Glad to see you're up and running again! Hope you're back to 100% or at least close and 2023 is your healthiest year ever and continues for decades to come. ❤
Great to have you back maestro. I really love the EQD Special Cranker, and I still cant believe it is so dirt cheap. Not a bad guitar sound in it, and super versatile. Use on bass, analog synth, etc.... Great stuff. Thanks and Happy New Year to you and yours, Andy!
I just saw the 2021 version and thought, “When is Andy coming out with a 2022 version?” 6 hours later! 😂 Also, he picked some of my absolute favorites!!!
I chased different pedals to try and build the “ultimate” pedalboard after being a light pedal user for years (tuner and some utility effects plus a few gain pedals) My shopping habit got put of control up to 2022, I was always watching YT videos about the latest and greatest pedals and would even buy duplicates of rare stuff I thought might appreciate in value. Yesterday I sold over 30 pedals on Reverb and I’m so happy I did. I didn’t make more than I paid on a single pedal of course, and now I only keep a small group of bad ass expensive pedals and top-notch stuff, just a tiny board, I don’t need all the effects and overdrives/Distoetions/fuzzes now, just my favorite in each category and some things like octaves I don’t play or like enough to justify having them on my board. You could say I’m going full minimalist, but still retaining enough tech to have a versatile rig
Great to see/hear the year in review BEST pedals of 2022 !!!! ....thanks Andy !!!!....another brilliant video !!!....be safe + healthy Mr Martin!!!!....love ya brother!!!....
4:04 The guitar at 4:04 caught my eye…it looks like a Vantage Entertainer which haven’t been produced since the early/mid 1980s. They were manufactured by Matsumoko in Japan. My first electric guitar was a similar model bought in Burlington, Canada in 1982 (and I still play it also).
Andy - did you ever release an album containing of all your demo/test tracks that you’ve composed for these videos? I’d buy them all!! And I never liked music without vocals. But your stuff is just always so cool.
Great Vid as usual. The 2022 pedal I got was the Klinger Mk1 Professional, a great version of the Mk1 Bender with a few extra controls. It maintains the Mk 1 snarl that I love with the added ability to dial in as much or as little gating as you want . Works for me.
As a reviewer myself every pedal you picked was either in my top 5 or at minimum was an Honorable mention. I review about 30+ pedals every month ...on my Blog Stomp Box Steals :-) Thanx for all your hard work giving us a year of great demo's.
Eventide 90. Right. Thanks for the pro tip Andy. Two stage and then you had me at zeppelin's phaser sound. Especially on Presence and In Thru the Out Door. Looks like imma ebay seller my stuff again. I just hope its not like 800 bucks with all the compooterings going on.
Andy is pedal GOD… the halo is so good I can’t buy it … cause I don’t play that well …special cranker is by far my #1 for the year can’t live without it…I got the zombie but I think I broke it …seriously I think I broke it
Problem with Earthquaker is they kill their own products constantly. Really don't like their new stuff and the good old ones are mostly discontinued in favor of promotional pieces.
Reverb is one of the coolest music resources in existence..... until you have a problem with customer service. If your problem doesn't fit the limited selection of options available like theft in the customer service chat portal, and your instrument winds up back on reverb like mine was a year ago. Reverb has no means of direct contact, the phone at HQ in Chicago is a short advert with no recording, same with Etsy that bought Reverb, here it is a year later and sadly it looks like I'm going to have to retain counsel and start filing customer protection complaints. Enough is Enough
And now Reverb has disabled my account altogether. Garbage website, customer service, and consumer protection protocol. So they have actually saved me from doing this myself, good customer service FINALLY.
Thank you for including bass in so many of these demos
Merry Christmas Andy! So good to see you back. Hope you have a happy and healthy 2023.
Glad to have you back, Andy! We've missed you.
Glad to see you're up and running again! Hope you're back to 100% or at least close and 2023 is your healthiest year ever and continues for decades to come. ❤
Cheers Andy!!! So glad you're digging the Halo! ❤🔥❤
It's great to see you back! After chasing the perfect high gain fuzz for years, the Crom really does that thing for me. It's definitely a keeper.
So glad to see you back Andy!
As a massive fan of the Caroline Olympia, the Crom sounds like a winner.
So good to hear Andy play. Happy New Year!
We love you Andy. Welcome back!!
Fantastic to see you back Andy! Be well and Happy New Year! 😎🎸
Welcome back Andy! We missed you!
Andy's back! All is right in the world again! Well...maybe not, but in this niche slice of the world it is.
So grateful to see you here before end of year! Blessings to you and yours!!!
You were missed good sir. Glad you’re on the mend.
Do you listen to Griselda, or is there another reference for your name?
@@kwyatt261 never heard of them. I just went to listen. Not really my thing but it sounds well done.

Special Cranker into a tweed Vibrolux is the magic I've been looking for. Love It!

Love my Special Cranker, and the Zzombee definitely has my interest.
Hope you are feeling better andy
Super secret band wants you come see us at the goodfoot for our January residence
Much love for Andy in Pdx 🤘🤘🤘
I think my favorite pedals of 2022 were the JHS Artificial Blonde, Octave Reverb, Fuzzrocious Secret C, BOSS RE-202, and Walrus Lore.
Back for the new year. Amen brother. Keep rocking the good rock. UA-cam legend
Andy is just the best. What else needs to be said?
Andy is the GOAT! Hail Andy!
Yay! Andy's back!
I've bought the Special Cranker and I love it, also it works well with an EQD Plumes just before it.
LOVE nick reinharts appearance
Thanks, Andy! Rock on! 👍🏻🎸🖖🏻
Welcome Back!
Woohoo! Andy back in action!
Is it just me or does anyone else get disappointed when you look up a pedal, but can't find Andy doing a demo of it anywhere?
The GOAT is Back!!!!!
If the Beetronics Zzombee gets upgraded with MIDI and more preset memory, it would easily be in my top 5 of the decade.
Andy - did you ever release an album containing of all your demo/test tracks that you’ve composed for these videos? I’d buy them all!! And I never liked music without vocals. But your stuff is just always so cool.

Welcome back Andy!!! I assume you’ve spent your time away learning how to use a pick? 😉
Welcome back!
Great T shirt!
Wow that Halo sounds really good. 👍
Andy hasn’t missed a beat!
Excellent choices Andy,
Haha the etching on the Crom’s PCB “So you like de juice?”
As a reviewer myself every pedal you picked was either in my top 5 or at minimum was an Honorable mention. I review about 30+ pedals every month ...on my Blog Stomp Box Steals :-) Thanx for all your hard work giving us a year of great demo's.
Do you review cheap pedals or just boutique ones?
I'm a lifelong follower.
Man, I want all of them (almost)
...thanks for including bass on a few Andy !
My pleasure, I love playing bass just as much!
Eventide 90. Right. Thanks for the pro tip Andy. Two stage and then you had me at zeppelin's phaser sound. Especially on Presence and In Thru the Out Door.

Good to see your buddy
What is the name of the song starting at 0:33? Sounds pretty cool!
Special Cranker is really good on bass
The prodigal son returns!!
Really love my Speaker Cranker!
I really want a Suhr guitar like that so bad!
Hope you’re doing better!
Dude, you’ve had that Hagstrom a long time.
Andy loves FUZZY units.
When The Godfather posts a video, we watch.
“What else is blue and mxr related? Jacks whites hair…” lmao
I like that Halo
Man, that sounded so beautiful. I had not heard of that pedal but now I'm going to look into it.
Dear Andy!
You really like Nasty Sounds!
🔥:)🔥
