young versions of Jenna and Matt have grownup into good looking people. In fact, they do resemble Jennifer Garner and Mark Fuffalo a little bit.
One of my favorite movies. I love this story so much. Everything she thought she ever wanted turned out to not be what she truly wanted. Turns out that what she wanted was right under her nose and right next door all along. You never really know who you're gonna end up with
DrewYetti Sadly, I took a sweet boy from my high school year for granted and regretted it. But 15 years later, we reconnected and dating again. Our love for each other has never been stronger than before.
This is mostly the best ending I've ever been crazy for. I'm glad Jenna has gotten her happy ending just as she wanted. She has Matt, they both are finally married, and finally lived happily ever after in their new home that resembles Jenna's dollhouse. This is so perfect. Not to mention, Madonna's song fits perfectly as it sells Jenna and Matt's love story. 🙂🙂
I was "Matty" up until his first wedding. I had that huge crush on a girl in school, but I was the fat geeky kid and she just didn't have feelings for me. Years later, she calls on my wedding day to say she loves me, but it was a too late. I felt just like Matty - that I will always love and care about her, but was no longer in love with her. I was already in love with someone else, who is my wife of 16 years today. She later married her own Star Trek geek, and we both got our dream houses. Sometimes, you don't get that second chance, but sometimes, it still works out ;)
Just saw this movie on netflix again cos this movie just turned 15..i remember this movie came out when i was 13! So memorable ..ill never forget it 😊😊
This was such a wonderful ending! I remember I watched this on DVD back in the day and I manually repeated this part because that ending ("Razzle Mr Flamhaff? Thank you Mrs Flamhaff") always made my heart flutter 💕
I love this ending! And I love watch this movie every night before I go to sleep. I wish I would be meet a guy like Matt and had happy wedding like this^^
Cailin bundrick If you don't already own it, buy the FUN & FLIRTY Edition which includes the discarded ORIGINAL beginning and end in which young Jenna And Matt are played by different kids!! The Six Chicks are the same girls but are dressed differently.
i love young Jenna's change in attitude after reverting back to age 13. She realizes it ain't so bad after all. Before, she hated her life as a yong girl but now she loves it.nowAND she got a chance to live the next 17 years the RIGHT way. Not to mention blowing Lucy off in the next to final scene is one of the most memorable movie endings ever.
Seeing them walk through the front door as a "Just Married" husband and wife at 0:59 was not what I was expecting when I first saw this movie but it was a very pleasant surprise!
Lucy:sorry forgot my scarf (grabs papers out of hand and rips them) Jenna:you know what you can be the pot and kettle all by yourself from now on..BIATCH! (spills punch on her) come on matt Lucy: what did you call me
This is actually one of the best Marvel movies I've seen. Its nice to see Hulk and Elektra together.
lol
+Jose Rodriguez Marvel?
haha
He is being sarcastic.
At lila how to do with doll house Matt j going many
this has one of the sweetest endings of a romantic comedy. it's adorable, innocent, and who could resist childhood first loves?
Indeed. One of the best payoff scenes for a romantic comedy.

I LOVE how they bought a house that looked like the house he made her! So adorable!!

a legend

Never judge your male friend if his a geek cause he'll end up being the good looking one
This is one of my favorite movies of all time! The ending is just so adorable!
Sara Danielson Same here. Not gonna lie. Such an underrate Jennifer Garner flick.
The ending is very satisfying. But I think an Indy film ending would be better. She forgot not because she went into the future but because she had amnesia. It ends with her on the porch sitting next to the doll house, tears and all.

Well he is a professional photographer :)
Joe Acosta This is true.
Well, I once saw on the news that there was an art gallery filled with pictures that were all taken with a CELLPHONE!
Yeah. Photography's always been his talent and his passion since he was a kid. By now he must be a master at it.
Plus they are both so photogenic
This is one of those movies that you watch over and over again and u never get bored of it
I'm 19 almost 20, and this scene makes me cry. Like you agree.
I'm 21. Such a great movie.
i'm almost 24 and i'm sobbing like crazy

I agree but I'm not gonna like.
This was one of the greatest chick flicks I've ever seen. 💕😂
cinthia dominguez haha right
cinthia dominguez I think it also counts as a coming of age movie as well. Also if you like this movie check out Big.
This and While Your Sleeping are my favs
Because of this movie I want this Madonna song to be played at my wedding
Steph Lemus same I love ❤️ this song

This movie, while light-hearted, taught a very important lesson... If you can't be yourself, you're nobody.
Because of this movie's perfect ending I had Crazy for You as one of the songs in my wedding 👰
Cutest movie ever!
The message: The person you consider only as your friend can actually turn out to be the one who's right for you.
Ironically, that same girl played the young version of Jennifer Garner's character in the movie, "Ghosts of Girlfriend's Past."
